      Foster was always doing something like that to Dean. He had a way of getting Dean to laugh hysterically. In another roast, he referred to Dean as “Mr. Sinatra”.

    Foster Brooks was the only person in this whole series of Dean Martin Roasts who consistently destroyed the dais every time he appeared, especially Dean Martin. Always my favourite roaster. Thanks Mr. Brooks.

    His routine is less than six minutes, there isn't a single vulgar word, and he totally owns the stage. He has Don Rickles about to cry, he's laughing so hard, and the others on stage as well. Pure talent, class, and confidence.

      I've actually had the fortune of meeting Don Rickles once, many years ago at the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. It was his last performance after having done around 30 years there. Truly a class act. He was a pistol off stage as well as when he was on. He was the best at his style of comedy. Foster was in great company the night they roasted Don!

      It's mind-boggling when you think of all the comedy legends on the stage alone. I've noticed that there are some in attendance who are in the audience. I mean, wow! I see a very diverse table of people up there. In this day and age, when all people want to do is call each other racists, these people actually made fun of themselves and each other and laughed about it.

    What is so amazing about Foster Brooks is that he never breaks character. I don't think I have ever seen him crack a smile or laugh while in character doing his bit. When you have a room full of people laughing it's extremely difficult not to laugh at what you just said or did. He was definitely the tops at his game.

      Worst of all, someone says or does something even slightly offensive they have to apologize immediately to avoid being torn to pieces by the social media lynch mob or they are stripped of everything they ever built, earned or worked for all their lives.
      Although the so-called 'Social Justice Warriors' speak of equality for everyone, there's a great deal of narcissism involved;
      It's a great deal more about them than about those they're claim to champion.
      Let's not forget about how they're actively looking for excuses to be offended.
      What do you wanna bet that when it's finally _their_ turn on the chopping block, gallows, stake etc, they're gonna be screaming things like "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!!!!", "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT!!!!!!" or "I'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG!!!!!", the last one often said by angels of death after they're caught.
