Wow...so glad to see you went to Homewood Cemetery! I'm from NW Pennsylvania, & lived in Pittsburgh for a time. Checking out cemeteries has been a hobby of mine since I was a kid, & Homewood is one of my favorites. Nice to see this video & learn the stories of those spending their eternal slumber there. Pittsburgh's Allegheny Cemetery is another beautiful one. I appreciate your attention to detail in researching the deaths of these folks. I'm sure there families would approve.
As a professional that has seen mental health issues and abuse as well as experienced it firsthand, I really wish that we had better education and interventions in our country. Maybe starting in schools, teaching more about what abuse is or checking on the mental health of kids...I don't know. Our country is so broken.
In 1998, my daughter who was 18 years old was murdered by a psychopath guy, that she had only been dating for three weeks, when she tried to break up with him because he had already become controlling. He hit her in the head with a crowbar and then threw her onto a dark highway, where she was run over by five cars. It is very hard to break away from these evil, psychopaths once they get their claws in you. RIP Alina.
The first time a man hits you LEAVE! I was a victim, now a Surviver! Wreaks, beatings, he told somebody to tell me he was going to kill me. Left it on a ans.mac. The judge handled it.

WOW such a gorgeous tombstone for Alina. Such a sad story about her to. Where the court system didn't work. PFA's are not to be taken lightly. I agree with the controlling. I've been in similar situations but I was a lucky one. I survived. RIP Alina. The Hill brother stabbings was such a sad story. The family reached out for help and literally was pushed away. That is absolutely insane. Pittsburgh has allot of violence. I use to live about 40 mins north of the city for over 10 years. Still have loved ones there.
No Disrespect whatsoever, but i find the headstone very ott. Maybe its because i am from England, but i dislike this type of headstone. Here in many places it would not be allowed as Headstones here have to fit into the general age of the church, so that headstone would look ridiculous in an , lets say saxon or Norman church. Maybe a few cemetaries might be ok ?. But Rest in peace dear Alina x

Cool cemetery to visit in kentucky. It's where my grandpa and brother is buried. It's called Highland Cemetery in Kentucky. They have some interesting graves, monuments, etc... I've walked it numerous times and even put flags or flowers on forgotten graves because they need to be remembered too. Well what I find cool about this cemetery is they keep things separated. They have the regular graves, mausoleums as you come in, they have Potter's field down a little further, they have a baby land, they have a special place just for cops, emts, firefighters, etc., then they have a pet cemetery all the way at the back of the cemetery. It's pretty cool! I always looks at the stones and wonder who these people were in life and sometimes look it up. Always found cemetery's quite calming but it has a lot of history too.
Thank you I was having a bad night and watched this video and you went right by my grandfather's grave and his wife! Thank you I have always loved this cemetery! My fiance dad got married in this cemetery only thing that's kinda odd. But it's quite a beautiful video thank youn
This was so powerful. I know someone will find this and make the decision to leave their abuser. God bless you for making this video. Love from Pennsylvania 🐸❤️
This gets harder and harder to watch with so many young people dying far too soon... many murdered senselessly, die of illnesses or suffer some other ill-gotten fate that takes them from this world. As a woman of nearly 60 and having battled many battles in my life I feel blessed to still be alive. I've had Cancer, A mild stroke, suffer from many debilitating and life-threatening illnesses such as terminal Heart Disease and yet I'm still alive when so many children never got the opportunity to even get married and have a family of their own. They all must have had big dreams and yet life had other plans for their short lives... it just tears out my heart to see their names written on stone. I have a son and daughter the same ages as many of them and I pray each day they outlive me and grow old as we are meant to. My husband died from cancer at 58 and I felt he was taken far too soon, but to see these young people just beginning to know themselves and what this life can give them be snuffed out and silenced forever is getting to be far too much to bare.
I died in 2010 for 40 mins and came back from a stabbing/robbery and it's just like this Cemetery it's the most peaceful relaxing sleep, you can ever imagine, Pure Freedom. life is bad, death is good, advice for the living...... B-asic I-nstructions B-efore L-eaving E-arth

