Never been a fan of DZ and PVP since DV1, your guides and your builds is the change that give me confidence to chase down manhunts and now I’m in to pvp entirely, so just wanna say a big thank you that your commitment to TH-cam has made some other man on the other side of earth enjoying his time in DZ like never before 😊
I've got a nearly identical version of this build that I've run for quite some time now. I decided to run survivalist for the healing seeker to proc companion for an extended period, and because fire nades help prevent folks from adsing. I miss that firewall armor kit but it is nice to apply that healing to group members when I kit up, and the healing seeker really sticks with you for a long while and keeps that companion up even when the group has to separate.
@@joshdavis5115 The Firewall armor kit talent heals 200% HP/Armor over 10 seconds. If you find cover and have enough time to slap that on then trade damage at normal AR range with someone who didn't apply that medkit, you'll likely win that trade (unless their DPS is far higher, e.g. Ouroboros at close range) because you basically have one more armor bar over the usual armor + unbreakable chest talent. Adding to that, Eagle Bearer and Catharsis can give you that extra push to survive the trade.
I sub'd some time ago as your content is awesome. Another thing i like is you show the build overview straight up/early in your clip (main character inventory, showing ALL pieces in the build) instead-of drip feeding the pieces one by one dragging out the whole build like many other creators do. Thank you for not doing that. I will instantly un-sub or dislike to any content creator that does that. There is absolutely no reason for them to showcase like that and it just waists our time. Thank you for all your hard work and time spent on Div2 content. Keep it up!
Can confirm this build works even at low expertise, I built the old version of this. The only thing I'd say that's hard to get (aside from EB) is the chest piece because you need to essentially get the perfect roll. This new version does loook easier since you can swap the blue and red core from the chest and gloves respectively, which seems like it would be easier to find drop-wise.
Great video and yes adding an extra WH piece does help getting damage. I have the same build. The other specialization you can use this build with is Gunner.
So just put this build together and FINALLY found a Fenris chest piece with Weapon Damage, Health and Crit Damange AND Unbreakable on it. Rolled the Weapon Damage to the full rip on Armor and now I have to hope at some point I can find a Fenris chest piece with ALL of the original specs that you had listed rather my temporary piece. But I do like this build and will enjoy giving it a run.

Gonna make this build finally, had the EB today drop in the DZ got it out luckily. I thought I need thousands of hours for it to drop but I don’t even have more than 100 hours in the Dark zone.
Can’t wait to build this for myself…..never have anyone to run with since I just started again on PC so we’ll see how soon I can get this done for some PvP fun!

Even though i doubt ill ever be able to get the Eagle Bearer due to not being able to do raids due to low SHD level, i love The Apartment SMG and keep it as my secondary.
This looks great, is it very viable currently still? (mostly solo) also what about using the tdi kard custom pistol for the skill tier to buff up the skills?
It's 100% still viable- this exact build is still my go-to in the DZ today! The TDI Kard is absolutely a solid pick in that slot, totally up to personal preference 👍
its funny, ive been using pretty much the same exact thing unbreakable with companion, same mask and holster and one piece of fenris but instead of the 2 walker and harris pieces im using a Ceska piece for the 10% crit chance and a piece of grupo with 15% crit dmg, there is a couple pieces that have 1 attribute that isnt right and im only at expertise 5 but it still shreds!! finally using my brain and using the loot table to get specific brands, hopefully i can get it maxed out like yours at some point!!
What if you ran the contractor’s gloves and W&H knee pads? The damage to targets out of cover is great, until the go into cover lol. Then you lose the damage all together, I also think it’s kind of buggy and the damage will randomly get canceled out even if they aren’t actually in cover. Then the damage to armor would be superior. Obviously when their armor is gone you have to get through health, but that’s basically non-existent anyway lol.
That's a great option as well! In my case I don't need extra damage against anyone sitting in cover, and with my playstyle people will exit cover by the time I'm ready to fire 99% of the time, so DTOOC applies for the vast majority of my fights. It also helps go through Invaded DZ NPC's faster, since it applies to Heavies and Robo-Dogs whereas DTA does not. But, all of these things are small differences and relatively unnoticeable. You'll do just fine with Contractors and W&H kneepads!
I have given up on DZ. No matter the build or tactics I still get melted and seem to do no damage. 1.5 armor with 56 crit chance and 207 damage I did no damage at all.... I must be missing something....

