The BBOTT final 4 HOH competition also had a hack in it. In this challenge, players had to maneuver balls up a board to designated holes (balls representing HOH wins throughout the season), putting 9 in place while avoiding random cutout holes. Some players chose to work from the top down, but others decided to work from the bottom up. This is where Jason hacked the competition. While he got more practice as he went, by putting the lower balls in first, he essentially filled in some of the holes that his ball would normally fall right through and trip him up. Jason can then be seen moving higher-up balls quickly up the sides of the board, moving over the filled-in spaces. Jason essentially only had to move his next balls up the board (aside from the occasional maneuver) and didn't have to actually avoid all of the holes his ball could have fallen off the board through. Jason dominates this competition, and the hack proved successful.
Jared's hack wasn't really a hack. He gained 1 point on all the people who bet on him but lost 2 points to Nick (Nick got 3 he got 1). Had he won, he would've still gained 1 point on all the bettors (3 to 2) but now have gained 2 points on Nick (3 to 1).

Not another BB hack in the first HOH competition of BB26! During the New Rule competition, players had to slide disks across a very slippery screen and get point in round 2 of the competition. However, after the first player slid their disk off the board due to a lack of friction, Rubina chose to throw diagonally across the square board instead of from the side. The increased distance for the disk helped her get a good score for her team easily!
Cody bb19 the he didn't get stuck in the vines he went to the side where there were less and swung through them. We could see him pass others teams to do it! The comp where Josh took the golden apple.
I watched Big Brother along with my mother, at the same time I was watching Survivor and Amazing Race with her, but damn, I would love more of this series.
Last night there was another competition hack! During the week 3 BBAI Arena competition of BB26 (narrowing the houseguests on the block from three to two), the nominees played a version of the carnival game 'Money Chamber' with specific red-colored balls. As a vent blew the balls around, grabbing them out of the air was really hard. Tucker hacked this challenge by kneeling over the vent and blocking a bunch of the air from coming out, causing more of the balls to cluster in front of him, which he controlled with his knees. He blew the other competitors out of the water. He can also be heard discussing the strategy during the rolling credits of the episode. So many hacks!
Yet Another Hack (though it didn't necessarily cause a winner directly): BB Can Season 3 during the episode 10 veto challenge where players had to use an oversized airsoft gun to knock down their opponents' faces to knock them out of the competition. Many players held their guns standing up, as the challenge suggested, but multiple chose to hold them while kneeling or laying down to get more stability to their shot (to mixed results, but overall an extremely good strategy for someone with any struggle with the size, weight, or stability). Bobby even mentions firing when exhaling, as it is a hunting technique to get a better shot. Additionally, in one shot, Bobby plays with the distance from which he is shooting. While most players stand in the box, Bobby lays further away BEHIND the firing line to experiment with his chances. Bobby didn't end up winning, but he used good techniques that could further be mastered.
Not a hack, but another strategy here too: Players could block one target to potentially save their face from being knocked down, but could only block one face while the other player didn't see. Kevin actively talked to Sarah to gauge which one she blocked and read her facial reactions. Kevin correctly guessed this and was the only player to use this. However, this did have a good amount of luck.
I'd love one about the BB comics and the strategies... I have my own idea. Of what I'd do, but it's been around enough that I kinda wanna see the winners and what they said they did.
Is BBOTT counting? This probably happened in similar comps across other seasons too. During the second HOH, houseguests had to use a pole to hold up a paper(?) crown cutout on an image of themselves and not drop it. After a period of time, houseguests had to move to using only one hand instead of two. However, many houseguests held the pole against their chests too, creating the needed pressure to keep the crown up without putting as much strain on their wrists and making the competition significantly easier. Whitney has a segment where she addresses using her stomach to hold the pole up, meaning this strategy wasn't against the rules. Yet not everyone did it, and using this strategy would definitely help the longevity of holding up the pole.