@Ayse Clark-Carter I want you to know you are stronger than you know and the fact you are smart enough to get away shows this. Please continue to be strong. Sending you hugs and positive vibes.
It's so sad when anyone dies but when someone dies under such horrendous situations it's even worse. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and no one needs to die at the hands of someone else. All of these people were loved and are loved. Your videos are good to watch Lamont and make me think of how lucky I am to be alive today. Thank you!
My sister was murdered in 1987. She was only 15. My heart breaks for the families. This happened in Norcross, Georgia 2/16/87. It was never solved. 😥😥😥
Miranda Dickerson Have you kept in contact with the police they are doing more with cold cases.
Wow what a BEAUTIFUL head stone. As a mom it would be so hard going to the grave and seeing the 2 beautiful pictures of my daughter that is sooo life like, this one got me my x boy friend when I was 19 killed my dad and 2 other's he was trying to kill us all but I was able to move out of the way of his car, Lamont I love that you tell the story's of these people. you are the best🙏💙💖 He was very controlling and alot of abuse we even had a restraining order out on him at the time, lots more to the story but you are so right get out frist sign of abuse
That is just horrible!! I am so sorry you had to endure all of that!! I hope you have a happy life now! 🙏🏻❤️
@@MissZiss Thank you,☺❤
@Meow🐈 this happened in 1980 the night of Halloween. He spent 36 year's in prison and got out 4 years ago. Sad part is I found out he was out because my childhood friend's that where friends with him to at the time added him to there friends list on fb. So I deleted all of them then just got off fb, Thank you💚
@@MOMof4sons-j2n He should of never got out. I hope he is haunted everyday by the victims.

Love you Lamont. Glad you were in our area. Beautiful cemetery
All those wind chimes in the tree at the end. Beautiful. The fate of Alina made me very sad. I think of her and her family.
Thank you, Lamont for your work.
thats a beautiful headstone of the murdered girl
Pure artwork
Gary Corbin I agree. It helps to keep the memory alive of this beautiful girl, whose life was cut short by a piece of human garbage.

Yes, the most beautiful, headstone, I have every seen, but it would be even better, if it had never happen.

Thank You Lamont for doing research and telling people’s stories of their life and death~💕🌻
The saddest thing is that this happens to often to women
✨✨Rest in peace ✨✨
Wow I'm surprised you didn't say "men are victims too, not just women" thank you for acknowledging the statistics.
These videos make me respect my life more than any therapist ever has. Thank you Lamont.
As a professional that has seen mental health issues and abuse as well as experienced it firsthand, I really wish that we had better education and interventions in our country. Maybe starting in schools, teaching more about what abuse is or checking on the mental health of kids...I don't know. Our country is so broken.
@Marty Bass also this is a piss poor job of trolling
Agree it's not going away like magic! They are dangerous, they kill people!
Humans themselves are broken. That’s why we have these problems.
Thank you! As a Pittsburgher I remember most of these cases you spoke of. So sad. Thank you for paying your respects
I appreciate the obvious time, effort and compassion you put into all of your videos...keep up the hard wirk
Lamont thank you for all your videos!!! You are a blessing!!
RIP Alina.
I’m so sorry for your loss 😢
I'm so sorry. What an awful thing. Hopefully though you have lots of beautiful memories of her that helps get you through.
I absolutely agree😢😢
Beautiful stone for Alina Sheykhet, sad sad story behind it
Lori and the fact that she still kept on saying , she loves him so much ....
The first time a man hits you LEAVE! I was a victim, now a Surviver! Wreaks, beatings, he told somebody to tell me he was going to kill me. Left it on a ans.mac. The judge handled it.
I'm proud of you. I'm happy you got out of that hellhole.
How is your life so far?

Rest in peace Alina . I went to grade school with her. She was so nice, she did not deserve that.

