At the end, it lines up better with the hyenas turning on him, cuz they were never actually "friends" in the first place. In real life, Hyena troops are lead by a matriarch, so it's great they gave Shenzi that role along with making her larger and imposing, as opposed to just being the "smart one" in the 3 hyena troop.

OneMeanArtist Beyoncé fan here and I agree. She can’t act let alone voice act. Dreamgirls only worked because she was basically playing herself. When I heard that Beyoncé was going to be on it, I assumed that she’d play simba’s Mom who has fewer lines. Beyoncé should’ve just had her songs on the album.

Tell us Disney, after you've remade every single one of your animated films into live-action (or an approximation there of), then what are you gonna do? Are you gonna re-animate them and then make those animations into other live-action versions and repeat that cycle until the inevitable collapse of society? This is not a sustainable business model and something has to give.