Another Hack: BB Can Season 7 during the episode 9 Buzzkill challenge: players had to hit a button when an alarm sounded, with the last being eliminated. A temptation was put up of pizza and beer, but players had to leave their buttons to eat. Dane hacked this by running to eat right after a buzzing in 'round', since he knew another buzz wouldn't come until the round fully reset. His hack got him the reward without ever having any real danger.
And Another Hack! In the first live HOH competition of BB US season 23, players had to solve a plexiglass puzzle in heats in order to earn a spot in the final competition for the HOH. The concept of the puzzle was that each player had 5 plexiglass sheets with partial images on them that they needed to put in a particular order in a box (that also had some wrong images in it that needed to be covered) to form a final image. However, getting the sheets into the box was tricky, and Whitney showed this when she struggled to get them in. However, in Christian's heat (heat 3), he choose to arrange them on the ground while looking at the puzzle key (another advantage since he wouldn't have to move back to compare the two images). This allowed him to quickly switch the sheets around and win his heat. From what can be seen in the live coverage, Sarah Beth and Tiffany also appear to use a similar strategy.
As a follow-up to this during the second part of the HOH competition House of Cards in the same episode: In teams, team captains had to stack puzzle pieces shaped like stacked cards in order to form a 'house of cards' stack while the other players on their team held up the base they were building on. While the other 3 team captains jus started putting pieces in their base, Claire laid out the pieces on the ground in front of her to get the correct order before stacking. Whitney also either saw her or had a similar idea, since she ended up doing the same moments later. While neither won, if the puzzle had been a bit more complicated (and players had to do more problem-solving) this would have been the clear dominating strategy.
Jared's strategy actually wasn't good because if he won, he would have gotten 3 points and everyone else would have gotten 2 or net +1 for him. By losing, he gets 1 point and everyone else gets 0 or also +1 for him. WInning would have been better as he would have been able to get +2 points on Nick instead of -2 by losing.

I do really love Michael, but for some reason I don't feel like his wins measure up to janelle's. Janelle usually had the entire house against her, and they were playing HARD. they all wanted to win SO bad, she had some serious competition. I don't know if the houseguests are getting weaker or just have less of a drive to win, but it just seems like what Michael was competing against is levels below what Janelle was. Also, BB reuses the same comps year after year, and I'm sure superfan Michael had them all practically memorized and engrained in his bones before playing, whereas Janelle was seeing these comps for the first time and immediately dominated.
How can Michael talk shit about everyone in the game, belittle them and spread lies yet he’s being considered a good player? If people said he was horrible at a challenge they’d get canceled 😏

i think what he did was def dirty gameplay, but Michael is not racist at all. nor is he a “sorry human” and Kyle def got what was coming to him by trying to start an all-white alliance to strike first against an imaginary POC alliance
@@SchmergDergen you seem to be taking the acknowledgment of racism awfully personally in this comment section babe. also Kyle got a really good edit and Michael got a really bad one because production didn’t want to deal with the acknowledgment of racism on their show and they were hoping that Michael would forget about it. Kyle was lost certainly racist and it was racially motivated by attempting to start an all-white alliance called “the silent majority” because Joseph monte and Taylor were quote “the loud ones in the group” when they all irrefutably had kyle’s back. Also, he was quick to jump on the subject of the cookout without any evidence whatsoever, making race a prevalent topic on his mind. It was racist. and Michael and Brittany immediately told him no and stated why they wouldn’t be doing that, and hoped that Kyle would let it go. But after dyre fest, it was clear that Kyle exploded the alliance all on his own, and they had no reason to hope for his loyalty anymore. Thus they exposed his racist way of thinking.

So glad Michael was voted out. He threw his little hissy fit (that's how most gay people I know react) then when he saw Julie he knew he acted like a douche and admitted it. He said it was game play. However, if someone did that to him he would demand CBS bring hate crime charges to that person and the alphabet soup community would be outraged.