I think it’s awesome you do this. So many forget the dead. I’m the same in a cemetery looking at their stones wondering about their stories.
Thank you for coming to Pennsylvania. Much appreciated for all you do Lamont 😁
Sad deaths ..may she rest in peace ..stay safe Lamont be careful out there ..
I live just outside of Pittsburgh and am very familiar with this area as well as the tragic story of this beautiful young woman's murder.
Her murder was headline news here.
I remember just feeling so heartbroken for her family, as I had twins the same age at the time. I can not imagine the grief they are enduring.
Thank you for having this unique content on your page, it keeps the memories of lost loved ones alive and in their hearts and minds!
Hi Lamont hope your doing ok. I watch your videos all the time. I feel your doing a good thing keeping all these people memories alive. Thank you & keep on keeping on 😊👍❤
Love lamont 😊❤✌
Thank you for your words about abuse..both my husband and I come from homes where our Moms were abused by our Fathers. My MIL years after the abuse almost died from a brain aneurysm from the beating she went through.
Both my parents did as well.
I have subscribed! I like the tone and the sound of your voice in particular. Thank you for giving your subscribers the background or story line of each individual you feature. I understand you cannot always do this but it is appreciated. I wish you continued success!
Lamont always talks sense. I'm pretty new to the channel and watching from the UK. I like how Lamont tells us a little background story and has quite a relaxing voice. X
Sadly, an Order for Protection is a piece of paper not a suit of armor.
Get a gun!
Yes! Very sad her gravesite is beautiful the cops down here in pgh dont care unless you are practically dead.
@@sueannstewart5821 Wow! Why didn't we think of that? I thought we should teach our sons to not treat people like trash. But nope. We should let them treat their partner like trash so we can shoot them.
Been in an abusive relationship. A few exes were very abusive and controlling. I nearly committed suicide. Its true it never gets better. Get out as soon as you can and call your family and police.
Yes the men here are disrespectful but won’t hit men
If you are being abused, that is not love. Thank you Lamont.Love you for your truthful and kind words!
I was dating Alina at the time she was killed, her death was very very hard to deal with, glad you bringing attention to her story.
Sorry for your loss I hope you are healing from this
I hope you found some sort of closure, that was too traumatic for you I guess❤
Thank you as always Lamont for all your videos. So many lives taken sadly becareful out there be safe. 🙏👋
It might be morbid but I love watching Lamont I can feel that he’s telling and showing us these graves and stories he really cares about what has happened to them and when I just watched him in Az at the grave with the 3 babies pictures on the headstone and I know that he will not stop till he gets their headstone cleaned I live in Independence Mo and we have some places here that are interesting I just have one thing to say to Lamont is to keep doing what you’re doing because I know I’m not alone in loving to watch your videos
I really respect that you have told the story of " regular everyday" people thankyou for that you are the real deal Lamont
Thank you for the great content. I really appreciate how well informed and respectful you are.
Thank you Lamont . You bring comfort to so many. God Bless you dear heart. ✌🏼🙏🏼
Careful with your heart ladies! Can't go around falling in "love" with just any fool.
Amen to that🙌🏾💯
I know I've learned from a past experience where I ended up going thru abuse and had to get a PFA. It was the scariest time.
Man or Women, both can be insane, my best friend was stabbed to death by his girlfriend, and I had another friend shot by her boyfriend.
@@jacockistitsworth9392 yes it definitely goes both ways for sure. We all need to remember that.
@@jacockistitsworth9392 agreed, I am beyond glad I am not in any sort of relationship now. I was in a few toxic relationships in my life. No more of that.
Heartbreaking stories of such beautiful young people. Thanx as always Lamont for your time to share their stories with us. I make the same comment each time, but each time l do mean thanx for all you do. You are a wonderful remarkable person, love you like a son. Be careful be safe.
I literally take my grandchildren on cemetery tours and learn history of the individuals. Thanx for sharing
Thank you I was having a bad night and watched this video and you went right by my grandfather's grave and his wife! Thank you I have always loved this cemetery! My fiance dad got married in this cemetery only thing that's kinda odd. But it's quite a beautiful video thank youn

Alina was my friend 💜 her headstone is so beautiful.

Awe my condolence it is beautiful
Lamont you are truly blessed for doing this work you do
This gets harder and harder to watch with so many young people dying far too soon... many murdered senselessly, die of illnesses or suffer some other ill-gotten fate that takes them from this world.
When you lose a love one. Life is not the same.
Beautiful headstones and the chimes on the trees that’s something 🌿🌼✨
My daughter grew up with Tyron,I remember this like it was yesterday. My daughter was so hurt when this happened

So sad and may they all rest in peace I had friend when I was in high school. She was in the High School Band and some reason she didn't come to school so I asked my other friend and she told me she killed herself with a shotgun and when we graduated from High School in 2000 we had a empty seat for her and some other students and I miss her so much.
I’m really sorry about the loss of your friend and I know a loss by suicide makes it much harder. I have lost people to suicide and I still wonder why. May your friend Rest In Peace 🕊.
