I was surprised to see none of the “council’s dilemma” cards in here, but i assume thats because all or most all of them are more expensive. Theres also the friend/foe style cards that have you making the choices.
I have a very similar deck I call my Audience Participation deck. Kenrith at the helm instead of Garth. Some of what I run in it are the whole cycle of Demonstrate spells, Diochan Artful Beauty, Master of Ceremonies and, the card that inspired me to make the deck Druid of Purification.

Maybe I missed it, what is the win con of this deck? I can’t see a way to clinch a win. Seems like the deck mainly just forces people to make choices but none of those choices are of very much consequence other than to allow you some board or hand advantage, but how do you swing any of that advantage towards a win? Hope that question doesn’t come off harsh. Huge fan of the channel.

That sounds well and good but, unless they're at 1 life wouldn't they just pick 1? Since they can choose not to sacrifice and only lose 1 life. Like the idea but I think the execution of the card needed work (like "any number 10 or greater" and instead it would be "sacrifice that many permanents or they lose that much life" Maybe 10 is too high? 6 to equal the cmc? Idk... Either that or let you choose the number, with some heavier restrictions...like a number less than target opponents life total
@@Jaknife101 its sacrifice ALL BUT that many permanents or lose that much life, if they pick 1, they only pick one permanent to keep and sacrifice the rest.
@@KBgamer2010 okay, after looking at the card. It says you get to choose, not your opponent. The only thing they pick is the number. That makes it more fun and better for sure. From your description it read that the opponent got to choose either life or sacrifice, sorry.
If I were to ever just straight buy a whole deck of someone else's design, this would be the one. That would be unventured territory in my 20 years of Magic. It will be so fun to see my friends handle this. I need to think about it, it's pretty disconnected from the rest of my collection.
I bought this deck and I'm going to run it as a primer to getting back to the political side of the game. Right now my pod is really poor at playing politics in general. One player is a pretty traditional 1v1 player, one is lulsorandum and plays fairly chaotically, and the other has been burned too many times trying to make deals with the lulsorandum player.
I love idea of this deck. Such unique gameplay. The win condition has always been an issue with these kind of decks. Combo is the only way to go, I guess? Saying that, Breena works players off each other into a winning situation. So maybe this can too?
