    One thing you forgot to add is that if you stand on one of its cannons (to jump on him), the mole hides in his tank and enters another attack phase

    I think it would be really cool to make two changes of
    A) Changing how many hits it takes to go down, so we could put it in as a single harder enemy in normal situations with one hit
    B) Make it so other things can be fired from the canons, such as bob-ombs, power ups, or anything else
    Incredible work and I love how its coming along

    Idea: Maybe increase the amount of customizability for everything in the game. For example, you can set how many phases/hp as boss has, or set the color of a pipe to anything. I understand if you can't add this, as it seems hard to implement, but I feel like being able to fully customize everything in the game has huge potential that the original Mario Maker didn't fully use. The game looks really good so far! I can't wait for it to be fully finished!

    These would work great as minibosses! I can already imagine putting two of them on each side of a boss battle room with the main goal to survive them and some other bullet-related attacks, without being able to touch them. Though that would require a functionality that damages them on it's own, to make the battle harder in time and to destroy them eventually, which I very much hope you add!

    i think adding some effects like Monty Mole blinking in yellow once hit and Bullet Bills getting effect similar to when they're shot in NSMBDS would make this fight slightly better.

    Idea: Some of the thumbnails in SMM and SMM2 have art, however some colors don't even have a 1x1 block, (purple, black, green, pink). So the solution is to add concrete, which are solid colors that you can adjust for each block using a slider.

    This looks cool so far! I would recommend using Unity's built-in title set editor to make a level editor, as I noticed you don't have any actual blocks in your level so far. A good tutorial is Coding in Flow's "Build a 2D Platformer Game in Unity" tutorial, particularly episodes 1 and 2.

    Alignment's off in a few areas, some things like when it's bouncing or the lack of "explosion" when destroyed are a bit odd but it looks great so far, all it needs is some sfx and it's perfect!

    Mummipoki: This boss is similar to its Game counterpart but is made differently to fit the maker system: He takes three hits to defeat, he spits out a projectile after digging out, he digs and appears and another part of the ground (Like smm2 Roy, but doesn’t go to the ceiling, but it would be interesting if you could implement that into a new feature of a boss), and finally he digs out and appears in and random heights. New features: He could split into pieces when hit to fit the mummy vibe a little and then has a tower with a head and without a head and is spiked, and both dig in and out at the same time to create some interesting tension.

    Idea: Add some playable characters with different moves.
    Examples:
    Mario - Normal
    Luigi - Higher Jump
    Peach - Float for seconds
    Toad - Faster Speed
    Wario - Dash Attack
    Waluigi - Double Jump
    You can add more characters than these 6.

    I feel like you should also add the option to like
    -decide what phase the boss spawns in as (1st layer, 2nd layer, 3rd layer and such)
    -choose if it goes in one direction or both directions randomly
    -and give the option to actually make the Mole stay in, making the tank invincible.
    Just so the tank can be used more than just being a boss encounter and could be used in interesting ways like puzzles or gauntlets

    I love this! You did a great job!!
    One thing I would change is the weird glass breaking effect for the defeat animation. All 3 parts should explode randomly but intact like the original NSMB with the mole being shot up then fall down.

    I think you should add a customizable goal post, like either you can move the goal post around the level or set it to end the level as soon as you do something like kill the boss (like clear conditions but more immediate)

I hope one day you can actually post it playable, since I think I can speak for everyone that it would make all of our days.     This is a really good remake of the tank! I personally would recommend giving it bigger particles (also less particles since that would be cluttered), a screen shake and explosions

    A few things that I thought would be cool (but no idea how hard any of this would be to implement):
    - The ability to change the driver of the tank (eg. Spike or a piranha plant or something? Or like, Bowser/Bowser Jr./Kamek?)
    - Ability to change the bomb/bullet projectiles (maybe it could shoot coins or fireballs or something) [obligatory "but can it shoot Bowsers?" meme here]
    - Let the creator change the number of "layers" on the tank (maybe between 1-3 so you don't have to add any extra layers? idk if that would be possible or not... but imagine if this thing had like, 10 layers on it... though, that would probably also be really annoying :P)
    - Let the player drive around in it after, or have an alternate empty tank that you can drive :D
    Again, no clue how difficult any of this stuff would be to code, but my mind just wend crazy thinking of the potential for this thing... lol
    Still not sure if this "Mario Maker 3" thing is a real thing you're making, or just a "concept" for now... but this has been looking really cool so far either way. :D

    I feel like being able to choose which abilities can be used in a level (like in super Mario multiverse, go check it out) would be cool as there is only one style. Like being able to choose if the player can wall jump or pick up items.

