I think it's a massive stretch to say this was confirmation that Blackbeard can eat another fruit. The feeling that I get from reading this chapter is that Blackbeard either wanted immortality or to sell the fruit.

Chopper was very unsure if the rumble ball would even work or if it would have any crazy sideeffects like he did. So, using that in Wano would have been a huge gamble. Maybe if they had more time, Chopper could have experimented more or maybe it is possible that Chopper only made it after Wano seeing how limited the full moon availability is.
Also, to my knowledge, Chopper had not developed the Sulong Rumble Ball before coming to Wano. If anything, he likely developed it after the Raid and during the falling action.

ok so i have a theory that could have potential if ohara sees it. so all the time we see kuzan with blackbeard is in a flashback and the talking bubble font is normal except when blackbeard says"you are free now so what do you wanna to do" which has the usual flashback font that one piece has, moreover blackbeard in two scenes before when he asks kuzan to join his crew looks alot like roger, so i think maybe kuzan saw something in blackbeard that reminded him of roger and decided to join him for that, maybe roger said the same thing to him years ago.(also it could have been rocks instead of roger but we dont know how he looks but blackbeard seems to have a connection with him since his ship is named after him). lastly remember that blackbeard is in the d clan maybe he is actually good but misunderstood and has a great reason to doing whatever he does

I think BB is one of the three species that Big Mom was missing including Giants and Lunarian. I think that special species can stock at least 2 DF. In manga we learned that Kuma was a special race and that they used him for experimentations which allowed him use Kizaru's Lasers. In other words, he is using 2 different devil fruit powers similarly to BB. This is my theory.

I think everyone’s sleeping on the fact that we got introduced to the giant prince “Loki” I think he’s the man marked by flames. Big mom said if Lola married him she’d be the “pirate king” everyone thought she meant the strength of the giants would make her the pirate king but I think that was a red herring. Maybe this is why we don’t have closure on big mom/ kaido because they still have a part to play.
Ohara, regarding the “use it” line that Blackbeard said. Obviously he should end up with 3 devil fruits. But i think it makes way more sense that by “using the Op-Op” means he needs Law to use it to give BB eternal life. Or someone else use it on him. I think Blackbeard had 2 routes into Mariejoa, I think he's teamed up with York before she asked to become a Celestial Dragon would make more sense why she asked for that in the first place and how she has a backup plan in case that failed and it would also cover why a blackbeard ship is approaching egghead right now, the other is the Kobi route and it pains me to say but trading Kobi for Garp is needed to make it a reality and it doesn't necessarily have to be Aoikiji beats Garp, he just needs to hold him up because Blackbeard is done with his fight with Law and the clock is ticking because Bb Has a severe case of offscreen no jutsu.

I have a theory about Chopper’s rumble ball: The reason why Bepo was able to turn into cocaine bear was because Chopper gave him a advanced rumble ball that he developed that speeds up the Sulong form and since the Straw Hat Pirates and the Heart Pirates are allied this could mean that Chopper gave Bepo the rumble ball in a crew flashback. During the fight with ace, it’s mentioned his fruit doesn’t act like typical logia, (we already have some not typical logia’s thanks to green bull and aokiji) black beard himself stated the fruit sucks in all attacks or damage and amplifies the pain factor. (What if the devil fruit nullifies all physical damage but imposes double of the pain you would feel from such a physical hit) 3. Blackbeard sucked an entire town and threw it back up, making his power almost like a locker that can hold things indefinitely and keep them within his body (which is even weirded now cause he’s a weird logia) 4. I believe black beard (since we don’t know exactly how devil fruits came to be 100 percent or what it is in the body that it does or manifests in order for the powers to arise) has the power to suck whatever it may be that gives someone devil fruit powers, and store it indefinitely within his body, he might have to do something excessive to rip the power out, but simply by touching someone he could already be attempting to suck the power which is why people lose the ability to use their power if touched, because the “devil” is fighting the darkness fruit for control and can’t be activated. 5. Interesting to see that Garps Blue Hole has a similar naming convention to Luffy's Red Roc. I'm not sure if those coloured pages are official but if it does give off a blue aura, then there's still more forms of advanced haki we need to see.
I think blue hole just means he throws you down so hard you fall through the ground until you fall into the sea, kinda like hou fujitora can push people through the ground with his df, we've seen garp emulate blackbeard's fruit with his strength and haki in galaxy impact so he could also emulate fujitora's fruit to an extent

