What an oddly specific event
Hang on a second Destiny, we should leave affirmative action at least partially in place so that we can allow people to compete where they can ? It's one thing to allow everyone a fair shot but when you start putting quotas in place nothing good comes from it. " "Let's have 50 % women in politics" but only represent 20 % of the Senate " this kind of thinking is illogical because politic is one sphere that is dominated by men, we could say the same about women for nursing and other medical field jobs in regards to men not being represented at 50 % but we also know for fact that men prefer STEM in general. The correct way to look at the representativity is to look at the pool of candidate, not the population itself.
For example, if we say that 10 % of CEOs are female but in the pool of people willing and capable of doing the job there is 1 woman for 39 men then statistically that 10 % is an overrepresentation.
Problem of affirmative action is that those laws stay there for much longer than needed to correct any unwanted past effect (Canada has an act stating women as a minority group for Governmental hiring, yet 55% of public servant are females which by any measure is an over representation but that act hasn't been modified in 25 years... surprise surprise), and it doesn't lead to better efficiency or competency but the exact opposite.
Any preferential treatment that goes beyond leveling the playing field has a negative impact. Women are given money to study in STEM but we don't have the opposite for men to study in female dominated fields, how's that ?

You life is only "over" when you have kids and are poor and/or a single parent. For wealthier families, traveling is pretty much always an option. Developing a business isn't much more difficult either. Going out and partying is easy when you can afford a babysitter or send them off to a sleepover or a relatives. I grew up with rich kids and their parents were living lives profoundly different from my own. I can't really think of anything a rich family can't do just because they have kids.

He comes home, we feel good together and kiss and stuff, we have sex, we watch some things and cuddle, and then we go to bed and repeat. He also buys me lots of stuff. I feel increadibly valued so it’s weird that people think it’d be otherwise.

Women have ADHD at the same rate as men do. Men get more often diagnosed, but they have it at the same rate
I think he was just trying to make a (rushed) point. I completely with you, though. As a woman with ADD, it took years and years for me to get diagnosed. Just the ways our bodies react determines the “diagnoses”. Both are attention deficit disorders but physically manifests differently. There’s literally no difference between adhd and ADD. It’s just harder to diagnose ADD because of the lack of physical signs. This is why females with ADD just deal with it undiagnosed while males showing physical signs get spotted rather quickly. Pretty fucked up
And I only say “suffer” because of the way the school system is set up. No one needs to be medicated if the system was set up differently.

My medication helps me do the things I want.
This seems to be in line with the experiences of a lot of people with ADHD.
Of course the school system isn't ADHD friendly, but neither is the rest od the world.
Personally, I started to get real problems only AFTER I was done with school and was only diagnosed as an adullt, which is actually a super common thing.

I Hope that these young minds understand how great it is that they are able to come together with their hearts on their sleeves and have these conversations. I hope they can realize that even more important than either one eagerly proving their point, That in this time of Division their ideologies can engage in civil discourse. I hope the toxic ego and political beliefs doesn't overshadow how important these panels are to the social issues poisoning our division in this country and as human beings, because it's not our politics that define how we treat one another.

The issue with the declining birth rate, is that you need atleast a birth rate that replaces the population so you have enought money to pay for the older generations thats retiered. The declining birth rate is very bad for any countries that have any form of subsidization of retirement. After all where do they get the money. They take it from working people. So when the working population is not alot more or even less than the retired population it becomes a big problem.
Male sperm has been in decline steadily for past 50 years. What I find curious is that the Asian or Chinese who long had a one child rule and prior to that outright kill or abandon unwanted daughters to have a first born son were the ones who noticed the sperm decline first I think.
This often sounds like the rethoric of males in past generations who would blame woman for not giving them sons to inherit because she carried the baby. Science has found that it is make sperm higher testosterone in their xy to overpower her xx estrogen.
Woman carry the eggs of her grandmothers viability. While males on the other hand only have finate to themselves sperm creation.
