I agree.... If not for GV and Sue we would never know. It's fascinating to see the coffins in various stages of decomposition as well as the skeletons. Death is a dirty business ❤❤❤❤ much respect.
I just love how you and Sue take the time on your channels to take a peek inside. I don’t feel they mind as no one has come to remember them in a long time. So many just walk around which is ok but not as interesting.
It certainly looks like it was laid out a bit eccentrically, and it looks challenging to walk around in, but it's still fascinating to see. If it is still open for new burials, I wonder how in the world they would get in there to do it. Still, the very horrible thing to see are those poor skeletons just lying around like they were just tossed aside. It just makes me feel mostly sad. Thank you for all your efforts to get around and show us this old cemetery.
Wonderful old graveyard. I can't get over the coffin shape of it from an aerial view. As always GV, ty so much for taking us along on your adventures! xx
Thank you for your nice commentary. Those poor lonely graves! RIP all the souls. What a pity so many of the coffins are broken. Stay safe and keep well. Zora in Australia.
Some of these families spent some serious money for these vaults and mausoleum to let them get so run down. Obviously they don't come to visit anymore. Shows that nothing is permanent.
I agree. I recall a very old headstone/monument that was topped with a beautiful urn (may have been marble) and the inscription was what got me. It was obvious that she was someones wife and I spent hours researching it, to no avail. It was very obvious someone loved her very much. It was extremely endearing and sad.
Once again GV another sterling presentation , yes it looks like some people had money back then to erect these Mausoleums as it would be very expensive in those days to have a headstone let alone Mausoleum, where I live in the midlands a lot of old graves are only recognised by a large rock or very basic slab such was the poverty then
Hey G.V and Sue, I have never seen a coffin shaped cemetery. A lot of slate and rock, some Mausoleums and crypts are gorgeous!!! I Love the Celtic crosses!!! This was a cool find! God Bless You Guy's!!!
Awesome find GV! It's so quiet and desolate, open to the torments of mother nature, but what a view. Glad you had your wellies on, lol! Thank you, Deb of Oz XXX.
Unlike most in the comments I found this one beautiful and very peaceful, unusual shape though. Hoping to visit county Clare next year, as I was named after it I thought I'd better. Great video GV thank you ❤
This is one rough looking place. When a vault starts looking like a compost pit maybe it's time to remove the lead and fill it in. Not the safest looking place in the world to walk around in. To me some aspects of this place look rather nasty. It seems a very good example of how not to look after a historic site. Just my opinion but the place looks sad.
I agree. Its not up to GV. It’s up to the families. Many families might be gone. GV’s coverage of these places, I hope will inspire families and communities to bring them up to a decent standard.
GV- what a unique grouping of “crypts”- set on a hill - surrounded by nothing but fields!! I wonder what the thinking was when they built these? It is sad to see the coffins disintegrated and the bones of the dead laying out inside each family crypt-but we must remember what it says in the Bible-“ashes to ashes-dust to dust”. We are enjoying your tours of these cemeteries- greetings from Virginia, USA!
I just read some of your comments……I have to add that I don’t feel like most people concerning the skeletons & remains. The vaults will surely last longer but if the body is put inside a wooden box …..it will not stand the test of time. I believe that all things must pass including your earthly body. Your videos has helped me understand how we all die & how we all eventually end up part of the earth…. I’m not a religious person just someone who believes the earth will eventually win……not us…..♥️
How crazy to see open coffins and skeletons. Never seen anything like it in America. Fascinating. And I love all the bird songs in your videos. Not too many in this one though. Very remote. Birds seem to love cemeteries.
There are you tubers in the USA that have channels that show very run down cemeteries with opened coffins and the contents if there is anything left. The grounds are usually very overgrown nobody caring for them, very, very sad. Sue and her partner have the very best vids , so interesting and I am so thankful for them taking us along. So peaceful and beautiful places. 💕💕🦋 from 🇨🇦
That’s the most unusual cemetery I’ve ever seen. I wonder what made them cram all the graves into a coffin shape? The setting has a real Wuthering Heights vibe.
How interesting that you have a fear of death ( which I think is very common) and yet you are very brave going into cemeteries and graveyards in many countries. Kudos to you for your bravery and thank you to you and Sue for taking us along on your adventures! ❤ How unfortunate the condition of the bodies in their vaults...very sad 😔
It appears like VERY few people visit this graveyard!! It could do with a good spruce up!! The area looks VERY scenic and rural too!! Thanks for sharing this gem with us, GV!! XXXX 👍🤗💞👏❤
That’s definitely a first….. a coffin shaped graveyard G.V yav gotta love the Irish for their sense of humour, even in death. Great video. That’s definitely a quintessential spooky graveyard on a hill.
Never would have guessed that is a fear of yours. It happens to us all, so I don't understand that. What I fear is the pain that might be associated with it.😮
Fascinating as always! Its our nature to fear the unknown, and death is the great unknown. While we have life we live it, to see, feel and experience the world we live in with the people we love. We are, we were, we were meant to be. Love from Connecticut❤
You and Sue are without doubt the most respectful couple that does these cemetery visits for TH-cam. Tank you for your videos as they give us a glimpse into the past. It is sad to see how the coffins disintegrate over decades but we all return to dust back into the earth eventually. Watching from County Antrim Julie ☘️
This is definitely the most unusual cemetery I’ve seen. Reminds me of those “giant white horses” on hillsides which are only visible from the air. Somehow this cemetery has a strange feeling to it
That's another really interesting graveyard. Thanks guys. It seems so strange that those first vaults you looked at have their entrances right out into the field, rather than within the graveyard area though.
I absolutely love watching your videos. This cemetery is very old. Just puzzled that it's in the middle of nowhere keep up the good work serenity sue can't remember the guys name ❤
Holy souls day today. I’m really scared of dying as well GV but I still love watching you and Sues videos mad isn’t it. But I definitely won’t be being buried. That’s a very strange cemetery. Very creepy.
thanks GV Sue I wonder if we could see the quick time decay what surprises that would bring, I say that as some of the coffins seem so far from where they started ie was it natural or was it graverobbing or something ....
The first door You looked thru with round holes scared the daylights out of me because at first looked like a face, lol You sure have a beautiful country. Hopefully, someday, I can visit
Great adventure! Such worn down tombs/ family vaults. It must have been very difficult to make the graves with being on a slope of that hill. Wonder if they could have done it with horse and carts. Lugging those stones would have been difficult to say the least. Very interesting that the shape of this cemetery is that of a coffin, which in reality can only be seen from the air. Alright GV and Sue this was a cool video, God bless you both.
Rare cemetery it looks like a field and everything was flung out off an aeroplane ,and wherever it landed so be it.I wouldn't fancy walking around there in the middle of the night. It did give me weird vibes. But nevertheless very interesting GV .😊 xx
I love seeing all those Irish names and you pronouncing them, lets hope the old country stays that way, my mother was Irish, her maiden name was Broaders she came from Wexford, eleven in the family, far as i know all the siblings have past on incuding my late ma.
Just the idea of seeing the bones under gravestones in a cemetery gives me the creeps. I recently visited a cemetery in Brussels where some tombs had collapsed but no remains could be seen. I live in Germany and here such types of burial have been banned for so long that even the few crypts that date back to the time before the ban should no longer have any visible remains. (I believe crypt burial is only permitted for urns with ashes, but im no expert for that.) I don't want to decide whether this is a good bad thing because in the neighboring countries like Belgium there are really impressive tombs but I find it strange to be able to see the remains when there is no one left to look after them.

