You’re mistaking what we expect to have happen in every story with the fact that in well written stories those moments are logically reached and earned by the narrative. Most really good movies do the latter. Comic book movies rarely do and typically get a pass on it.

Yyyep... That's what's up... I'm not a hardcore comics fan, I'm into manga manhua and manhwa, but for some reason not comics, tho I do LOVE a good animation. So I do understand hardcore fans feelings when they nitpick (I do that myself all the time) but this movie hit all the right spots for me and is easily one of my (scratch that) IT IS my best comic movie ever (because it's very entertaining), so I'm extremely forgiving for it's flaws. Spider-Man's Spider-Sense (Literally Shown In The Movie) is effectively the calm sane version of Deadpools meta-self-awareness. Which is one reason why Deadpool is so fond of Spider-Man, not only are they kind of a known meta-'plutonic'-couple it's the fact that Spider-Man and Deadpool have a similar ability of awareness but Spider-Man's is much more restrained and under control of itself. Deadpool's is happening so fast and so often it is one of the critical reasons he is pretty much insane, he can't control it just like he can't control the cancerous cells that keep repairing, healing, and tearing his body apart. (On top of the fact Thanos literally banished him from death's realm of control). But yeah, the more you know.

She’s crying because the robot suit is her last piece of her father. Even though she redesigns and brings back the robot, the original robot was designed by her father; that’s something she can never get back.
That's great and all...but for the regular movie watcher that was a detailed missed...I knew that it was designed by her father, but we had no way of knowing this was the ONLY thing she had left....that was my biggest issue with the movie, we didn't spend enough time with the characters, Gwen, Miles and Peter B Parker we're the only three that we spent time with...I dunno, I would've appreciated an extra 20mins to the movie just for the characters to do more

I'm not gonna lie when i first saw the trailers for this movie i thought "well thats cute might be a decent time killer" then BOOM it honestly becomes in my opinion one of the best spiderman movies ever 10/10 would recommend!!!

Actually, the reason Miles finally controls his powers is cause he finally understands he doesn't need to be the way everyone tells him he needs to be in order to fill those expectations as Spider-Man, and as a student. His father tells him: This spark in you, it's yours, and you can do anything with it. Thats when he finally gets it: he can be great in his own way!
This was one of the few movies I think actually lived up to the hype. The story was fun and solid but left enough loose ends for the audience to chase after a sequel and spin-offs, the graphics were absolutely incredible, and the audio was on point from beginning to end.
4:15 the suit was built by her father (Peni's 'uncle ben') who died, so the suit being destroyed and left behind is symbolic of her losing her last connection to her real father/family.

That is a pretty neat touch for an alternate universe. And really, it makes more sense than family names coming from the father... There's never really a question about whether a baby is related to its mother or not, while with fathers familial bloodlines are much more suspect.
Apparently the comics explained it a couple years ago - miles' paternal grandfather was a bad, abusive person, so miles' dad preferred miles take his mom's (untarnished, in his eyes) name instead.

Actually, the reason Miles finally controls his powers is cause he finally understands he doesn't need to be the way everyone tells him he needs to be in order to fill those expectations as Spider-Man, and as a student. His father tells him: This spark in you, it's yours, and you can do anything with it. Thats when he finally gets it: he can be great in his own way!

This was one of the few movies I think actually lived up to the hype. The story was fun and solid but left enough loose ends for the audience to chase after a sequel and spin-offs, the graphics were absolutely incredible, and the audio was on point from beginning to end.
And the sequel also lived up to the hype

Miles Morales is a character from the ultimate marvel timeline, where, though they never draw attention to it, everyone's last name comes from their mother's side, but the husband doesn't take the wife's name. For instance, Magneto, Eric Lensherr, has two kids with Isabelle Maximoff, and their names are Wanda & Pedro maximoff, or Peter Parker's aunt is is mom's sister, instead of uncle ben being his dad's brother. Not sure why nobody talks about this, it's really neat imo :3
That is a pretty neat touch for an alternate universe. And really, it makes more sense than family names coming from the father... There's never really a question about whether a baby is related to its mother or not, while with fathers familial bloodlines are much more suspect.
It kind of is questonable of the baby doesn't like the mom, and if there was no question, then why does the kid also need to be named after them
Apparently the comics explained it a couple years ago - miles' paternal grandfather was a bad, abusive person, so miles' dad preferred miles take his mom's (untarnished, in his eyes) name instead.

Like in the finale buildings, cars, and other debris are being sucked in, because it had become unstable. It’s possible that during a trial run they accidentally brought stuff back without their knowledge

In Spain and some Spanish speaking countries, it's the mother's name that comes last, not the father's.
Miles Morales has spanish heritage so, naturally, he uses his mother's name last.

I mean his name would be Miles Davis Morales with Morales as his second last name (apellido). But anytime you shorten someone's name to just one apellido, it's always the first one. He'd still be Miles Davis.
The in-universe answer is that the father doesn't want Miles to be tied to his criminal past so Miles took his mother's last name.
