85 Honda Shadow VT700C Carburetors Cleaned.

  • In this video, I take the carbs off of the $350 Honda Shadow VT700C. When I took the bowls off, I noticed that one of them had green gas residue. I first cleaned them off with diesel fuel. Then, after taking them apart, I soaked them in the ultrasonic cleaner. They came out pretty good. I hope that you like this video. Please like, share, and subscribe. Stay safe. #ultrasonic

    I'm in the middle of a complete rebuild of an 86 Vt700c. Very difficult the find stock bikes being worked on on youtube

      I know. A lot of people turn these bikes into cafe racers and bobbers. I like the way they look stock.

      hey, from Argentina, working on my 86 vt700c. No videos on youtube whatsoever, managed to rebuild it pretty good. out of stock of upper carb boots, instrument panel and some more, how are u doing?

    Do you heat plastic and rubber with a hair dryer?

      That is a Harbor Freight heat gun that I was using. I found out that heating up the rubber on the intake makes it easier to remove and install the carbs on these old bikes. Thanks for watching and noticing that.