Its really a lovely syrange place
True. Social Media has its very dark side but used like this it’s just wow!
I thank GV, not youtube!
Interesting place. Sad to see so many coffins broken apart. May they RIP. Thank you GV and Sue!!
That’s one very strange graveyard and in a very bleak location. Not a place to wander around at night . Another great video thanks for sharing 👍
RIP to all. On this day of the Holy Souls, may perpetual light surround them. May they rest in peace.😢🎉

Intriguing little cemetery, it’s picturesque and in a beautiful, lonely-looking location

Thanks GV! I found the shape of the cemetery very interesting. Very cool :)

Pain when dying can be mitigated with medication. So, no pain, just a peaceful passing its called Comfort Care where I work at a hospital in Colorado.

Said it before County Clare NEVER disappoints..This was a brilliant find GV and I love the older cemetery's..I give this a 10 out of 10..Loved it 😘
So sad to see the graveyard in such bad condition.
Had no idea that existed. amazing.
Very strange ! I wouldn’t go there alone! Just something about this place. Thanks GV
Just love your voice! Interesting place too. I love graveyards, thanks for sharing! 💋
Yes GV has a wonderful voice! Should narrated audio books.
Very lonely isolated feel to this cemetery, all the crypts clusterd together in the middle of the country side . Thanks for the look around gv 😊
Thanks for showing us interesting graveyard and have a great week.
Amazing place. Sort of in the middle of nowhere. I enjoyed it very much so thank you GV!
Every thing is quite odd.

Weird. All the vaults in the middle of a field! A great advertisement for cremation.
Weirdest one I’ve ever seen.
The lock serves no purpose on that ring. In some cultures a lock placed on the bones of the dead was supposed to prevent them from coming back.
I do not fear death, what I fear is dying painfully. Once you're dead, it's over. In my lifetime of 57 years, I've watched many people die in front of me. As a child, my grandmother (who raised me) worked in a nursing home. I visited there often, and the patients were delighted by me being there. However, some would just expire while I was talking to them. I kinda got used to it at a young age. In my 30s, my first wife lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer, and I held her hand as she took her final breath. That one broke me. Less than a decade later, my grandmother also died in front of me. I was remarried by this time, so at least I wasn't left completely alone. I can't even count the number of people I've seen go. But I don't fear death, because of that. I only fear dying a painful death.
My Grandfather died in front of me when I was 13 years old
I just wanna go like my great grandma on my mom's side in the middle of the night with a smile on her face.
My ancestors come from Clare, would love to visit the cemeteries and historical churches.
Hi again GV hope you're well and in good form today how you find these old cemeteries it's mined boggling it's so interesting