Dragon being the man marked by flames makes perfect sense. Him and Akainu have established beef or conflict. It’s heavily implied dragon used to have some sort of relations to the marines. Dragons been associated with wind which is an element which would align with the admiral power structures. Also brings together the other theory that there was an admiral for each sea. If dragon and akainu fought, like Aokiji and akainu did. Maybe dragon also didn’t get away scotfree.
Not sure what this beef or conflict you're refering to is. Dragon has been the world's most wanted men when Akainu was still irrelevant. The only reason Akainu is upset is because he's the fleet admiral and things are going down on his watch.
Blackbeard literally says his darkness powers lets him TAKE devil fruit powers when he was fighting Ace. I understand the fun of theory crafting and I love it but he literally says its his darkness power that does it then at Marineford he needed total darkness, which is why he needed the pitch black blanket to cover him. Well, we know from Marco that BB could do this because of his abnormal body, we also know that he doesn't sleep. So it seems like the only way to get several fruits for now is to have "weird" body like BB to "stock" the 2nd fruit, and also the Yami-Yami to get it in the first place. (what if Luffy could also eat several since he wouldn't be able to explode but would just turn into baloon mode for a short time lol)
I think it could be possible that kuzan is one of the revolutionary army since he is interested in robin, knows a lot about kuma and seems to have a very mysterious aura around him. Would also explain why he fights with garp and tries to be a double agent for dragon to have some influence in a very powerful emperor crew.

This chapter also reveals a little more about Blackbeards dream. In this chapter he says "We all profit from having our own agendas, that's what makes us pirates! You're free now, so what do you wanna do?" Which gives me the impression Blackbeards dream and Luffy's Dream are very similar. I think that Blackbeards dream is Anarchy, where everyone is free to do whatever they want, when they want, and with his power he can steal devil fruits and give them away to other people to make their dreams come true. In Blackbeards dream the strong willed people are on top while the weak willed are at the bottom.
The difference between Luffy and Blackbeard is that Luffy never betrayed his friends and family. I only compared their ultimate goals because ultimately the goals are similar, it's their execution to achieve those goals that differ greatly. To clarify, both want freedom, but Blackbeard thinks that means take what you want, while Luffy thinks that by working together they can move mountains.
Blackbeard speculation: He probably absorbed his two identical twins in the womb, including their souls, and may be able to just have one of his twins take over control when he's tired, alleviating the need to sleep or prohibiting it entirely, i.e. because "it's crammed in there" and one personality does always have to be awake. It could also be that he has the same devil fruit as Rocks D. Xebec, which happens to allow you to eat 3 more. My theory is one piece is under sea location. Davey Jones stole devil tree from Inu and he with power of sea devil fruit cursed him to live under sea bound to one piece aka devil fruit tree. Now there there will ve fight for red poneglyphs and winner will go against luffy crew to capture Nico. In a way it would be like unfinished continuation of enies lobby arc.
I think it's going to make a lot of sense if Blackbeard uses the Ope-Ope no Mi as a bargaining chip to the World Government to form his own kingdom. What if the man marked by flames is Shiki or someone involved in the clash between roger X shiki? I think the description of that black ship matches their battle, because most of shiki fleet were swallowed by whirlpools. What if is someone from rogers crew?
chopper likely didn’t go into sulong in wano because he’s not actually a mink. he’s a reindeer that ate a human fruit. so it could be something unique to them

