Beautiful set but it's unfortunate they often get priced well out of range of average people like me. Especially when resellers scoop them all up. Guess I'll just have to enjoy watching you customize yours Adam.
You must not own one. It's fragile AF and definitely not for kids or play, just display and photos of you're one of the few who bought one and isn't scalping it. :{
Adam I know you probably hear this every day, all day, but I would absolutely be the guy coming to hangout with you again and again. My brother and I grew up in the 70's And our dad took us to see a New Hope and we sat through it 3 times. We've been fans of you since the start of Busters . I would jump at the chance to sit and talk. Your awesome.
So awesome. i JUST got mine yesterday and went through the same excitement with the set up as you. So good to see others enjoying the hobby like me. Great video.
@@lo-firobotboy7112 No, there is definitely a difference between a toy and a collectible. Collectibles are usually more fragile, are built for display, are more expensive and more detailed. If I spend a grand on something like this, I'm not letting my kids fly it around the house. 🙂
@@dpastor6631 Respectfully disagree. I worked for many years for Mattel, and still work as a freelance toy designer. I'm also a long-time Star Wars collector with a complete collection of all the original Kenner 3 3/4 inch figures, ships, and play-sets. Yes, we all love to collect them, and yes, the "Special Edition" or "Ultimate Collector Series" etc. versions are expensive a s fuck, but at the end of the day, they are all just toys. If anything, some of these collector's pieces are simply more finicky and fragile. I used to build studio-scale replicas of Space 1999 Eagles for fans using the Mattel Eagle One as the base. I've also designed a number of Star Wars toys for different commercial clients. Many years ago I stopped feeling precious about any of them. If they break, dent or get scratched you just fix 'em or print a new package.
@@dpastor6631 You're right that there are differences between toys and collectibles. THIS is a toy. Even though it's an expensive toy, it's still a toy. That's what Hasbro make. If YOU put a different value on it, that's a you thing, but that doesn't chance the fact that this is, indeed, a toy.
Already waiting to see the upcoming build protsess, painting and just reasons to make some coffee to admire that work Adam is constantly giving us on this amazing channel. Big fan from Estonia and kinda watched every build video.
It’s great to know that my OCD & constant moving around/ checking is a similar trait with one of the legends of planet earth! Different medium but my Van life build has 6 different projects running at any given time and it all seems to come together amidst the chaos. Cheers from Sth Australia.
Man I love your excitement unpacking this, you were like a 12 Yr old tornado on Christmas Day. Love, love, love it. Just found your channel and thoroughly enjoying it.
One minute in and you got me tearing up over the Kenner logo. So true . PS I got my MacReady hat 👍🏽 I got my sons the Millennium Falcon. A few years back. I also had to get the 1/4 Neca Big Chap and the neca on the box was in Kenner font
Adam, I know you'll never see this but I just want to thank you for all you do. You have been such a huge inspiration to me. I'd consider myself a success if I am capable of only being 20% as awesome and skilled as you are. Thank you, Adam, sincerely, from an inspired fan.
I am totally jealous. I can't believe that I missed out on getting one at retail... Anyways, I also can't wait to see Adam paint and light his Razor Crest here on the channel..
Yes, the name Kenner means adventure to me as well. Received my first X-Wing for Christmas in 1979. It was and is still my best Christmas ever as a child that I recall. I still remember going to Mervyn's with my mom and dad on a near weekly basis to look for and pick out a new figurine. If I remember correctly my Star Wars guys cost around $2.50. Yes, the name Kenner and actually even Mervyn's will always have a place in my heart.
Like a lot of people i'm excited to see how Adam will enhance this model. Hopefully some one will produce a commercially available lighting kit one day and i'll be brave enough to fit it to my Razor Crest.
I know this is a late comment, but did everyone else get a kick out of watching him flip and toss stuff around as he was putting it together? Like a kid opening his favorite new toy on Christmas.
not sure about the green table cover but did enjoy the vid. Thanks for all your energy and inspiration to continue doing crafting. My 3d printer is about to finish a 20 hour print of a unicorn that is meant as a gift.
i was very distracted by this moment at 4:55 when Adam unpacks "another engine cell" and a piece falls out... to the point where he realises something is missing 9:18 and every time i see him looking for it i feel like he is pantomiming and i'm here saying "it's on the ground, look on the ground!" this is an ongoing trial until 20:57 where i can give a cheer "he found it!" LOL
Hi Adam, I love your enthusiasm opening the box almost as much as looking at the different parts of the Razor Crest (which is stunning). I love sci-fi and movies but have a rule not to break which is I can’t buy any Star Wars toys or collectibles, as I would end up broke with no money lol 😂. However this beautiful Razor Crest is very close to making me break my rule! Keep up the great work, I enjoy it immensely! 👍😁
So I have to say I was pretty dissatisfied up until the last few minutes when you added in some extra footage of upclose ! But I also understand that excitement and how easy it is to not think in the moment and be so pumped ! Great video
In season 1, episode 1 very first time we see the inside of the Razor Crest and the very first bounty he catches, we see the Razor Crest bathroom. Yeah, I know it's a weird detail to remember from 2 seasons ago, but it was the very first episode. Hopefully, the Jawa's robes aren't made out of someone's old worn sock, watch "The Toy's that made us" on Netflix if you don't know the story.

