I think the scenario you went through is sadly all too common. And I’m glad you said that about it taking a long time (with life and new triggers-going through continual loss-sharing your kids).
I'm so sorry Stephanie for what you've been through. You are really smart and very beautiful, a wonderful person. I have experienced almost the same as you. My husband was leaving me around the time both of our children were born. Now the girls are grown, my husband cheated on me with two different women and now left me for another woman. Terrible situation, I have to pull myself together after 29 years of marriage. 😢💔 But I can do it. ❤
Trauma takes it's toll and you are allowed to grieve in those quiet moments from time to time. Women are more resilient than given credit for and yes you've got this. When you're having a weak moment, a triggering moment, agrieving moment, a sad moment, know that it's pArt of the process of letting go. It hurts but the pain will fade as you get stronger day by day 🕊️
Watching this mesmerizing video dredges up painful memories of the recent dissolution of my 4 year relationship. The departure of my beloved, the one I adore deeply, has left me in a perpetual state of longing. Despite my tireless attempts at reconciliation , I find myself mired in frustration, unable to shake the persistent thoughts of her. Despite my efforts to move forward , I'm compelled to share my inner turmoil and the overwhelming sense of missing her here .
Letting go of someone you love deeply presents a formidable challenge. I faced a comparable ordeal when my 6 year relationship ended. Refusing to succumb to despair, I relentlessly pursued avenues to reconcile with him. Ultimately, I sought solace and guidance from a spiritual counselor, whose intervention proved instrumental in restoring our connection.
Stephanie, you are wonderful. I stumbled on one of your videos a few years ago, and that was the first time I considered my wife was a narcissist. A few years and divorce later, I am more happy than I have ever been. I am so glad I got out of that dumpster before she set it on fire. Thanks!
Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing this video with us today. I feel you are more emotional today and only guess that experience is still painful to talk about. One important lesson I've learned on this healing journey is that it’s not a straight path; there will be days when we face setbacks. I agree with you that what we truly grieve is the person we hoped they would become. This has been a challenge for me even months after the relationship ended. As a man, I often find that we tend to hide our feelings instead of confronting them, but your videos have provided me with valuable insights for my own healing process. I appreciate everything you do. If you happen to read this, it would be great if you could discuss how men cope with breakups.
Stephanie from the bottom of my heart I wanna thank you for helping me in my journey with myself. I’m one year that I’ve stepped away from my narcissistic wife and have had left two other times during our 20 year marriage and finally had the strength to overcome and stay away. Your videos and your tragic experience and your encouragement And leadership in recovery and moving on has helped me like no other. And once again I just wanna thank you from the depth of my heart and I’m sorry that you went through what you went through but it was so you can educate us that are going through it now. Your pain is our gain in our pain ❤ and I love that you accidentally didn’t edit this video in time before you sent it out because it even shows how even more real you are!❤
I am so sorry that you've had to go through this and it inspires me to see how strong you are and willingness to pulled yourself back up ..your great, wonderful, sweet ,kind, loving, individual that deserves the best one day he's going to wish he'd never let you go 🙏🔥👑💖🌟💫✨
It's been three years.. I'm past the trauma bond. She called me last week from a new number. I was expecting a call, so I answered, and she said nothing. I felt a connection, she was listening, I knew it was her. I hung up, then she sent a couple texts telling me I need to get over my anger, she called again, and I declined the call. That was the forth hoover attempt in three years. I'm doing a little better each day. In the begining she was my first thought in the morning, and my last thought at sleep.. and every moment in between. It gets better, but I can take a lot of time depending on the length and dynamics of the relationship. One day you will look back and realize you are stronger today because the relationship. Still have bad days, but fewer and fewer over time.
It's so hard to heal when they hoover and you know it is just a matter of time. For me, each hoover brought on a more rapid discard...eventually he would hoover and discard within the span of the same day or evening. Couldn't go 24 hours without devaluing and then discarding me. I have finally blocked him. He moved away. I feel safe from a hoover right now and it feels very freeing.
I'm sorry you went through that. What helped me break the trauma bond is when I began to see that the person behind the mask is her true self. The mask was a figment of her imagination.. and of my imagination. That was hard to accept, but it is ultimately what freed me.
Thank you Steph, “sharing my kids and not part of the plan” 🎯 is what seemed like a part of the puzzle I was missing. Nice to hear it’s not just me 🙏🏾 The growth of oneself post discard is a crazy journey, but soooooo worth it 🦋
I’m a man (obviously) and still relate to this. I think one important thing is emotional regulation and understanding what’s happening chemically in your body when you are basically detoxing in no contact (or little contact if co-parenting). If it was truly a narcissist you were dealing with the relationship itself is a traumatic event and it takes longer to heal from than an ordinary relationship, and most people aren’t going to understand that aspect unless they’ve lived it themselves
I absolutely love your videos!! I’ve been watching for over a year and they truly help tremendously! Thank you so much for sharing your story and all your helpful advice!