Do you think sometimes "hacking" goes too far? I think Michaels record is hugely tainted because he spent all his time watching videos and practicing comps. He even played a mock BB game in college like BB Prep School. Its almost like he cheated to the 750K based on it being unfair advantages. If you want to make BB a sport then okay lets make everyone an athlete. With all these recruits this is like putting LeBron into the YMCA game. Most of these people have no idea what these comps are and are just here like Alyssa, Monte, Terrance. Do you really think Janelle is worse, when she had a hostile house, no preknowledge of all or most comps, she had a lot less physicality than a 6'4" male? Janelle would imo if you made up new comps and deaged her to 25 years old beat Michael 70% of the time because she has real fire and real guts. Just showing Michael at 9min and everyone else at the same time in the BB Comics comp proves he's just beyond them all and its not fair. Loving the respect for the Jenius herself in this one 😌
Damn. That Jared one is good
Yesss that intro !!
I’m currently watching the fourth season of bbcan 😂
I'd love one about the BB comics and the strategies... I have my own idea. Of what I'd do, but it's been around enough that I kinda wanna see the winners and what they said they did.
2:30 FORESHADOWING!!
You know, now that I think about it, I'd say the entire concept of Big Brother was likely inspired by musical chairs. =P
I'm pretty sure it was inspired by Duck Duck Goose.
Michael should have taken a competition hack from Ian and tried to win competitions when he needed to win and he threw the ones he didn't need to win.
Big brother needs to come out with new games
His hack got him the reward without ever having any real danger.
maddy from bbcan4 is underrated
How in the world did I forget about Waaaamber?
These comps used to last for hours. Now these young people can’t even last an hour.
Not true, if I was doing the wall comp a part of me would try to crouch on the block or face backwards and crouch.
What about Arle’s POV win in the double eviction of BB Canada 2 episode 17. I just watched it and 1 he beasted it and 2 he definitely hacked it.
Also after watching this episode…what about a video on the history of rogue votes in big brother?
Jared's strategy actually wasn't good because if he won, he would have gotten 3 points and everyone else would have gotten 2 or net +1 for him. By losing, he gets 1 point and everyone else gets 0 or also +1 for him. WInning would have been better as he would have been able to get +2 points on Nick instead of -2 by losing.
Watching Michael just makes me sad now
@@SchmergDergen come on man I can understand not liking michael but too think less of all lawyers because of one big brother player is kinda overreacting
The season with Natalie, Corey and James was the best one for sure
So cool
Still don't understand the stay or fold hack
Basically you and one other person need to stay while the others fold. Rinse and repeat until you get the desired number of points.
same that comp confuses me because I feel like they if have to determine their decisions before anyone says it out loud, then the strategy doesn’t work
So Brittany knew all of this and still wasn’t winning comps😔
She won 4 vetos
She is the only female this season who won the Veto and she was close to winning both F5 and F4 HOH( F5 HOH she lost by 9 seconds and she overshot at the tiebreaker for the F4 HOH).
god i love jen johnson
wait.. otev is veto backwards?
might be small but in the second HOH of bb23, Kyland had a different approach to hitting the ball than everyone else. he pushed it forward instead of just hitting it with the stick
The card throwing one, didn’t Jared then just give the other guy 3 points though?
He chose the person in last to give 3 points which is better than giving 4 people 2 points
James is super short thats why he won lol
I never understood how any big brother players would come on and not know the game? Like why are you applying for a show for so much money and not taking the time to spend 1 day watching previous seasons? It’s like when people get on price is right and then don’t realize every prize is over $500 when bidding and $5000 once on stage abd $20,250 once in showcase!
3:22 I dont get that or maybe im just slow. Why would a blindfold help me in the dark? Wouldnt a flashlight be more helpful to grab lol
Haha it’s a reference to Chill Town
…How is the card-throwing bet thing a hack? If he wins it's Him - 3, Others - 2, Opponent - 1. If he loses it's Him - 1, Others - 0, Opponent - 3. He's gaining 1 point on the people betting no matter what, all that throwing the minigame does is give his opponent a big advantage for literally zero personal benefit.
