They would have rotated the motor to a different spot for each cylinder. The combustion stroke when all valves are close is necessary to hold the air pressure that holds the valve you're working on.
we kept the stock factory lifters, the car seems to be running good, only problem we are seeing are the cams around idle are causing the timing chain tensioner to make some noise
