My work Psychiatrist said I couldn't continue to work, and they didn't say that without major justification, thank goodness I had some insurance, because they also agreed that I could no longer work and paid just enough that I could manage to keep a roof over my head, but while I fought a hard (after two years a winning battle) against my illness and got myself back into work, I reluctantly applied for disability allowance, after a 15 minute interview they said I had no grounds at all for disability allowance. AND THIS WAS 27 YEARS AGO!!! I had no personal resources or will left to fight the decision, there must be many thousands of people in the same boat, and the Billionaire tax avoider wants to target a miniscule amount of benefits savings to buy a few votes. Anyone remember how much Truss cost you and I, and how long we will be paying it back? Party of fiscal responsibility my armpit. Rant over.