The EB is definitely not a requirement! Just a personal preference on my end. The FAMAS, Carbine-7, Police M4, and Honey Badger are all great high-end alternatives 👍

Optimist or Strained are both some top picks 👍 If by chance you have access to the Shield Splinterer Named F2000, that's one of the best high-end AR options
Is the 8% dmg to targets out of cover better than having 13% dmg to armor ? Why not run contractors gloves and swap fox prayer for WH knee pads, i typically am more of a rush style player i dont use cover as much.
Really it's just about what targets you're fighting. Any PVP fight with a "good" PVP player will mostly happen out of cover, so DTTOOC will be applied 100% of the time, whereas DTA stops applying during their health segment. Against NPC's in the DZ, if you rush them then they're going to jump out of cover, again making DTTOOC apply all of the time whereas DTA doesn't apply at all to targets like Warhounds, Heavies, etc.
I use this setup more solo than I do in a group, so I'd say it's totally viable! Never let anyone tell you what you "need" to run, Division is all about individuality and experimentation 😉 I don't think I've ever ran 2M armor in all of my time solo in the DZ
Once you get past a certain threshold I think it's hard to say what's "better." Different builds will work better in certain scenarios, depending on who's using them and how they're played! Both this build and the types you're referring to are very strong in PVP
Man I can’t get that fenris chest to roll with unbreakable and two red cores to save my life. Between countdown, control points, crafting and even legendary summit. Rng hates me I guess. Lol
@@calnus610 Damage To Targets Out Of Cover is exclusive to the Foxes Prayer Named Item, usually you can only get it on your weapon. It's a multiplicative damage type, and therefore is highly valuable as it spikes your damage output
I just found something, expertise is not gonna buff you up so much even in 23 level , cuz in armor all 6 piece 23 level , will give 140 thousand armor and because of that , its not worth that much of material to spend on so the only thing matter is your build and watch
The location of stats has no importance, only the total amount you're reaching. So you could have a Fenris chest with a damage core roll, and Walker gloves with an Armor core, and the effect would be the exact same. Hope this helps!

You can access the Conflict PVP mode from your mega map, it's a tab at the top left. You're unlikely to find any opponents at your level, however. The vast majority of the game's population is at Level 40

It worries me that after 3 years of not playing i still see the EB that i ran over 30 times and still hadnt got is still meta feel like im coming back to the same game
It's definitely not meta, I run it because I enjoy the feel of the gun so much, but you can easily match and surpass the EB's damage with other options. They nerfed its power a long time ago.
I mean nice build but brother the Catharsis, foxs and or contractors, picaros and walkers has been done over and over again. The one difference I see is the backpack talent. I'd def like to see something without any of those pieces. But cheers brother.
Yeah old as shit and playing with future healer. Here's one I like running: Ninja BP, one prov, one walker, one fenris, picaros, foxes. Technician, spotter, flatline. It's not a META spotter build but the extra little bits of handling you get from foxes and fenris are kinda nice and you get the 3 skill tiers so you can jam/EMP and it buffs your defender drone quite nicely. You can switch out the fenris (if it is chest piece) for the Closer if you like but that makes it better for PvE, PvP fights less so. Its still not exactly something new but I haven't seen anyone else run it, and it's pretty good! It would probably work OK as an unbreakable build (yawn) as well but coz of no BP talent it would feel a bit flat. I run my build at 1.5 but you'd probably have to drop it to 1.3 with unbreakable.

As long as ubisoft is not doing anything against the cheaters and hackers who can shoot through buildings and other solid objects it doesn't matter what kind of build you're making or running, you still die 😎
This might make me sound like a jerk, but pvp in this game just seems like face trading. I stink at it so I know there are skill gaps with builds, movement, and aim to an extent but it just seems like a test of who can hold their cursor over the opponents head the best.
@@RogueGold yeah because they need to do something about it for sure but a cap at 10 for pvp or cap a 5 would be good but the cap can be high in pve I hope they do it soon or before the new DLC so new players stop playing because of it SHD levels yeah same thing work for pve but pvp it’s capped
Picaro, contractor, foxes, fenris, ceska, grupo with vigalance is better than this, you dont depend on companion, and with my level 10 kingbreaker i hit over 250k crit headshots (Ive ran it with EB and its still stronger than this)
Plenty of builds can be stronger, all dependent on what stats you spec into and how your distributions are set. Build-making is all about what fits your playstyle the best, and this one works well for me!

A hasburg chest is easier to get and more dmg
Running with two red cores isn’t too bad to get this build since you can just go backpack / chest reds

I’ve been running pistols with skill tiers on all my pvp builds. Might help give the skills a tiny extra kick.

