Carnage was always terrifying, but this one takes the 1st prize, he killed without dropping puns or saying weird things, just weird sounds, silence and a lot of action, I really loved it! But those end credits tho... 😳
The best details I like about carnage are as followed 1: this carnage was designed with muscle, blood, and bone as material to work with. What I mean by that is that the symbiotes in these movies use different materials as a base. Venom is oil while Riot was liquid metal. While the symbiotes in comics and cartoons are all liquids. 2: if you look closely carnage and Cletus were one. Instead of being two separate bodies. Cletus and Carnage were completely fused. Venom and riot wrap around their hosts while carnage doesn't. When he's getting shot at his entire mid section is pulled apart to let the bullets pass through. Venom can't do that with Eddie bc his mechanic is different. And the spikes. Clearly made out of Cletus' back bones. Which I love

Also there is a scene from Andrew’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 where he is walking down a hallway in Oscorp with objects that were supposed to set up future Garfield movies; one of the objects was the venom symbiote. If this venom is in the hive mind to, then that connects Garfields universe to the MCU. I liked Venom 2, I also like comic movies deviating from the comics; but still I think Sony has gone a little to far, fundamentally changing venoms character mostly for the worse. I also agree Venom should upgrade from its PG13 rating.
I love how they are setting this relationship up between Eddie and Brock. Id love it even more if they just let them eat bad guys like the original movie set up. Then boom, Gray character. He is killing bad guys, but he is still KILLING. That enough should make him a menacing hero. He is not only going after bad guys, but hes killing them.
People overblow how Sony has changed the character. Venom in the comics was always a goofball, and Venom hasn't been a villain for most of his existence. Him and Spidey have been allies and friends for years
Venom didn't cause him to teleport to the mcu, he was as confused as Eddie, when that happened. He was gonna teach Eddie one of his knowledge of the universe lessons, but the teleportation to the mcu interrupted him.
It was Dr. Strange. That's more than likely how the members of the sinister six appeared in Toms universe. They were simply transported instead of being sucked in through a portal like in Spiderverse. Got a little Re: Zero reference with that one. One minute you're coming out of a convenient store. Next thing you know you're in a fantasy world style market place. Real subtle yet mind blowing.
Wait you know how every MCU Spiderman ends with a “WTF!?!” What if Venom comes at the end of No Way Home, right by Tom Holland’s Spiderman and Peter then says “WTF?!?” Leaving the movie off with a cliff hanger (sure I would want Venom to say some phrases too, like maybe him mocking Peter bye calling him little spider 🕷 or something).
It'll be so fun if Peter thinks he was won and is like "Alright we did it. All the villains are back in their own universe and Beck never revealed my identity so no one else knows who I am here any more." Then Venom shows up like "Hello Peter."
Watched Venom 2 yesterday and oh boy what a film. The action as expected was great, especially Venom vs Carnage. The interactions between Eddie and Venom were nice and Harrelson's portrayal as Cletus stole the show. I am dissatisfied that he was killed off especially because Carnage is such a beloved Spidey/Venom villain. But overall a fun and enjoyable Buddy film, 8/10 better than the first one. And oh yeah the end credits scene, when I saw Venom get transported to the MCU and I saw the TV broadcast my inner fanboy was going crazy.
Maybe Cletus will be revived or returned when Doctor Strange & Spider-Man fuck up the spell. At the end seeing the snap gives me hope that he will return just how doc ock and goblin and others are returning. We definitely could see him return
Personally I really enjoyed this movie even without the fantastic end credits scene. My theory is that since Eddie and venom agreed to only eat bad guys the news is showing Peter Parker aka Spider-Man as a “bad guy” so that’s how I believe they’ll set that up
thats my thought as well. some are going into a super detailed, deep explanation as to why they fight, but I think it'll just be as simple as, "he's a bad guy, i will eat his brains" they fight, he realises spiderman isn't the bad guy, they team up with the other spidermen and fight the sinister six. also, could be how venom gets the spider symbol on his chest. the group of spidermen form up, he joins them, looks at them, then he creates the symbol like its the team jersey logo.
So Venom just remembered what happened in Spiderman 3 where Tobey maquire kill Venom in it. If we closely look at the expression of Eddie Brock he's still in confusion what's going on but Venom directly went towards the TV after he saw spider man. I'm 100% sure he remembered every thing what happened in Spiderman 3. That's why Venom Said 'That Guy' in ending