You need the Lego UCS Razor Crest best Star Wars set 🤘🏽🔥
You should 3D print a carbonite miniature of yourself, paint it up and add it to the carbonite storage area in the ship!
Boosting this
There’s a kid named Zaydabyu, I believe, who could do it in a heartbeat, I have been impressed with his realistic sculptures.
What a great idea.
Oh man I wanna see that so bad now
Love it!
It’s the first model I’ve seen where you take it apart more than you put it together!!
Definitely built to be played with. Very cool!
You must not own one. It's fragile AF and definitely not for kids or play, just display and photos of you're one of the few who bought one and isn't scalping it. :{
I was beginning to worry about how long it would take Adam to find the part that fell on the floor. Luckily, he found it before it got stepped on.
That was so stressful! I was holding back my desire to yell at the screen when I saw it fall.
4:56
I felt like screaming at the video when I saw him do that
He found it? Thanks!
I'm 14 min in and he still hasn't found it. I had to check the comments before I lost my mind.
SPOILERS
I really, REALLY, hope you guys at Tested will (if you haven't already) film the "one day build" of upgrading Adams Razor Crest!
He said that he would in the video of them painting Norm's Razor Crest..
We have to see this
Adam I know you probably hear this every day, all day, but I would absolutely be the guy coming to hangout with you again and again. My brother and I grew up in the 70's

The retro packaging on that is just so amazing.
Yep, right in the nostalgia.
Yay! Adam has a new toy, it was really cool seeing you two weathering Norm’s Razor Crest.
4:55 when your screaming at the screen cause Adam dropped a part, then spent 5 minutes looking for it lol
This is the best Sunday morning watching you open and put together this amazing toy.
Adam's excitement is infectious😁
Well I’ll rewatch Adam opening this then I’ll be more than happy to watch him weathering his own razor crest!
It looks so cool. And the details that goes in and out of the figure is insane.
Nothing better than sitting in bed with a fresh cup of coffee and watching Adam unbox Star Wars toys 👌
Or NASA toys.
I don't know sitting in bed with a fresh cup of coffee and watching a million dollars appear on your lap would definitely be better than this
I absolutely LOVE the “retro” packaging. Sure brings me back!
I feel like a Dad on Christmas morning, watching is son putting together the new Kenner toy he gave him 🤩👍
Love my Razor Crest! So great to see Adam and Norm enjoying this epic toy!
This is beyond amazing. Love seeing Adam's face light up reminiscing of his childhood days getting a new toy. Love it
So awesome. i JUST got mine yesterday and went through the same excitement with the set up as you. So good to see others enjoying the hobby like me. Great video.
Very cool!
The details on those models are just outstanding.
Norm being very careful, compared to Adam just turning and flipping it around like its a toy
It IS a toy. Collectors are way to precious about these things.

You nailed it about the Kenner Lego This is the Way
Like a kid opening it for Christmas! Love your energy Adam!
so funny... your like a kid at Christmas! .... LOVE IT
Adam weathering this entire ship is the content that i would kill to see!

Haha! The handchalk for the pool table is still there!
Wow, I fully understand Adam's reaction to that Kenner logo. I feel the same. That logo was a big part of my early childhood.
I have been slowly weathering my razor crest. And it absolutely needs lighting. Can’t wait to see what Adam does
Im glad you didnt step on that engine cover and snap it in two! WHEW! Time to get out the oil paints and step that weathering up a few notches.