If micheal is in here, say hi
✨✨✨✨
Wait, I’m confused why Jen’s was so good
Round Ends regardless of whether or not the first answer said is right or wrong. So by immediately buzzing while jamica was in the lead in the last round, she guarantees nobody else can tie or surpass jamica.
She was banking on coming off the block. She put herself in a situation where she could have either A) won it herself or B) her ally was near guaranteed to pull her off.
@@BoldAndBrash5683 what was the point in not trying to win and fully guaranteeing in then?
@@MrMoose_24 she didn’t know the answer. Probably didn’t have enough time to try to figure it out.
Thank you for proving that Big Brother is extremely stale and ran out of ideas.
:-)
Still waiting for Porsche at the final 4 Veto of BB13 to make an appearance.
U came up with the stock pile strategy? Lol ooooook 🤔
Hiding pieces in the water isn’t much of a strategy. It’s called common sense 😂 So were calling stating the obvious a strategy nowadays? LOL
if it's common sense why didn't it get done more often?
Still don't like Michael. He used Kyle making him look bad when in reality he is the racist!!! Hope he leaves in double eviction tonight. Not to mention he is just a sorry human!!!
i think what he did was def dirty gameplay, but Michael is not racist at all. nor is he a “sorry human” and Kyle def got what was coming to him by trying to start an all-white alliance to strike first against an imaginary POC alliance
@@averie3881 doesn't everyone on show think there are secret groups that aren't really there all the time??? But he brings up one that just happened the year before and he is wrong for it? Even if he is just planting seeds to get people on his side whats wrong with that??? I don't understand how it was ok even great that cookout did it but because any white person says it its wrong!!! Hell if a white player said what Taylor did last night they'd be racist...quote " I want to be first ( black) woman to win bb. " I believe that's racist! Anyway Michael got what was coming to him. Plus others like Joseph ask why Michael and Britney waited so long to say anything. Because he is a dirty human that used race in his favor. And a sore loser to boot.
@@fletcherspearman4243 he was not a sore loser. he actually did really well managing the emotions in such a short span of time and his exit was funny. and people speculate all the time, but not race-based with absolutely ZERO evidence. Joseph captured it perfectly by saying that the Arab kid was fighting for kyle’s life and Kyle was throwing him under the bus due to his race. and Taylor said she wants to be the first black woman winner… because… um?? Shocker?? There have been no black female winners because they’re all targeted and made out to be crazy by the rest of the cast. They waited long to say something because dyre fest happened and then they waited for Kyle to explode the alliance before deciding not to protect him anymore. if you hate Michael more than if not just as much as Kyle in this situation that’s alarming…
@@averie3881 excuses is all I see...and always one-sided!!! Guess if brittany said she wanted to be first over weight white woman to win would be ok...or no??? What Michael did is alot worse than what people THINK Kyle did. But in the end he was a big sore loser!!! You could tell the lawyer was pissed. He just knew he was gonna win. NOT!!!🤣🤣🤣 I do believe house believe Michael's action was for self fain not because he was doing right thing. It's obvious...he waited to use a lie to benefit his game. He got his reward last night!!!🤣🤣🤣
@@SchmergDergen that's how those people operate.
Cry about that
Do you think sometimes "hacking" goes too far?
Like take Michael out of this season and its tainted so much by comp beasting that it would be legit 400% different shows something is screwed up.
Nah that's dumb, every player has the same opportunity to prepare and think of clever strategies.
@@feasible EXACTLY! I appreciate Michael's prep for BB24 and absolutely believe he deserves to be complimented for his brilliant wins. Like Michael or not he is one of the best players to play BB ! Congrats to Michael!
That's a bad take, anyone has the opportunity to prepare since big brother barely ever invents new comps
Do you also think studying is cheating for a test?