In all honestly, Chopper getting a good look at just how much Neko and Inu’s Sulong forms changed the tide of battle was probably the inspiration for him even trying it. Ever since the marineford war arc, I believed that Blackbeard's devil fruit is what's allowing him to eat multiple devil fruits. As his devil fruit's power can nullify others' fruits, it can be assumed that it can also suck them out once they're dead?
My theory: Blackbeard uses his darkness fruit to nullify the other fruit he's eaten, so that they don't 'fight between each other' and he won't explode. I don't think he can use both at the same time. I think he can just switch back and forth between the fruits. For example: BB can pull a user in with his darkness fruit, and nullify it so that he can use the rattle fruit to shake his opponent up. It seems surreal that he could nullify the fruit that ALLOWS him to nullify fruits in the first place, but it's the most logical one I think.
When blackbeard asks whether he should use it, this is right next to the panel where he asks Law if the fruit can make him immortal. As law was still alive, perhaps he was wondering whether he could 'use' the fruit by torturing Law to the pint that he uses the perpetual life technique on blackbeard to make him immortal.
When blackbeard says use he doesn't mean he will eat it himself but he will give it to a member since the op-op fruit becomes more powerful with more medical knowledge you have blackbeard eating it would be useless...

As things have progressed we've skipped all major battles and right now it seems likely that he was referring to Kuzan and Garp, but if it turns into all out battle I'd think Kuzan actually flipped sides and is not part of Sword
Blackbeard needs another Poseidon (Greek god) based devil fruit. Darkness fruit is pressure and darkness kind of like the bottom of the ocean. Earthquake fruit for power over tsunamis and earthquakes. Next could be a nixie or kelpie fruit? Mythical horses that drowned people. Since Poseidon was also the god of horses. Although that might not be very cool aesthetically.
While I don't think his statement of using it was eating it (I'm thinking the Immortal surgery), I'm betting he's found a bypass using Green blood (Vegapunks synthesizing of Bloodline/DF traits) I still like my Chimera theory, but they wouldn't have dropped the green blood thing without it becoming useful to someone else.
Blackbeard ain’t stupid, he comprehends the fact that Kuzan might, at any moment betray him but regardless of that he is a powerful asset to have. My theory is that at some point in time Kuzan will have to sacrifice Someone important (like Garp) in order to gain Blackbeard full trust and only after that he would stab him in the back.

The dark dark fruit has the ability to absorb anything, even non-tangible things like pain. However this comes with a drawback as his fruit also absorbs damage (most physical attacks, etc), even though it is logia type fruit. Basically he can control darkness at will, but if his physical body is hit he has no choice but to absorb it... saying this, He "absorbed" the quake quake fruit he didn't eat it. It's similar to Big Moms situation, she obtained the spirit spirit devil fruit not by eating it, but by eating the previous owner of that devil fruit, thus absorbing the devil fruit powers. So it's kinda weird but it makes sense 😁
I noticed one this, in one piece. Luffy and BB are always linked in a way that can be put in two sides of the coin. Since BB's crew confirmed the 10th Commander which he's insanely strong, Luffy's 9 members crew will get another final strawhat. and also luffy when he first set sail, Luffy set a goal of gaining ten crewmates. i'm assuming the last member will some what be insanely powerful at least in the level of an Admiral (put for example Yamato, or maybe someone else)
They Only defeated Big Mom because they worked together, Law and Kid. But when they fought Individually the more Younger Yonkos they can't even give scratch to them.
I think we still need something to determine whether its the Darkness power itself that allows him to consume more fruits or if thats merely the tool to extract the fruits from the current user and his own weird traits let him consume multiple without dying.

I think he's deciding whether to sell the op op fruit (for like 5 billion berries or for a figure that's close) or use it in the sense that he has the eternal youth surgery/operation performed on him OR maybe I fell for Oda's trap by thinking this way and the message between the lines is that he can use the fruit himself and is capable of consuming a third devil fruit.

we probable can make a guess about the "man maked by flames" based on the fact that he has the last red poniglyph, the one that was located on Fishman island in the past, that place was White Beard's territory, so for the person to have the poniglyph the person 1- get permission from White Beard 2- take it after White Beard die.

It has to be someone who uses this name as a way to conceal his identify or a character we do not know about. Thats why Saul, is so far the best guess. He doesn't want people to know about him and he is all bandaged up, hence marked by flames. Of course the ship and whirlpools is where you have to create your explanations for it... But its still the best guess.