I remember when I first had my son I also went for short walks around the block. My confidence as a new mum was low. I also was isolated with zero support. I had panic disorder before I had him and I was terrified it would return. I regained my confidence slowly with short outings. I definitely think moving slow with any goals are the way to achieve long standing achievement. Also, with healing from narcissistic abuse.
you ever meet someone who just has this natural vibe, like they’re on a different level? i found out most of my friends like that all read Magnetic Aura and they swear it’s not about pretending, just being real and not letting negativity drag you down. it’s wild how hard it is to get tho, keeps disappearing everywhere, but maybe that’s what makes it worth it
Aww is this the version you meant to post? Reminds me of a pre edited post. Either way I love how amazing you are and how human you are and how inspiring you are as well. Sometimes I feel at 44 while raising a 4 year old alone I don’t have the energy to change my financial situation. I’m in that apartment after leaving a beautiful home. Ryan has autism and I have my hands full. Do I go back to school?? So lost.
@ it really is!! And ironically perfect with the ending on the podcast. Before being so afraid of what people think or trying to be perfect which isn’t necessary. And there’s no need to be perfect. Brings us closer together anyway. Probably saying that wrong.
That was a different style. Hope you are OK - it was a little disconcerting at the start. However, what a very thoughtful and useful video. Made lots of notes which will help with discussions with my counsellor. A rich 36minutes - does it need to be published as a blogpost?
I am so sorry that you've had to go through this and it inspires plenty of people to rebuild themselves.Stephanie,ty for sharing this video with us today. I feel you are more emotional today and only guess that experience is still painful to talk about. As a self-aware diagnosed narcissist I'm sure on the last person you want to hear from but I'm so happy you're here educating people, as we are both content creators , this is a beautiful video and I love the fact you didn't put much editing into it , I know you're an inspiration to many people.
Discovering that I'd been dating a covert narcissist brought about a lot of self awareness and I naturally questioned where my mindset, lack of boundaries, low self worth etc came from. I never liked the whole 'playing the victim' thing as I had seen my mother do this so much in my life and it left a bad taste in my mouth. So I didn't waste time doing the same and complaining about the key influencers I had in my childhood who took out their insecurities on me so much and made me feel like that was acceptable behaviour. But I found myself suddenly very intolerant of those people's behaviour and when I experienced it after that I was quite vocal about calling it out. To be honest I went a bit too far in analysing the behaviour back to them in a verbal punch in the face. It's taken a while to regain some composure and empathy for these people. But I've noticed they've not behaved that way towards me since then. If they were able to reign it in so soon after I called them out it makes me wonder how voluntary their behaviour may have been in the past. They seemed so desperate and reactionary back then. Was it genuine upset or staged? Makes me wonder.
No victims here. Trauma sucks and causes damaged, agreed. My life has gotten much easier since they walked away. Had asked them to leave for 4-5 years, glad it finally fit their storyline. There is lose yes, however it hadn’t been healthy or kind for many years. There is more to my life than a partner that wouldn’t have a conversation that ever lead to resolution. Personally, I enjoy working through things and finding resolutions. That just rarely happened, because it was not desired and image and money was more important than me. A spade is a spade. Life goes on. I have little fear of finding a similar partner, the things I value are not traits people like this possess. Good person in their way, just not what I desire.
How do you do this????? One step forward, 5 steps back. I can't do this on my own. And I swear becoming off as a victim is not the intention. I genuinely don't know how to do any of this. And I hate it so much. If you've never been through anything like this, be thankful. It's pure hell.
The other woman will be watching this video , probably all of them. Only insecure women have affairs with married men. You can compare yourself all you want but she will always be beneath you simply for the fact that her and your ex husband are homewreckers, and you are not nor will ever be. So you can sleep at night knowing that and genuinely wish them the life they deserve and be happy with yourself! ♡

i thought Magnetic Aura was just another self-help trend till i saw how it’s lowkey transformed my friends-like they’re way more grounded, confident, and people just wanna be around them. it’s not fake or try-hard, they just seem real and magnetic now. it’s tricky to find tho, gets taken down quick, but worth hunting for
so my friends read this book called Magnetic Aura and they all started acting way more confident-one got a job they didn’t even apply for, another’s meeting all these amazing people who actually lift them up. it’s like something shifted in their vibe, not in a flashy way, just subtle and real. it’s wild tho, this book keeps getting removed so fast cuz it’s apparently too powerful-good luck finding it if you’re curious.
Thats comforting to hear that sometimes you have to take a srep back inorder to move forward. It can feel shameful to be in a situation of a failed committed relationship despite how hard you tried to make it work. It wasn't meant to be bcuz something even better awaits you 🤍 Let go and Let God lead you 🙏🏼🕊️
not gonna lie, i wasn’t into this whole “energy” stuff till my friend handed me Magnetic Aura-she wouldn’t shut up about it and now i see why, everyone i know who read it seems more chill and magnetic in this effortless way. it’s not a magic fix but it definitely hits different. finding a copy is a hustle tho, they don’t stick around long

Meet Suzanne Ann Walters, a renowned spiritual counselor acclaimed for her talent in bringing back ex-partners.
Thank you for this invaluable information; I've just checked her out online.
Been following you for years, you are a rare gem and inspirational!
Healing is tough. Today hasn't been easy. Hopefully, someday, I get to smile, from the heart.
