Thank you for sharing, this bonnet doesn't need elastic, that is a bonus. I like this one too. Nice job, you even have a tool to size your work, made on the order of a ring sizer, how perfectly ingenious is that. I'll have to make one of those. You rock woman. I was supposed to see your video today, my phone had just dropped to the floor and the case came apart causing me to slow down my scan pace of looking at videos. Thank you so much for sharing your tutorial on how to make the surgical bonnet. I appreciate the way you addressed every step. It made the video a little lengthy, but the finished product was beautiful. That made the time spent so worth it. Both my daughters work in the medical field, & I know they will love this bonnet. Thanks for sharing this video, I have a question concerning the band, you said to fold the band, then sew it, leaving a place to turn it inside out but i sew you only then fold before attaching it to the bonnet, please kindly explain why you didn't do the first one you said? Thanks again
Hello destyle shop, Thank you for that question. So that I can make sure to give you a proper answer, I looked at the part of the video you are talking about, and I don't know why I said that myself.🤔 I didn't sew the band until after it was attached to the cap. That's when I sewed the seam down the length of the head band once it was put in place. I apologize for any confusion. Looking at it again I thought to myself now I'm confused. Then another part of that answer could be that I was just running down what I the next couple of steps were to finishing putting on the headband. But again I apologize for any confusion. Thank you for checking out my channel⚘

Hello Ishmae Bannister... 👋 That's a good question but it's all so real. I would either use interfacing or I would just leave it like it is with no liner at all or use another fabric to make it reversible
I use the measurements of my head, 22 inches, before I started the cap. Hey Angela Peterson, a suggestion for the half circle... make the quarter Circle then once you have made your whole circle from the quarter circle pattern cut your circle in half. Another suggestion is to lay the pattern on your fabric in one direction trace it then you flip it in the opposite direction to create the other side of your half circle. Let me know if you understood what I meant for either suggestion.
Hello Angela Peterson, I'm sorry about the delay in my response to you needing to know how to make a half quarter Circle. Are you trying to make a bonnet or a skirt.
