To clear up the arboreal confusion, a forest is typically defined by being at least an acre of otherwise unused land of which at least 10% are trees (so some savannas are indeed forests), considering the size of it the World Tree by itself probably counts as a forest, which makes that land a flavor win in terms of scientific forestry.
Holy fuck Carl absolutely stole this game! Absolutely Chad. Also Fele absolutely got targeted for no reason. He had the least threatening board state yet got taken out first. Lol.
The fate of a combo player lol, at our lgs we had a Emry player who mostly just drew cards during his turns and minimally developed his board besides that. Still got targeted the moment he showed up, most of the time he died without really doing anything XD
In Japanese, the kanji for “tree” is 木 and the kanji for “forest” is 森 which is just three trees. So Japan has decided, you need three trees to make a forest.
Just that the Japanese didn't decide that because it was an import from China. It's the same in Chinese where the Kanji or rather Hanzi have originated.
@@Genshboy "Kanji" in Japanese is spelled with the characters for "Chinese" and "Character", so I'm well aware of that. When I say this in the context of Japanese, I'm not saying that because I think it's unique to Japan, but because I learned Japanese, not Mandarin or Cantonese.

If I had a nickel for every video this week in which Spice plays commander with a special rule that lets them use the opponent's cards, I'd have two nickels. Two nickels is good, three would be a crowd.
Carl usually gets stomped and punished for being the agent of chaos and fun silly times he is, so it's vindicating to see him win, doubly so because his win ended up being just as chaotic and silly as all his plays
I feel like Thoralf might not have known the format before he chose his commander, not casting permanent spells is a pretty big downside when you can cast your opponents spells. Okay i watched more of the video and nevermind i get the point now.
@32:50 Spice stops to explain how Coat of Arms works, but explains it wrong. Coat of Arms effectively gives each creature +1/+1 for each other creature that shares at least 1 type with it. 2 Goblin Wizards would each only give each other +1/+1, but a Goblin Wizard, a Goblin Rogue, and a Human Wizard would give +2/+2 to the Goblin Wizard and +1/+1 to each of the Goblin Rogue and the Human Wizard.