I was so happy to finally see carnage on the big screen he’s been my favourite villain ever , especially because of how amazing he is in the comics . I would definitely like to see him again in some way . I would also love to have the carnage giveaway.
My theory is that since Peter messed with the spell in the No Way Home trailer by telling strange to let some people keep the knowledge of him being Spider-Man, Dr Strange accidentally brings everyone outside of the mcu who knows that Peter is Spider-Man. And if you watch the end credit scene and listen, Venom says that his species can do things that Eddie can’t even comprehend, and my theory is that they can remember things that other versions of themselves experienced, and since the version of Venom in Spider-Man 3 knew that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, New Venom knows that too, and since he knows, Dr Strange would have accidentally brought him in too🔥💪
I think Cletus will return. I mean, he has died, alot, and still comes back. Also, he was able to regenerate his head in the comics, so why not in the movies? He might have some Carnage symbiote left in his body, while he was separated. Also, he also become carnage, again, when the doctors did a blood test. Carnage has like crazy regeneration abilities, almost like Hulk, or Deadpool.

This movie was amazing, the jokes were good, the action was better than the first movie, the movie looked amazing, and the characters were great. My only complaint is I wish it was a little slower since the pacing was really fast like I wish the movie was an extra 20-30 minutes maybe but that might just be me. I would love to be entered in the giveaway the Funko pops are so cool!

I have so many my number one favorite part was when Carnage first showed up!!! Eddie and venom's fight in the apartment was hilarious . The ultimate showdown between the two and hearing Carnage say his catchphrase was awesome venom going to a nightclub was also as well and those were some of my favorite parts of the movie.

I'm so excited for the future of the Spider-man universe, it's all connected now, what a time to be a fan, I would like to be entered for carnage please.
I loved the film, loved Carnage, loved how it felt funnier, loved the end credits scene, loved all of it. I liked the Cletus X Shriek stuff because, while in the comics they met as adults, there was some love there, especially in "Deadpool vs. Carnage" and "Absolute Carnage" in case you've only heard about their relationship in "Maximum Carnage". The tornado thing seemed new, but also fun. Also, his hacking skills is are somewhat in the comics as well since, back in the days of internet through phone lines, he was able to send the symbiote through the phone line to kill people. He also is known to grow after eating food/meat as shown in "Carnage USA" where he grew big enough to infect a whole town. I think Venom could be the 6th member, but only because Venom thinks that this is the guy who hurt one of his kind before (I'm guessing the symbiote hive mind is able to travel across the multiverse), after some stuff gets cleared up he could switch sides, maybe he bonds with a Peter, but that'll probably mostly be so that we can see Tom Hardy Venom with the spider on his chest. Also, this Wednesday, Oct 6, the first issue of the "Willy's Wonderland" prequel comes out, so find out where your nearest comic book store is for that.
This movie was good till the killed Cletus. Won’t be getting maximum carnage anytime soon😔but this was far more comic accurate than I expected which was good :)

I loved the end credit scene, but does raise questions. Mainly, who summoned Venom? The broadcast is the one from the end of FFH, and NWH takes place weeks after. Strange cast the spell later than the reveal. Is it gonna be a spiderverse thing where they all arrive at different times?