Miss my Falcon. Somewhere along the line my lovely parents tossed it out on me. To be fair, it was used and abused for many years.
I just like seeing Adam Savage building a Star Wars model. He's so excited.
I think there is much inspiration coming from the movie Firefly and it's ship.
Your excitement is most joyful to watch. It reminds me of our youths getting a new toy a trying to figure out all it does 😊😊

This is the funnest channel on TH-cam for me.
Awesome video! Praying for you, Mr. Savage!
I would love to see a upgrade videos of the upgrades Adam does. Paint lighting all of it.
I’m no Adam, but would love to share what I’ve done if interested :)

I have to say I cringed when Adam took his knife/tool to the landing gear doors...a great adult toy for sure!...thanks for sharing! and be safe!
I am totally jealous. I can't believe that I missed out on getting one at retail...
Anyways, I also can't wait to see Adam paint and light his Razor Crest here on the channel..
It was never at retail, so you didn't miss out there.
@@Bad_Wolf_Media Well, the original $350 price..
Adam gets so excited. He’s like a kid in a candy shop and I love it.
Just like a kid at Christmas. Priceless
You dropped the missing piece on the floor at 4:55
Saw that too. I'm assuming that was what he was starting to look for at the 15:12 minute mark.

04:56 the cover from Engine two is falling !! Great video and i hope we see more of you !
I can’t wait to see how you gonna costumize and Update that Model!
my daughter owns the Razor Crest, it is so great to see, it's better a collector than to toy to play with!!! (sorry for my english)
Looking forward to seeing you paint and light it
I enjoy the fact that Adam has a book entitled "Embalming" on the shelf behind him, because of course he does.
The most Hilarious part of a video is seeing Adam confused! Lol
Like a lot of people i'm excited to see how Adam will enhance this model. Hopefully some one will produce a commercially available lighting kit one day and i'll be brave enough to fit it to my Razor Crest.
Loved you Adam in Myth Busters. One of my fav shows ever..
Extremely satisfying viewing 👍
"Got all these vignettes you can see" ... I can't see the vignettes, Mr. Savage, only you can.
Adam- has assembly instructions in front of him
Also Adam- ignores them and looks at the box illustration instead
To be fair, in some cases the picture on the box is more clear than the assembly instructions. I did exactly the same.
You should start every video with an intro from an action figure, it's like it pushes you up a level.
12:40 "Is that a toilet?"
Me: "Akshully, it's a refresher."
They called it a privy in the show...
A awesome looking piece. While I did not get the Razorcrest I'll be enjoying my own unboxings later with Marvel's Galactus and the GI Joe Sky Striker.
Also, 21:01
It's as if Adam felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out, "UNDER THE TABLE!”
I know this is a late comment, but did everyone else get a kick out of watching him flip and toss stuff around as he was putting it together? Like a kid opening his favorite new toy on Christmas.
I cannot wait to see this once you've got all the lighting installed. : )
Hopefully we get another episode of you customizing it and putting light kit in it with closer camera shots.
21:00 I saw a piece fall at 4:55 when you pulled the second engine out of wrapping.
I can't wait to see all the different versions of this flying around in Starfield.
Love the design of the cockpit. Real Lancaster bomber vibes.

Nice. I'd like to see Adam and Norm unbox a Legacy Millennium Falcon (the BMF) with their preferred paint apps/weathering/personal improvements.
I totally know what you mean about the Kenner logo Adam! That logo (and the proof of purchase) was my childhood!
Mine too!
I just watched Adam go back in time to when he was a child playing with the original Kenner toys
The way this man is throwing that box around. Value plummeting
Only scalpers buy to resell. :{
Would love to see what you do with this with lights & any modifications! Please make a video!

The flipping the box over sent me XD I do the exact same thing; including nearly dropping it!
Thanks for sharing ….. I kept saying it’s on the floor under your desk 😂👍
I want to see a "restoration" video where Razor Crest is turned back into Serenity.
So I have to say I was pretty dissatisfied up until the last few minutes when you added in some extra footage of upclose ! But I also understand that excitement and how easy it is to not think in the

It’s a flying Sandcrawler!
Agree on the Kenner logo, a big part of my childhood.
That's so lovely Adam. would love to get my hands on that but it would be very expensive in Iceland. happy new year
Plz do a one day build on lighting this Ship . . that would be amazing
I hope Adam goes all out painting his 👍🏻
How close do you think you could get to the chrome finish?
4:56, there goes the primary buffer panel.
Yes! Love that Kenner logo!!! Did you have a Tyco or Nikko R/C car as a kid too?
"I can't wait to get a screwdriver out and start opening this stuff up and making it cooler"

I always worry a little when Adam has more then one sharpie opened up. Hey ya made it the whole way through the build. Nice work. Great model
glad he found that part.
i identified so hard with your comments about the kenner logo
It would be lovely if they made a serenity model like that.

Pretty good Din Djarin impression in the beginning
Its on the floor, Adam. It fell down.
Adam, its on the floor.
ITS ON THE FLOOR!!!!! LOOK ON THE FLOOR!
