Your Frenchie is a masterpiece, Louise, the eyes are especially stunning! It will be fun to try to emulate your careful application of paint in all of the tiny details. Your bloopers are adorable, as always, and it was nice to get a glimpse of Dom - photo bombing, as we call it, or video bombing?! He's really cute Louise. I was actually going to ask you if you ever use more than 3 colours when yippee you used 6 this time. I note the pallet in your intro with all thecolours and wondered if you ever use a full pallet....the studio is coming along amazingly.....naughty naughty hubby thats not the first time he has interrupted you for coffee😡🤣🤣 its a shame you have to do so many extra paintings for Patreon. Are you not allowed to take a break? You can bet your Patreons do...they wouldn't be saying " sorry cant make that picnic or party because Louise spent all her time making videos just for us!!" Have a very merry Christmas Louise and buy your hubby a thermos so he doesnt interrupt again.🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Thanks Janice. Buy the very best paper you can afford- 100% cotton. Paper is the most important supply. Stay away from pulp paper. Buy some synthetic watercolour brushes in a few different sizes. I use to use Winsor & Newton Cotman brushes when I first started. Buy yourself a cool and warm blue, a cool and warm red and a transparent yellow in whatever paint brand are interested in. You can mix most colours with those. I mainly use Winsor & newton professional grade.

@@watercoloracademy1083 Which one Bannie? It may have been an older tutorial you were looking at. I have been including them in most of the tutorials I made this year.
It seems that you have simplified your palette, do you still use the large round palette? The techniques you use to paint the dog to give it a 3D look are excellent teaching points :)
Thank you. I do yes when I can paint without the cameras. It's too big to fit under the camera and the mixing palette is too small so I use the smaller palettes when I'm filming.