My current theory is that Blackbeard is able to use multiple fruits with no limit... Chopper was very unsure if the rumble ball would even work or if it would have any crazy sideeffects like he did. So, using that in Wano would have been a huge gamble. Maybe if they had more time, Chopper could have experimented more or maybe it is possible that Chopper only made it after Wano seeing how limited the full moon availability is.
Also, to my knowledge, Chopper had not developed the Sulong Rumble Ball before coming to Wano. If anything, he likely developed it after the Raid and during the falling action.

I think BB is one of the three species that Big Mom was missing including Giants and Lunarian. I think that special species can stock at least 2 DF. In manga we learned that Kuma was a special race and that they used him for experimentations which allowed him use Kizaru's Lasers. In other words, he is using 2 different devil fruit powers similarly to BB. This is my theory.

I think everyone’s sleeping on the fact that we got introduced to the giant prince “Loki” I think he’s the man marked by flames. Big mom said if Lola married him she’d be the “pirate king” everyone thought she meant the strength of the giants would make her the pirate king but I think that was a red herring. Maybe this is why we don’t have closure on big mom/ kaido because they still have a part to play.

I think Blackbeard had 2 routes into Mariejoa, I think he's teamed up with York before she asked to become a Celestial Dragon would make more sense why she asked for that in the first place and how she has a backup plan in case that failed and it would also cover why a blackbeard ship is approaching egghead right now, the other is the Kobi route and it pains me to say but trading Kobi for Garp is needed to make it a reality and it doesn't necessarily have to be Aoikiji beats Garp, he just needs to hold him up because Blackbeard is done with his fight with Law and the clock is ticking because Bb Has a severe case of offscreen no jutsu.

1. Black beard has said his devil fruit is the strongest (I believe the darkness fruit itself is what allows him to hold more than 1)he specifically needed the darkness fruit for his plans to come to fruition, now hear me out.
2. During the fight with ace, it’s mentioned his fruit doesn’t act like typical logia, (we already have some not typical logia’s thanks to green bull and aokiji) black beard himself stated the fruit sucks in all attacks or damage and amplifies the pain factor.
(What if the devil fruit nullifies all physical damage but imposes double of the pain you would feel from such a physical hit)
3. Blackbeard sucked an entire town and threw it back up, making his power almost like a locker that can hold things indefinitely and keep them within his body (which is even weirded now cause he’s a weird logia)
4. I believe black beard (since we don’t know exactly how devil fruits came to be 100 percent or what it is in the body that it does or manifests in order for the powers to arise) has the power to suck whatever it may be that gives someone devil fruit powers, and store it indefinitely within his body, he might have to do something excessive to rip the power out, but simply by touching someone he could already be attempting to suck the power which is why people lose the ability to use their power if touched, because the “devil” is fighting the darkness fruit for control and can’t be activated.
5. And since it has not been stated, I believe he has the ability to hold more than and just like one for all or whatever the guys name in MHA is he can store the power in his body and transfer it to someone else
Which is the reason he NEEDED the darkness fruit, not only to nullify devil fruits but also to steal as many powerful fruits as he could without having to worry about the fruit being lost once it “respawns”

This would truly make the Darkness fruit one if not the most powerful (even with sun god Nika fruit and the dragon fruit from kaido exist and seem way powerful, they are only powerful within the ability of their fruit) in terms of what you could achieve with the darkness fruit if put in the hands of someone who knows exactly what to do (aka Blackbeard)

Interesting to see that Garps Blue Hole has a similar naming convention to Luffy's Red Roc. I'm not sure if those coloured pages are official but if it does give off a blue aura, then there's still more forms of advanced haki we need to see.
I think blue hole just means he throws you down so hard you fall through the ground until you fall into the sea, kinda like hou fujitora can push people through the ground with his df, we've seen garp emulate blackbeard's fruit with his strength and haki in galaxy impact so he could also emulate fujitora's fruit to an extent

Him and Akainu have established beef or conflict. It’s heavily implied dragon used to have some sort of relations to the marines. Dragons been associated with wind which is an element which would align with the admiral power structures. Also brings together the other theory that there was an admiral for each sea.
If dragon and akainu fought, like Aokiji and akainu did. Maybe dragon also didn’t get away scotfree.