    In the original game, the tank also had a feature where if you where standing on the tank when the mole was inside of the tank, it would go into the spinning phase to get the player off of the tank, this would make sense to add in since the mole would immediately take damage with the player standing on the tank. Since the boss was designed with an autoscroller in the original game, have a behavior where the tank goes the other direction when touching a solid object that is in the way, like ground or a twomp for example. Maybe enemies that are not considered a solid object can be ran over by the tank? During the maker, maybe you can choose which direction the tank can go when put on screen?

    What i always wanted in super mario maker, is a ghost house door, that after you exited it, if you try to enter it, it will turn into a coin!

    It looks great, I'd recommend adding a explosion effect similar to the one the Bomb-Ombs have along with the explosion sound effect when the Boss is defeated, that would make it look a bit cooler and would be accurate to the original NSMB animation.

    I had an idea for an item. I don't know how good it is, but I'll put it out there anyway.
    This item is not its own power-up, but when activated or collected, it swaps your interactions with normal enemies and ghosts. This means you can now defeat any ghost enemy by typical means such as jumping on them and using power-up attacks, but in exchange you cannot hurt normal enemies without the same special circumstances you would normally need to defeat ghosts. Boohemoth also becomes vulnerable, though it has as much health as Bowser and hurting it makes it rush forward for a second.

    This is something from the last video, but I have a suggestion that might fix the forward facing banzai bill.
    1. Make the circle/hole that the banzai bill comes out of smaller than the outer square base
    2. Make banzai bills grow in size overtime.
    3. When the edges of the banzai bill's sprite reaches the outer square base, that is when it hits Mario.
    Not sure if it'll actually be enough to convey the distance/time left, but if it does, might be a neat trick to use for any future forward facing entities. Hopefully, this is helpful and not a waste of time lol.

    Looks fantastic. All I'd say is for this boss, since there's a good chance you won't be locked in a scrolling camera fighting this boss, it should be able to turn and travel left as well as right

    i have an idea! you can made an infinite mode where you can play much generated levels with that awesome things who you made in your mario maker game it will look pretty cool and its so fun because you play levels without end so its infinite fun and if you want you can add 10 or more lives you decide how much lives you have but my idea is pretty cool and nice

    I love it a lot, it looks and feel like a Super Mario Maker asset, just one thing tho, instead of using the unity particle system it would feel more authentic if the parts of the tank got all separated and flew off the screen while rotating!

    I kinda wonder how the explosion effect would look if it was a bit more drawn out, like a few smaller explosions of particles before the big final one. Maybe something similar to rocket slime tanks, but of course much less grandiose.

    One thing I would like to see would be a spiky Monty mole tank. The tank would be blue or red and covered in spikes and the Monty mole would wear a matching color shellmet with spikes so you can't jump on him.
    Instead you'll have to jump into the bombs as he throws them and bounce them back at him.

    Hey some quick suggestions! Give the player the option to make the boss go to the left, move back and forth (for small arenas) and let them turn around on a wall, an option for auto scrolling synced with the tank (this will be nice to have), options to adjust the fire rate of the cannons/Monty bombs, speed of the bullet bills/bombs, options to toggle between normal and homing bullet bills.
    This will not be easy to code, but all this would make it a much more interesting boss to put on a course

    I think you did great with this boss. So can i suggest another boss to work on? That being one of the major recurring Mario bosses which somehow isn't in Mario maker: Kamek!
    I imagine Kamek behaving like he does in New super Mario bros. U. Kamek in that game would teleport around the screen a Few times (We’ll say 3-5), before Shooting out a Magikoopa spell, which i see behaving just like the ones used by the Mario maker Magikoopas. Kamek of course takes 3 hits to defeat, but to make things interesting, every time he gets hit he would teleport from place to place faster, meaning you can only really hit him after he casts a spell

    it might be a good idea to add non-boss versions of this guy for more customization. like, being able to choose how many layers it starts with, and choosing whether or not it takes multiple hits to kill, so it could be in more than just boss fight scenarios
