You two are worlds ahead of any other sailing channel. You are well equipped, well organized and an excellent team. My respect to you.. I wish you good winds. Have not missed one episode 👌👊
I just wanted to reiterate in different words what I said about a previous video of yours - your ocean and wave photography/filming are streets ahead of the other channels. You really do have the skill or gift or both to show the life of the sea itself and its impact on a yacht and yourselves. Thank you.
We Ripples In Lake Orion Michigan agree Your photography of Oceans is amazing wild or peaceful we love watching the two of you for almost 4 years; Through Bills Kidney Transplant 2 days before Christmas then follow up by Multiple Covid outbreaks-People with Transplants are on immune suppressed medications--two months ago he made it through a heart Attack 😝-But Like the Two of you we watch you sailing and We Carry on too!😅❤🎉
I agree, they are way ahead of me capturing the sea state and wind conditions. Would pay for a good course from them. I just subscribed. Wondering if they even have a drown.
No matter where you two go, far flung regions or stem to stern, you regale your audience with the interesting and educational - brilliant and thank worthy!
Two of the bravest people I've seen. You just seem to take everything in stride, prepare the best you can and deal with the rest. Thank you for the video!
Great idea to do an "at sea" boat tour. The focus is so different from the normal boat tours we all love to watch, but all the more interesting for that. Loved the notion of "having a holiday" up on the foredeck. We feel exactly the same way when we venture up there after a few days in the cockpit. It's amazing how refreshing it feels just having a different view of the world after days on end staring at a pretty identical ocean framed by the dodger. The reefing sequence was fun too - the music perfect to convey the "dance" required as you shuffled backwards and forwards between winches for the halyard and reefing lines. Another great episode, as always.
My wife and I sailed the coast of Alaska for 20+ years from the late 80's to the early 2000's during the summer for months at a time and covered hundreds of miles each year. I miss those days.
You guys are something else. You look calm and relaxed....just ahead of a storm. Exceptional. Once again a brilliantly curated video I look forward with some trepidation to the next episode knowing that weather like that will lay ahead of us at some point.
The thought that this trip around the world is nearly over brings tears to my eyes because will we ever see yous again , will we see Florence again after this advantcer , it's been great watching you's two sail around the world , if yous do deside to go around the round agsin i will be a patreon member , i've never sailed in my life but that still doesn't stop me loving me loving all 3 of you's
is there any difference in ''bad weather'' between different oceans? some people say the indian ocean is the roughest ,other say north atlantic, for some is the south pacific etc. is there a sbjective aspect of it where people speak from their own experience of only places where they sailed or there are also other factors such as currents, seabed topography? Example : a force 8 storm, would it look/feel different in north sea than in south atlantic? thanks
What a adventure you have been on, remember when you get home the call of the sea. I think every one who watches want more. We will not mind you having a week or two off.HAHAHA
Amazing video of giant sailing waves while crossing the North Atlantic! You both are the best, most fearless sailors ever! Very inspiring and although we live aboard and are fair weather sailors, I do admire your courage!
A great tour of all the knowledge gained and put to practical use. Florance has a great layout and lends itself to safe passage making and a comfortable home too. Nearing the end of an epic journey!
Amy - in your first boat tour video you said in your intro about Florence that you "absolutely love her" and you repeated it again in this one 😀 When you said that last time that was the spark made us look for, and then buy, Adastra. And guess what, we absolutely love her too! 😍
Florence reminds me of my friends Forgus 37, a Swedish yacht built in the 80s. Scary waves at the end of the video -looking forward to the next episode. Sail safe
Dear Amy and Matt, absolutely facilitating thank you both. You are an inspiration to us all. Your courage and example lifts us all. I guess you are looking forward to your homecoming. Also to enjoy being back in a real bed with some home cooking. Not nearly as exciting though.
To be so comfortable in explaining your imminent predicament, and then actioning the necessary maneuvers, all the while explaining your day to day duties to the likes of your viewers, you really are sailors" sailors.
As always, your excellent videos are over too soon! You are both amazing sailors, and Florence is a wonderful boat. I can understand why you don’t want to give her up! Can you possibly add a water maker when you work on her back in England?
