- This weeks episode we travel north of Perth to experience Lancelin sand dunes and sandy cape in Western Australia.
We managed to stay away from being bogged but had to help to others get out the sand. We also have lunch at the lobster shack at Cervantes which is a must if passing by. We witness some epic sunsets Western Australia has to offer plus a beautiful scenic walk. Action packed in this weeks episode. hope you all enjoy

Pity it didn’t work out for you guy’s spending a couple of weeks exploring the SW, but looks like you really enjoying the trip north along the Windy Always coast and you would probably have seen the wind farms near Jurien which are there for very good reason.
WA is definitely a bit more expensive, but on a recent trip to Melbourne I was actually surprised that the difference was not as much as I remembered from about 10 yrs ago when going out for a feed etc.

The north I great and I think we are here a good time of year as it is windy bit not as bad as we tgiught it would be! Yeah the prices aren't terrible, as long as you are prepared to spend just a little bit more. If it an unreasonable price, we just dont buy it! Oh its been too long since we've been to Sandy Cape always a good time there, west is best for Sunsets if you continue up north more your going to have to make a Top 5 Sunset list 😊

Another great video guys, glad you enjoyed Lancelin , the park you were in is owned by friends of ours , who have just spend a Kings Ransom redeveloping.... I think you enjoyed some of the results...And I worked that area for 20 years in my time with Telecom/Telstra and had to drive north , through the dunes, to some remote services there in the Naval Gunnery range.......we may. or may not have spent some time sandboarding but we were being paid for it...haha..Enjoy your travels, stay safe....catch your next vid....Cheers
PS....unfortunately, everyone along that coast is subject to "Japanese Tourist Prices" when it comes to food and Accom generally because of its close proximity to Perth
😂😂😂 this had me laughing out loud..."we may or may not have been sandboarding"!! What an experience to work in that sort of environment. I am sure it was far more remote 20 years ago! The park was lovely. Your friends have done a great job and you can see that alot of effort and money has been invested. They jave a great location and I am sure they will do well. The team there are great as well.

guys if you are ever in the part of the West again do yourself a favour and have a day or two in this farm stay caravan park Willowbrook Farmstay Caravan park Gingin 38 bucks a night and 15 ks inland from the coast nice relaxing little stay
how did you mount your clock to the wall? I tried the fusionloc hook but it sticks out too much and those 3d sticky hooks from Bunnings just fall off when the van gets hot. Nice vid by the way, as usual I enjoyed watching it :) sue you should of tried for a staff discount!!

Thanks Phoenix, ahaha I like the name for the recovery business! It is so good to be able to help others when they are bogged. We did about 3 in 3 weeks here. Sand can be very soft! Yes can't get away from wind so have to make the most of it!
That was my dad that got bogged haha! He was very thankful for you guys helping him out, we told him he was pushing his limits but he didn’t listen lol!

Why Canmpedia instead of Wikicamps ??
We find that WikiCamps can be misleading and as far as I understand anyone can add locations etc to WikiCamps.
Campedia is more regulated and you can add locations but has to be approved. It seems to be more accurate

Unfortunately not as we couldn’t get dog sitters and we’re battling to get spots in caravan parks and was getting expensive so we moved on. We hope to be a bit more organised when we came back.

Hey Stephen 100% agree. I contacted the manufacturer and got a costing on a new board however the couple wouldn't accept it!

That was my sandboard. No drama at all! Just a pleasure to have the guys come through our town and use their channel to show off a bit of what Lancelin has to offer.
Your making the same mistake again as Shark Bay. Didn’t see everything Lancelin has to offer. Then drove straight past the Pinnacles Nat Park, went past Cervantes & the Lobster Shack. 🙄
Seems to be a common theme with you guys,- just seem to go to places for the shortest time & miss most of the things to do & see.
Then move on, it’s as tho you just want to say “oh yeah, we’ve been there” but you never actually saw or did much. 🙄
Think you need to learn to slow your roll & smell the roses more. My 2c

Unlike Shark Bay the visiting dolphins in Lancelin are free. 😉
There’s. Lookout near the north end hotel that overlooks the bay & Lancelin Island (where Leeman overnighted back in 1658, on his failed rescue mission looking for survivors of the 1656 Guilt Dragon shipwreck just off Ledge Point.
I think you could improve your channel a lot if you did better research ahead of time and stayed a little longer in each place.
Ohh I see you did back track to Cervantes Lobster Shack. 👍👍👍
