DIY Button up dress from men's shirt - Refashion men's shirt idea

Welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Jess and I love doing DIY, refashion clothes into the new simply but pretty way.
Today video, I'm going to share with you a new idea on how I transformed a men's shirt into the button up dress with bow ties.
It's a very cute dress and easy to wear for any occasion. It's also a bit tight that could show your body.
I used the 3XL men's shirt for this DIY and measured for my body size (82-66-92). However, I tried to show how you could do the measurement on your body. So I hope it'll help you to make this dress for yourself.

Super cute refashion. This longer length is great for all body shapes and still looks youthful. The ruffle adds a nice touch at the top. I enjoy seeing your refashions.

Do you think I could do this with a short sleeves men's shirt? I would most likely make a medium size dress. I really love it and want to try it out!
I think you still can if your shirt is big enough. But I still prefer the long sleeve as you will have fabric to use
i absolutely love your videos! the style of the clothes are so pretty and reminds me of the reformation brand 😍 Also, what kind of stitch is that on the ends of the fabric to prevent it from fraying? i don’t think i have it in my sewing machine sadly, do you recommend another method to stop fabric from fraying?
Thank you 🥰 I used the zigzag stitching with the closing at one size. If you're using the normal sewing machine like mine, you can find it at the type of stitching board
I made it.But it takes 2 days for me to finished.🥺But it's okay it turned out really cute ❤️ btw im a beginner at sewing.

I used the zigzag stitching on my sewing machine with fake overlock presser foot to do it