Great episode! I really appreciated things like the drogue being relocated for the passage and the janky cabinet closures, they are so real and so relevant. Sit to pee gents, yes really! I hope, and assume, you aren’t out there with all those nasty tropical systems floating around the Atlantic. Fair winds and following seas!
Amazing! You should be paid as testers by yacht designers for showing design flaws like the cutlery drawer opening 🤣. Glad you had a cupboard to lean against while cooking in stormy seas. Hope you didn’t have too many injuries while cooking! Loved following you on your journeys with my feet firmly on solid ground. 👍.
Well done guys. Pulling the camera out during heavy weather is the last thing I would be able to do. Its these times I accel at hiding in the bunk. Respect to you both.
Thanks for posting. So true regards the extra 20 litres of diesel. Though judging by the gale force wind and waves it may be working a little too well. Cheers Ian
always a pleasure to watch your channel. i cant understand why you arent at 300k subs. my only explanation is: most ppl are actually tasteless. fair winds
We're slowly catching up on your real time. As mentioned last time, with the wind and waves behind you, your "world of followers" await to see how well you coped with the crossing. In two weeks then - à la prochaine.!
I was just thinking that you guys could grow sprouts when you don’t have access to fresh food. Here are pea sprouts, we live aboard and have grown alfalfa, beans, broccoli, sunflowers, etc. I am gonna the peas next. I sent you the link to a good method.
Although living very close to Port Solent I can not come to welcome you home I'm afraid. I am in Albania and wishing you all the best on your homecoming.
Great tour of your lovely boat. I have followed you both for three years. I have watched most all of your episodes and left thumbs up. One question is how do you like Florence's dark deck when its sunny? I have heard they get really hot for bare feet plus can warm the cabin up? All the Very Best! Jim Rodgers
All decks get hot in the tropics, the grey treadmaster is almost too hot to walk on sometimes but it is always much cooler than the teak deck in the cockpit which will burn your feet! However that only when you are really close to the equator, the rest of the time e.g. Caribbean both are fine.
I think this may be one of my (many) favorite episodes. The 'wind-guaranteeing fuel can' is a bombproof strategy, though looking at the upcoming gale perhaps it needed to be slightly just 5 litres?
This video made me laugh more than any other. It made me think 'Road Maps... Roooaaad Maaapps!!!' I still have my trusted A-Z stowed in the car..! But not sure if it even shows some newer roads 🤣 Thank you for the tour - it really is good to see yous guys sailing in a somewhat older boat (no disrespect intended), rather than the brand spanking new Cats that seems to have become all the rage (even though that's what I would prefer...). I do hope that you remain safe and happy on your way back to this grey land of no palm trees ❤
You guys are so impressive! I know each person runs their boat slightly differently but it's hard to fault your logic. Love the 10l jerry can of diesel! I use paper charts on our last 1000 mile trip, but, like you had the chart plotter, ipad and hand held gps as back ups, all I did on the paper charts was log our position, which was written in the log anyway-- so that if the shit hit the fan, we could easily see our last position to read out on the radio. I'm amazed you've done all you have on two 125 watt panels. incredible! Phil PS--I'm a cat sailor-- hope this does not disqualify me? but we also don't have a gimbaled stove...
Yes looks like it was tooting a bit there, come on where are you I want to give you a wave as you sail by, or you can have a fish for tea if your close enough seen as you haven't caught one for a while.
So tidy inside! Where are seven years' worth of clothes and accumulated junk? And you are always so well turned out and well groomed. Where are the bags under the eyes after a night watch? Extraordinsry. I suppose you are nearly home now; will you catch our late summer heatwave or the firstof theautumn gales in the Channel?
All junk hidden in the quarter berth, did you notice we didn't show that bit? You can't have junk out in the cabin when sailing offshore as it would get thrown about and invariably hit you in the head when you are sleeping... voice of experience ;-)
You know for all the thousands of people who own yachts there are only a few who dare to do what you do. Around the world and across oceans in a 37ft boat, congratulations & thanks for the ride along.
I enjoyed your content as a sailor myself as im sure many of your subscribers are as a pagan and there are millions of us here around the world the sea gods to us are absolutely real it is certainly not voodoo are what ever it is with intention in your hearth and offer an intention to the gods for a safe passage we honour them we remember them and we thank them connection to our ancestors is key sailors are very superstitious and all will come to the pagan gods when at sea for a safe passage as said I enjoyed your content and like others you guys have an amazing trip 7 years wow and offer great advice to others thank you so much for this channel
You two are worlds ahead of any other sailing channel. You are well equipped, well organized and an excellent team.