@@JesterDude36 It’s highly likely that Holland will get another trilogy, the rumoured “college” trilogy and a trilogy afterwards that focuses on an adult Spider-Man. I can imagine them doing a Venom vs Spider-Man (BVS style of film) rather than a Spider-Man 4 or Venom 3. Ideally I would love for the MCU to adapt the black suit storyline for the forth movie (as a Part 1) and then transitioning to a Spider-Man vs Venom film or Venom 3. (as a Part 2). Convoluted I know but I hope they adapt a good black-suit storyline for a full movie rather than just half of it. Just my two cents there.
Absolutely loved Carnage and the visuals. However, kinda disappointed they killed off carnage n I think they could’ve gone with a more mature tone. End scene had me very intrigued to say the least, super hyped to see what they do with it. Overall I was really entertained. 7.5/10 I’d also love a chance at one of those pops. Venom let there be carnage spoiler: after the end credits something happens around venom and Eddie where alternate reality is changed where venom knows this spiderman instead of the old spiderman we know, thus NO WAY HOME Comes in where in the trailer doc oct green goblin etc come to into play and maybe alternate spider MEN? Oh yeah when that happens Venom sees spiderman on the TV, the new spiderman, not the toby maguire we know. sooooo it not only affected spidermans home town but I think the whole planet. which is also why maybe doc oct, green goblin, etc. Recognizes the new spiderman and not the old one! Just my theory of course. I put a lot of thought into it
I absolutely loved the film, even though Iam late, but that's because Iam in Australia and it released on November 25th, almost two months later but It has to be one of my favourite movies of 2021 or even all time, I like Godzilla Vs Kong because its my favourite but Venom 2 definitely is in my top 5. Loved the film and was pleased with what happened, my only problem with Venom 2 is that it feels way to quick and short I wish it was longer, it shouldve been a 2 hour film, but still loved it.

I unfortunately have to agree. Woody harrelson did on awesome job and Carnage looked beautiful on screen, but it felt rushed. I was hoping we’d get to see him, Venom and Spider-Man all in the same movie, have Venom and Spidey forced to team up against Carnage. That’s what made him significant in the comics. Because he was far too strong for one or even two people to handle alone. Hopefully I’m wrong and they might bring him back, but it doesn’t seem likely that that’ll happen.
My biggest concern for carnage that they were going to make him this mindless or animalistic killing machine with Cletus being the sole voice. Like every time Carnage spoke Cletus would need to pop out. But they not only gave him a voice they gave him intelligence. The first time I heard him speak I was like "WAS THAT CARNAGE?!" I was so happy to hear him talk! Bc the last time I saw carnage in a cartoon he was this crazy animal hell bent on destruction. Just a simple minded animal. That's it. Huge 180 from his 1995 cartoon counterpart. And although he didn't have that high pitched psycho voice. The deep voice was very good.

Carnage has always been one of my fav villains in MARVEL! And Cletus Kassidy is so tragically we’ll written. This brought my dreams of seeing carnage to life. (And that POP would bring that dream to my nerd shelf haha)

the symbiote never died in the Tobey Maguire universe it just got away so this venom might recognize Tom Holland Spider-Man as Tobey Maguire Spider-Man
Pretty sure this also confirmed that venom is part of the Andrew Garfield universe and was sucked from it and put into Toms world since Tobeys villains are there and obviously venom will be one of Andrews.
The reason why venom will want to find and kill spiderman is bc he sees spidey as a bad guy since his face is all over the news and they’re calling him a killer. Venom wanted to eat brains all movie pretty much, that would make sense to why he licked the tv and said that guy. He’s an anti hero in the venom verse so seeing peter shown as a killer/bad guy will give venom a reason to hunt him down.
I think this reason to their battle is because while watching the T.V and Venom heard Jameson Call spider-man A “Menace” so he may think Spider-Man is a bad guy and try to hunt him down.
I saw the PlayStation exclusive look of carnage breaking out of prison/birth the day before it came out and can I just say I love what they did with Carnage's look.

