Thank you for your video and the advice about the satin lining! I made these for nurses at our local hospitals to accommodate braids/extensions. They loved it!! And who knew a video on capmaking could be so entertaining! Keep up the good work!
I feel like this is the perfect accessory for the nurse who is attending a Jane Austen party right after work. Ta-da! Scrub cap turns into satin turban!
Girrrll ! that was awsome, I use to sew years ago, in high school I took a seamstress class, now I use tape to hem my petite length pants😊. I purchased a second sewing, which I may need a tutor to help me. One day. I will make some for work and home.I enjoyed your video.
You made this look so easy. Thank you. Dental assistant and we have to cover our hair when we work with patients involving aerosol. I have been wanting make me a bonnet like that but I could not find a video that was easy to follow and very simple. Can’t wait to pick my fabrics up so I can make this bonnet. Thank you.
I had been making these with smaller measurements and I'm so glad I came across your video! 1. The brim added is amazing. 2. So thankful for the note card. 3 You are HILARIOUS. And, if you want to see how I pull my "strings" through the casing quicker (and need a good laugh) let me know!
Shalon! I’m Messianic, and we cover our head with a mitpachat. So I’m definitely going to take advantages of your pattern and use it on my everyday wear! Yahweh be with you!
Great and super clear video and explanation. Would it be possible to use a stretchy fabric and if so would the measurements be the same? Thanks so much.
I love you to pieces!! I have been doing masks. Got a girl asking for satin bonnet headwrap and man you delivered and made it fun to learn something new. Subscribed. THANK YOU!!!
Girl, I love you. You are so interesting and entertaining please do not stop making videos. You got this sis. Just be you. You had me laughing and I spilled my O.J.

I'm hoping to make a cap following your instructions for my sister who is undergoing chemotherapy. The smoother lining should make it more comfortable. Thanks.
This scrub bonnet is easy and faster to make i have a lot of orders to go out after watching this video my projects will be done in have the time it would take me otherwise. I love the way you present your project very entertaining and funny Love Ya!!
You are just beautiful both in and out. I have watched different versions but yours makes more sense . Other types when you flip it over, you can't tie it because the tie will be inside. Thank you so much and God bless you.
Question? So you made the tie 30 inches long by 6 inches fold over to make it 3 inches wide? Sew it then fold it in half and cut it? So you have 2? Then use 8 inches of elastic to attach them together? For the tie? In the end the tie is 3 inches in width? Each piece is 15 inches in length? Attach them to each other with 8 inches of elastic?
Hi I just started making mask and I came across this video, you had me laughing so hard. I love this bonnet scrub, and I really want to make it. My hair is getting thin on top, hard to style, but making one of these, are so pretty, quick and easy cover up. Thank you, funny girl. I Subscribed for sure. 😁🤣😃

I’m just learning to sew and most people are boring but you are amazing 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻Ty I just want to learn how to sew 🪡 someone of the old people are so boring and I feel asleep watching them
Yep im not clear on the tie? So yellow one is 51/2 inches wide and is the total length before you cut into 2 is length 45 inches? Or is each tie 45 inches? Same question for the red one is blue tie total lenth before cutting 60inches? Each tie is 30 inches long? Or is total lenth 30 inches before cutting with each tie 15 inches? Thank you so much
In stead of a safety pin, l like to use a metal hanger. You cut the hanger part off and turn the ends with a part of needle nose pliers. This works great on thin material and thick like jean.
Nice job! Thank you. Please where what is the name of the iron you used and some of the tools you used here? They are handy and nice. I will like to get them. Thank you

Hey Beautiful, I love your scrub hat bonnet... Really very beautiful. I had watched your video over 10 times, and no I am not a stalker... haha.. to get the measurements right. Today I figured out, you were doing two hats and not one. I am disable, I think maybe I needed to be more awake to see what your doing. I was confused your yellow material and blue material for the ribbon was two different sizes. Is that because each one turned out differently? Today I am going to work on my first one. I have to say, I worked on Covid masks for a long time and finally bought one and actually used that pattern to use as my example. After that I was crusing along in making perfectly fitted masks. Yesterday I went out and bought enough material for 4 scrub hats. But today I thought I would use left over fabric as my example. So I am not crushed if it is messed up. I love your hat. @@trinityuncut Thanks again!!! I finally made the one that you were wearing and absolutely love it. Now someone wants me to make this same style without the straps. 🙄 I've only been sewing for a month but sure, I guess I might be able to figure it out.
Oh my🤗.. I love your energy! Your video was entertaining and very easy to follow. You truly have a gift! I’ve already subscribed and will be looking forward to more of your tutorials. Thanks!
Question, I made one and gave it to my co-worker in ICU and she wore it today...Says the stitching where the two are sewn together at the brim hurts her skin. They have to wear them for 12 hours at least and tie it kind of tight to make it stay on due to it being satin and slippery. Is there a trick, or is it just my thread isn't soft? She doesn't want me to sew the two together there, but I wouldn't know how to do it otherwise. LOL. Any advice would help. I thought maybe making the stitching not so tight would help but I just tried it and still seems kinda rough. The ties of mine are satin too
So sorry for my late response! Are you saying at the front of the bonnet or at the back of it? I’ve worn mine for over a day because I was deep conditioning and I didn’t have any issues.
@@trinityuncut that's OK, thanks for responding at all. It's the front, but I figured it out, it's my OLD sewing machine! Have to keep rethreading the bobbin over and over until it doesn't pucker the thread anymore even though threading the bobbin thru the machine is done the same way each time. 🤷🏻♀️. It wasn't making the thread tight even if I increased the tension all the way. Looks like it's time for a new sewing machine 👍👍😊