You're free now, so what do you wanna do?" Which gives me the impression Blackbeards dream and Luffy's Dream are very similar. I think that Blackbeards dream is Anarchy, where everyone is free to do whatever they want, when they want, and with his power he can steal devil fruits and give them away to other people to make their dreams come true. In Blackbeards dream the strong willed people are on top while the weak willed are at the bottom.
The difference between Luffy and Blackbeard is that Luffy never betrayed his friends and family. Always prioritise them their safety well-being first and never take someone else's their freedom, but Blackbeard will betray everyone in order to get his want

Blackbeard uses his darkness fruit to nullify the other fruit he's eaten, so that they don't 'fight between each other' and he won't explode. I don't think he can use both at the same time. I think he can just switch back and forth between the fruits. For example: BB can pull a user in with his darkness fruit, and nullify it so that he can use the rattle fruit to shake his opponent up.
It seems surreal that he could nullify the fruit that ALLOWS him to nullify fruits in the first place, but it's the most logical one I think.

When blackbeard asks whether he should use it, this is right next to the panel where he asks Law if the fruit can make him immortal. As law was still alive, perhaps he was wondering whether he could 'use' the fruit by torturing Law to the pint that he uses the perpetual life technique on blackbeard to make him immortal.
When blackbeard says use he doesn't mean he will eat it himself but he will give it to a member since the op-op fruit becomes more powerful with more medical knowledge you have blackbeard eating it would be useless...

Blackbeard needs another Poseidon (Greek god) based devil fruit. Darkness fruit is pressure and darkness kind of like the bottom of the ocean. Earthquake fruit for power over tsunamis and earthquakes. Next could be a nixie or kelpie fruit? Mythical horses that drowned people. Since Poseidon was also the god of horses. Although that might not be very cool aesthetically.

My theory is that at some point in time Kuzan will have to sacrifice Someone important (like Garp) in order to gain Blackbeard full trust and only after that he would stab him in the back.

The dark dark fruit has the ability to absorb anything, even non-tangible things like pain. However this comes with a drawback as his fruit also absorbs damage (most physical attacks, etc), even though it is logia type fruit. Basically he can control darkness at will, but if his physical body is hit he has no choice but to absorb it... saying this, He "absorbed" the quake quake fruit he didn't eat it. It's similar to Big Moms situation, she obtained the spirit spirit devil fruit not by eating it, but by eating the previous owner of that devil fruit, thus absorbing the devil fruit powers. So it's kinda weird but it makes sense 😁
I noticed one this, in one piece. Luffy and BB are always linked in a way that can be put in two sides of the coin.
Since BB's crew confirmed the 10th Commander which he's insanely strong, Luffy's 9 members crew will get another final strawhat. and also luffy when he first set sail, Luffy set a goal of gaining ten crewmates. i'm assuming the last member will some what be insanely powerful at least in the level of an Admiral (put for example Yamato, or maybe someone else)
They Only defeated Big Mom because they worked together, Law and Kid.
But when they fought Individually the more Younger Yonkos they can't even give scratch to them.
I think we still need something to determine whether its the Darkness power itself that allows him to consume more fruits or if thats merely the tool to extract the fruits from the current user and his own weird traits let him consume multiple without dying.
All I know is that Blackbeard even considering selling the fruit means that Law’s fruit isn’t needed in the story for the end game stuff like some theories thought. It’s probably just a super OP fruit that people want for power and that’s it. So it’s prob gonna happen to where Law uses the immortality ability on someone imo

I think he's deciding whether to sell the op op fruit (for like 5 billion berries or for a figure that's close) or use it in the sense that he has the eternal youth surgery/operation performed on him OR maybe I fell for Oda's trap by thinking this way and the message between the lines is that he can use the fruit himself and is capable of consuming a third devil fruit.

My current theory is that Blackbeard is able to use multiple fruits with no limit...