Watched Venom 2 yesterday and oh boy what a film. The action as expected was great, especially Venom vs Carnage. The interactions between Eddie and Venom were nice and Harrelson's portrayal as Cletus stole the show. I am dissatisfied that he was killed off especially because Carnage is such a beloved Spidey/Venom villain. But overall a fun and enjoyable Buddy film, 8/10 better than the first one.
And oh yeah the end credits scene, when I saw Venom get transported to the MCU and I saw the TV broadcast my inner fanboy was going crazy.

Personally I really enjoyed this movie even without the fantastic end credits scene.
My theory is that since Eddie and venom agreed to only eat bad guys the news is showing Peter Parker aka Spider-Man as a “bad guy” so that’s how I believe they’ll set that up

thats my thought as well. some are going into a super detailed, deep explanation as to why they fight, but I think it'll just be as simple as, "he's a bad guy, i will eat his brains" they fight, he realises spiderman isn't the bad guy, they team up with the other spidermen and fight the sinister six.
also, could be how venom gets the spider symbol on his chest. the group of spidermen form up, he joins them, looks at them, then he creates the symbol like its the team jersey logo.

So Venom just remembered what happened in Spiderman 3 where Tobey maquire kill Venom in it. If we closely look at the expression of Eddie Brock he's still in confusion what's going on but Venom directly went towards the TV after he saw spider man. I'm 100% sure he remembered every thing what happened in Spiderman 3. That's why Venom Said 'That Guy' in ending

I was so happy to finally see carnage on the big screen he’s been my favourite villain ever , especially because of how amazing he is in the comics . I would definitely like to see him again in some way . I would also love to have the carnage giveaway.
My theory is that since Peter messed with the spell in the No Way Home trailer by telling strange to let some people keep the knowledge of him being Spider-Man, Dr Strange accidentally brings everyone outside of the mcu who knows that Peter is Spider-Man. And if you watch the end credit scene and listen, Venom says that his species can do things that Eddie can’t even comprehend, and my theory is that they can remember things that other versions of themselves experienced, and since the version of Venom in Spider-Man 3 knew that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, New Venom knows that too, and since he knows, Dr Strange would have accidentally brought him in too🔥💪

I think Cletus will return. I mean, he has died, alot, and still comes back. Also, he was able to regenerate his head in the comics, so why not in the movies? He might have some Carnage symbiote left in his body, while he was separated. Also, he also become carnage, again, when the doctors did a blood test. Carnage has like crazy regeneration abilities, almost like Hulk, or Deadpool.

This movie was amazing, the jokes were good, the action was better than the first movie, the movie looked amazing, and the characters were great. My only complaint is I wish it was a little slower since the pacing was really fast like I wish the movie was an extra 20-30 minutes maybe but that might just be me. I have so many my number one favorite part was when Carnage first showed up!!! Eddie and venom's fight in the apartment was hilarious . The ultimate showdown between the two and hearing Carnage say his catchphrase was awesome venom going to a nightclub was also as well and those were some of my favorite parts of the movie.

I'm so excited for the future of the Spider-man universe, it's all connected now, what a time to be a fan, I would like to be entered for carnage please.
I loved the film, loved Carnage, loved how it felt funnier, loved the end credits scene, loved all of it.
I liked the Cletus X Shriek stuff because, while in the comics they met as adults, there was some love there, especially in "Deadpool vs. Carnage" and "Absolute Carnage" in case you've only heard about their relationship in "Maximum Carnage".
The tornado thing seemed new, but also fun. Also, his hacking skills is are somewhat in the comics as well since, back in the days of internet through phone lines, he was able to send the symbiote through the phone line to kill people. He also is known to grow after eating food/meat as shown in "Carnage USA" where he grew big enough to infect a whole town.
I think Venom could be the 6th member, but only because Venom thinks that this is the guy who hurt one of his kind before (I'm guessing the symbiote hive mind is able to travel across the multiverse), after some stuff gets cleared up he could switch sides, maybe he bonds with a Peter, but that'll probably mostly be so that we can see Tom Hardy Venom with the spider on his chest.
Also, this Wednesday, Oct 6, the first issue of the "Willy's Wonderland" prequel comes out, so find out where your nearest comic book store is for that.

