So I just watch this video again haha, and one thing I forgot to add to the conclusion is the Frank is effectively an accord engine accords are cruisers. If you need to do any sort of motorway mileage or anything of that type of daily driving, it’s perfect. But with the z4 head with the cams on vtec it’s a beast that doesn’t try to kill you
Brilliant! I bet that’s a laugh. Really enjoy the instant torque on the Frank. For me it felt sentimental, it feels like fast NA cars used to a decade ago before everything went turbo

I really appreciate your honesty and lack of bias, especially when there's so much press out there claiming that EP3s are superior and the FN2 only has a marginal 1 hp advantage. Your objective evaluation shows that the FN2 is actually a fantastic daily car. Adding a K24 engine not only brings back the lost power in the lower revs but also transforms it into a truly impressive machine, just as it was intended by the factory. Moreover, I commend you for investing your time in creating such engaging videos that showcase your passion and inspire viewers. Keep up the excellent work!
Were you on standard springs, i have tein springs fitted to mine but tempted to stick the standard springs back on, ive forgotten if it was more comfortable with the standard springs.
Tried them all went back to a stock for ride height, issue with my area is speed bumps and 3” exhaust catching on everything! Teins are way way more comfy that eibach though and less ‘crashy’ than OEM
Yeah it’s wedged in there on the shaft driven ones. It’s a lightweight half size thing too.. Scuttle tray off, it’s a bit of a faff to be honest so make sure you fit a decent one!!

To be avoided as it has no intercooler -Super sports Gen 1 kit. 350-370bhp but deletes the inlet manifold so looses out down low. -Full race, sits at the bottom can fit any size charger but deletes the AC -Shaft drive Gen 2 kit, best kit for road car, everything is better and improved in the kit vs the Gen 1. Shaft drive keeps the AC can fit any size charger and keeps the manifold so makes “turbo beating low down power but still blistering up top” to quote TTS
@@IslandFN2 can’t see it atm, their website is down. But if that’s the super sport shaft drive kit it’s the same one I have. With the 3” exhaust it made the big numbers
@@Matty_Champwhite wouldnt miss it for the world mate ;) we so need to do a future one comparing both of yours to say a stock fk2r and fk8 perhaps? see what differences are gen to gen over stock. i can think of a champ white 9G who would be up for it ;) Hemms would be up for a stock fk2 id imagine.

If 4 parts means, bigger injectors, ported IM, 12,5 comp pistons, and a fully built head + stage 3 cams, yes, 4 parts and you will have 300hp 😂😂😂

Mines got Eagle rods and revs out to around 8.3k
