I put a new tusk kit in last year about 10 hours ride time tops on it, I didn’t line those up it’s actually way past the arrow and needs to be brought it but noticed my clutch is sipping in high rpms is that from the adjustment or do you think I’ll need new plates? Thank you very much
you need a longer travel ferrule at the lever/ perch and you need to readjust the pressure plate slack adjuster. If you want to discus this more please feel free to give us a call at 541-419-6054.
@@RedoBansheeParts it’s a stock clutch perch if that helps, i adjusted the clutch on the pressure plate as well, I ordered a new clutch kit and clutch cable , the cable is original from 01 and figured it could be stretched . When I put it all on if it doesn’t line up I’ll reach out! Thank you very much for your time
Thank you! New subscriber just tuned into this. Question, I just replaced the oem clutch perch an handle with an adjustable pro taper set up, that’s it’s. Clutch and cable the same. With the pro taper setup installed (all things being equal) would I need to adjust from the perch or from the clutch nut?
Redo Banshee Parts and Accessories thank you very much! The pro taper clutch perch is significantly different from the oem. Tonight I installed a brand new motion pro clutch cable. Tomorrow night I am going to pull the clutch cover and adjust the nut. The clutch arm and arrow are way out of alignment.. I will definitely call if I run into issues.. Thank you so much!!! 👍🏼💪😎
im gonna buys used banshee and iv never teared down one before.I wanna restore the banshee to a brand new look what would you recommend me to do.Plus do all banshee fenders fit on all the models or are the fenders specific to the exact year?

My clutch engages way late, almost when the clutch lever is near the end of it's release. Will this procedure help engage sooner? Thanks.

All chrome bumpers , grill , and engine. Paint the frame and get some nice plastics of your choice .
All years use the same plastics
Why do you put the line up past a little past
That's just Jim's personal preference because it influences the clutch lever feel.