Have not missed one episode 👌👊

Those last ocean wave images are the best I have ever seen on film apart from when we sailed indian ocean and dreaded mocambique channel

Another great episode, as always.
You make such a great couple and are so switched on to efficiently and effectively sailing the Oceans. ⛵🗺
This is by far my favourite sailing channel. Great footage and very informative!
My wife and I sailed the coast of Alaska for 20+ years from the late 80's to the early 2000's during the summer for months at a time and covered hundreds of miles each year. I miss those days.
Your channel is brilliant best sailing channel on TH-cam ❤️stay safe
You guys are something else. You look calm and relaxed....just ahead of a storm. Exceptional. Once again a brilliantly curated video I look forward with some trepidation to the next episode knowing that weather like that will lay ahead of us at some point.
Thank you for sharing. Your videos never disappoint. See ya, the next episode looks nail-biting. 💅👄
Ruddy heck, those waves at the end were a little scary. Thank you for this episode; it put a lot of previous assumptions secure.
those waves are how they are, and if they are too bad then you dont have the camera out there. So those waves are pretty much normal.
❤ you 2 are true sailors. Love watching and listening to your sailing journey.
You guys are AMAZING...that's all I have to say.. except... Blessings 🙏❤️
That was so interesting! And can’t wait to see what happens with those big seas!
Both of you are amazing, thank you for the boat tour.
Yes North Atlantic can be rugged, biggest waves I’ve ever encountered sailing, well done you two.
is there any difference in ''bad weather'' between different oceans? some people say the indian ocean is the roughest ,other say north atlantic, for some is the south pacific etc. is there a sbjective aspect of it where people speak from their own experience of only places where they sailed or there are also other factors such as currents, seabed topography? The last storm shots reminded me of when I crossed W to E and vowed never to again! Stay safe guys and thanks you for the excellent videos 👍👍
I've been sailing in Force 8, even force 10 gusting 11 once but FIVE DAYS!!! OMG!
What heros you are!
Congratulations on the Circumnavigation, I hope that you aren't finished sailing, love you y'all and wish you all the very best 💕
Hi guys please stay safe I so much enjoy your videos
I’m getting sea sick just watching the waves
Such an epic journey!
What a adventure you have been on, remember when you get home the call of the sea. I think every one who watches want more. We will not mind you having a week or two off.HAHAHA
Awesome! Thanks, you two adventurers!
Amazing video of giant sailing waves while crossing the North Atlantic! You both are the best, most fearless sailors ever! Very inspiring and although we live aboard and are fair weather sailors, I do admire your courage!
Can't wait. So interesting and presumably you have made it through the bad weather.
Nice tour guys. I'm on tenterhooks for the next one - that looks like some proper sporty sailing coming up!
Outstanding episode! One of your best and so appreciated. Thank You!
As always, sooo good & such a lot of professional effort into each episode. Your parents must be so proud of you & your achievements👍👏👏👍👍🇬🇧🇦🇺
A great tour of all the knowledge gained and put to practical use. Florance has a great layout and lends itself to safe passage making and a comfortable home too. Nearing the end of an epic journey!

