Just ran past this video. I like how you did the dovetail. I’m going to be doing the same thing on a 17’ gooseneck. I think you made this plenty strong and hey man, those ramps are always super heavy. Funny chit on the clutch no start. lol
I really appreciate the comment, I think for our trailer, we have two limiting factors, the axle rating and my Duramax's towing capacity. With the ramps, should of did 18" wide instead of 24". Would of saved some weight and steel money. Good luck with your dovetail, I found ours pretty straight forward.
Cool build I have watched it all😊 I’d like to see a 1” round bar as a pivot for the ramps. You could be able to move ramps in or out depending. Also those springs that help assist the ramp lifting are available Amazon and other places. I have a friend who needs a similar build, also would need the axels moved back. Anyhow, watching your series gives me more ideas.

Thanks for watching!!! appreciate the feedback, we'll look into it.
Nice addition to the trailer!! I would suggest making the ramps out of aluminum though so that they are lighter
That's a good idea, I SUCK at welding aluminum but I guess I can try.
@@goldies_garage Hey, they say practice makes perfect, right? You got it
Looks great and very well thought out! How many hours you guys think you have in total building this?
About 20 hours though out 4 days.
What is the total length of your ramp including the dove tail
9 Feet total, 4 for the dove tail and 5 for the ramps
Good fab but i dont think you will get a car on it
You are correct, this was intended to move trucks. We would need a lower trailer to move cars.
First, saved for the best, as per usual.
Nice job dude
First in the ppl hearts. its YA BOI coming at u live from Germany yeeee yeee
Better luck next time