I loved the end credit scene, but does raise questions. Mainly, who summoned Venom? The broadcast is the one from the end of FFH, and NWH takes place weeks after. Strange cast the spell later than the reveal. Is it gonna be a spiderverse thing where they all arrive at different times?

@@JesterDude36 It’s highly likely that Holland will get another trilogy, the rumoured “college” trilogy and a trilogy afterwards that focuses on an adult Spider-Man. I can imagine them doing a Venom vs Spider-Man (BVS style of film) rather than a Spider-Man 4 or Venom 3. Ideally I would love for the MCU to adapt the black suit storyline for the forth movie (as a Part 1) and then transitioning to a Spider-Man vs Venom film or Venom 3. (as a Part 2). Convoluted I know but I hope they adapt a good black-suit storyline for a full movie rather than just half of it. Just my two cents there.

Absolutely loved Carnage and the visuals. However, kinda disappointed they killed off carnage n I think they could’ve gone with a more mature tone. End scene had me very intrigued to say the least, super hyped to see what they do with it. Overall I was really entertained. 7.5/10

Venom let there be carnage spoiler: after the end credits something happens around venom and Eddie where alternate reality is changed where venom knows this spiderman instead of the old spiderman we know, thus NO WAY HOME Comes in where in the trailer doc oct green goblin etc come to into play and maybe alternate spider MEN? Oh yeah when that happens Venom sees spiderman on the TV, the new spiderman, not the toby maguire we know. sooooo it not only affected spidermans home town but I think the whole planet. which is also why maybe doc oct, green goblin, etc. Recognizes the new spiderman and not the old one! Just my theory of course. I put a lot of thought into it

I absolutely loved the film, even though Iam late, but that's because Iam in Australia and it released on November 25th, almost two months later but It has to be one of my favourite movies of 2021 or even all time, I like Godzilla Vs Kong because its my favourite but Venom 2 definitely is in my top 5. Loved the film and was pleased with what happened, my only problem with Venom 2 is that it feels way to quick and short I wish it was longer, it shouldve been a 2 hour film, but still loved it.
I think since Venom absorbed Carnage maybe it’ll be more in line with bringing out the “bad” in their hosts

I was hoping we’d get to see him, Venom and Spider-Man all in the same movie, have Venom and Spidey forced to team up against Carnage. That’s what made him significant in the comics. Because he was far too strong for one or even two people to handle alone.
Hopefully I’m wrong and they might bring him back, but it doesn’t seem likely that that’ll happen.

My biggest concern for carnage that they were going to make him this mindless or animalistic killing machine with Cletus being the sole voice. Like every time Carnage spoke Cletus would need to pop out.
But they not only gave him a voice they gave him intelligence. The first time I heard him speak I was like "WAS THAT CARNAGE?!" I was so happy to hear him talk!
Bc the last time I saw carnage in a cartoon he was this crazy animal hell bent on destruction. Just a simple minded animal. That's it. Huge 180 from his 1995 cartoon counterpart.

Pretty sure this also confirmed that venom is part of the Andrew Garfield universe and was sucked from it and put into Toms world since Tobeys villains are there and obviously venom will be one of Andrews.
The reason why venom will want to find and kill spiderman is bc he sees spidey as a bad guy since his face is all over the news and they’re calling him a killer. Venom wanted to eat brains all movie pretty much, that would make sense to why he licked the tv and said that guy. He’s an anti hero in the venom verse so seeing peter shown as a killer/bad guy will give venom a reason to hunt him down.
I’m excited to see where they take mulligan from here after how they left him in the end
I think this reason to their battle is because while watching the T.V and Venom heard Jameson Call spider-man A “Menace” so he may think Spider-Man is a bad guy and try to hunt him down.
I saw the PlayStation exclusive look of carnage breaking out of prison/birth the day before it came out and can I just say I love what they did with Carnage's look.