I would use saint elmos with the build and I would add one armor core to the gloves but besides that nice build

I use Companion solo! It procs off of skills, which is why I use the Explosive Seeker Mine and have it follow me around 👍

Is it worth it to invest expertise on gear pieces? I saw a video that only gives 100k extra armor as total on maxed expertise.
1 blue 5 red with expertise gets you to 1.1m
I'd say only on builds you're very sure you want to invest in/use. Otherwise guns get far more worth out of Expertise upgrades

There's no tricks I'm afraid, it's a tough piece to get. But the most efficient farm will be in Countdown, set your targeted loot to AR's. Good luck!

Man I can’t get that fenris chest to roll with unbreakable and two red cores to save my life. Between countdown, control points, crafting and even legendary summit. Rng hates me I guess. Lol

As long as you have it fully leveled up and AR damage is selected, that's all you need 👍

@@calnus610 Damage To Targets Out Of Cover is exclusive to the Foxes Prayer Named Item, usually you can only get it on your weapon. It's a multiplicative damage type, and therefore is highly valuable as it spikes your damage output

I just found something, expertise is not gonna buff you up so much even in 23 level , cuz in armor all 6 piece 23 level , will give 140 thousand armor and because of that , its not worth that much of material to spend on so the only thing matter is your build and watch
In PVP Expertise on weapons specifically makes a pretty noticeable difference. Armor less-so

its a very good build but it involves getting a perfect roll on the chest and that's near impossible.
The location of stats has no importance, only the total amount you're reaching. So you could have a Fenris chest with a damage core roll, and Walker gloves with an Armor core, and the effect would be the exact same. Hope this helps!

You can access the Conflict PVP mode from your mega map, it's a tab at the top left. You're unlikely to find any opponents at your level, however. The vast majority of the game's population is at Level 40

You shouldn't be discouraged! I appreciate the compliment. Truthfully, Division PVP is about both your build and gear, but a lot of skill goes into it as well- and it takes a lot of practice to master it. On lower difficulties it can be! The DZ's challenging level NPC's die plenty quickly. I think there are much better options for Heroic though

It worries me that after 3 years of not playing i still see the EB that i ran over 30 times and still hadnt got is still meta feel like im coming back to the same game
It's definitely not meta, I run it because I enjoy the feel of the gun so much, but you can easily match and surpass the EB's damage with other options. They nerfed its power a long time ago.

I mean nice build but brother the Catharsis, foxs and or contractors, picaros and walkers has been done over and over again. The one difference I see is the backpack talent. I'd def like to see something without any of those pieces. But cheers brother.
Sadly Picaro fox and contractors are too good, you’ll have less dog without them no matter what u do
Yeah old as shit and playing with future healer. Here's one I like running:
Ninja BP, one prov, one walker, one fenris, picaros, foxes. Technician, spotter, flatline. It's not a META spotter build but the extra little bits of handling you get from foxes and fenris are kinda nice and you get the 3 skill tiers so you can jam/EMP and it buffs your defender drone quite nicely. You can switch out the fenris (if it is chest piece) for the Closer if you like but that makes it better for PvE, PvP fights less so. Its still not exactly something new but I haven't seen anyone else run it, and it's pretty good! It would probably work OK as an unbreakable build (yawn) as well but coz of no BP talent it would feel a bit flat. I run my build at 1.5 but you'd probably have to drop it to 1.3 with unbreakable.

As long as ubisoft is not doing anything against the cheaters and hackers who can shoot through buildings and other solid objects it doesn't matter what kind of build you're making or running, you still die 😎
This might make me sound like a jerk, but pvp in this game just seems like face trading. I stink at it so I know there are skill gaps with builds, movement, and aim to an extent but it just seems like a test of who can hold their cursor over the opponents head the best.
Division 1 had a lot more nuance and player skill involved with PVP
Expertise should be capped at 10 in pvp it honesty ruins the game
another thing is health.
another tuber showed a player, name was blurred, who had well over 900K SHD level.
that's a lot of extra health.
The Devs are still contemplating removing it and/or SHD Levels in non-Invaded DZ's
@@RogueGold yeah because they need to do something about it for sure but a cap at 10 for pvp or cap a 5 would be good but the cap can be high in pve I hope they do it soon or before the new DLC so new players stop playing because of it
SHD levels yeah same thing work for pve but pvp it’s capped
Picaro, contractor, foxes, fenris, ceska, grupo with vigalance is better than this, you dont depend on companion, and with my level 10 kingbreaker i hit over 250k crit headshots
(Ive ran it with EB and its still stronger than this)
Plenty of builds can be stronger, all dependent on what stats you spec into and how your distributions are set. Build-making is all about what fits your playstyle the best, and this one works well for me!