😃👍👍👍❤ Found you guys during the "lock down" and never left. Following you from Seattle, WA (Northwest USA)
That was a great video both of you. Those waves at the end were scary. From the safety of my living room in California.🤟🏻💜🫶🐬😎⛵️🇺🇸
Another wonderful and informative video! We will all go into withdraws when you return to England! Safe sailing!
Florence reminds me of my friends Forgus 37, a Swedish yacht built in the 80s. Scary waves at the end of the video -looking forward to the next episode. Sail safe
I enjoyed the tour very much, especially liked seeing the rough water views at the end!
Safe travels!
JIM ❤
ThankYou for sharing all this with us. I've been a supporter since the early days.
Dear Amy and Matt, absolutely facilitating thank you both. You are an inspiration to us all. Your courage and example lifts us all. I guess you are looking forward to your homecoming. Also to enjoy being back in a real bed with some home cooking. Not nearly as exciting though.
I understand that video doesn’t do the waves justice…. But holy crap those look enormous!😳
Thanks for the tour - so interesting! You are very well organized. Experience pays off!

I've been unable to follow much for a year and a half or so, back on top now. Wonderful video, as always. 😁😁👍👍🍺
Beautiful, well done guys, that next leg looks like it's going to be a dilly!!!!! 👍👏👏👏
Next vid look exciting, sea is moving in every direction! This is what makes a real sailor.
Way to give us goosies with that edge of the seat ending!
Great job Matt and Amy. Good luck.
Another great episode- thank you- safe travels

So knowledgeable and resourceful. I’ll keep watching.
So true! (In good conditions) lounging on the fore deck is the best. Completely different world.
You guys are awesome! Can’t wait for the next video.
Amazing! You should be paid as testers by yacht designers for showing design flaws like the cutlery drawer opening 🤣. Glad you had a cupboard to lean against while cooking in stormy seas. loved your video this week! You are certainly a well made team!

Looking forward to the next episode 😁
Another wonderfully inspirational video guys.

Excellent and Masterful 👏👏👏
I visited Bermuda in 1966 and it was so expensive then. I was glad to leave the place. South Africa was the most inexpensive place.
You all are such a jolly good couple 😊
Greetings from your American cousins in Central California!
wow ep, open ocean indeed!
You guys are amazing.
Brilliant Video ! Not a dull moment !
A nice surprise to bump into you today ⛵️👍. If you need any help or advice regarding the local area just let me know.

Much respect to you two. Have followed you for some years now. I grew up in Gosport and I hope to be in Portsmouth to welcome you back on the 23rd...
Love your work
Thank you for sharing these details! Very interesting 😊 safe travels! Thomas
Thanks for another great video. Would love to see a "Top 5 most difficult passages" video or something along those lines
I was just thinking that you guys could grow sprouts when you don’t have access to fresh food. Here are pea sprouts, we live aboard and have grown alfalfa, beans, broccoli, sunflowers, etc. I am gonna the peas next. I sent you the link to a good method.

Excellent tour at sea and how it is or worse
Excellent video. Thanks for the tour.
Excellent.

Great tour !! then some serious swells 🌊

fascinating stuff ! thank You both -from Ireland 🙂.God Bless !
Amazing as always - thank you

Built in Wroxham by Norfolk craftsmen in England near to where I live, did the same trip on a cruise ship. Bon voyage .
I can’t wait for the next video. Sounds like it’s going to be scary.
This video made me laugh more than any other.
It made me think 'Road Maps... Roooaaad Maaapps!!!'

Mid way, means your half way to your away point. Good sailing.
That cloud at the end looked scary
nice video. I'd like to know how you reef down your main at the mast end from the cockpit. ?
Yes looks like it was tooting a bit there, come on where are you I want to give you a wave as you sail by, or you can have a fish for tea if your close enough seen as you haven't caught one for a while.

Can’t wait for the next one. Looks mad.
Love you. Still the best sailing channel.
