Long time runner off and on. I ran competitively at a young age but had an L5-S1 laminectomy. Since then I have been able to pick up my passion for running again and love trails. I wanted to try this pair because I need the cushion for my back. Great review, one of the best on the Caldera 6. Confident in my purchase now after the education on it! Thank you!

I wear a 2E in the Ghost, Cascadia, and the Glycerin. Do you think these would work for me? I have been waiting for the Cascadia 17 (cant find a Cascadia 16 in 13 (2E) for the life of me) Is the Cascadia 17 coming out soon?

They are pretty roomy, so they may work. I would definitely try them on before ordering if you can, though. The Cascadia is one of those shoes that are hard to get currently, but it appears there may be some available within the next couple of days. The Cascadia 17 is not due until mid next year.

Look Brooks, you need to make this shoe a little lighter. Take off 3-ounces and I "WILL" by a third pair of these shoes. As it stands, this is NOT 'my go to shoe' - it's a little clunky. DO NOT introduce a Caldera 7 and call it an upgrade if it is heavier, needs to be lighter. Stop this race to heaviness - Damn It. Seriously! Listen to me. Listen to us runners out here. BTW - I've owned multiple pairs of all the Caldera models. I am sticking with HOKA unless you can lightening it up.
