I do really love Michael, but for some reason I don't feel like his wins measure up to janelle's. Janelle usually had the entire house against her, and they were playing HARD. they all wanted to win SO bad, she had some serious competition. I don't know if the houseguests are getting weaker or just have less of a drive to win, but it just seems like what Michael was competing against is levels below what Janelle was. Also, BB reuses the same comps year after year, and I'm sure superfan Michael had them all practically memorized and engrained in his bones before playing, whereas Janelle was seeing these comps for the first time and immediately dominated.
Cant wait for Michael to get out and see this video. I remember watching him on Big Brother Secrets of Scholastica which was a youtube BB at his college and it was super cool seeing him get on and play actual BB and shatter a 16 year old record!
One of the all-time top players without a doubt...... That being said.. Michael targeting and evicting Terrance instead of Turner or Monte on his last HoH will probably go down as one of the biggest strategic mistakes a BB player has made..ever.
Michael is BB LEGEND. Period. Glad your channel popped on my feeds. Love the guy ❤. He made a Janelle (BB Queen) Bucket List and achieved + exceeded. Hope he's brought back 4 All Stars.
Michael is also close to Janelle's amount of days spent in the BB house as she was evicted on day 67 and Michael was evicted on day 65. Also, another similarity is that both Michael and Janelle got their 9th win on week 9 then got evicted the round directly afterwards.
Thank you for the amazing content. I have started binging this season because of this video and because of your channel. My first actual season to watch. And it is Awesome. Thanks for all your videos.
He got too confident in the end, he should have listened to Brittany, if he got turner out Brittany would have won HoH and he would still be in the game
I wish Michael never held onto the info about Kyle because aside from that and some microaggressions toward Taylor he was basically the perfect person to be on BB! I also loved his exit both for how iconic it was and for how emotional it made me watching the DE live. The thing is, many won’t admit it, but there is an argument to be made that Taylor and Alyssa made the wrong move voting Michael out. Michael made so many valid points in his speech, and he clearly would have taken Taylor to the end or at least the final 3, and Monte and Turner have both been guilty of treating her like crap recently. As for Alyssa, well she’s on the outs right now and is only a target because Michael is gone, she had a better chance of going farther if Michael stayed if you ask me! Right now, Taylor winning is the only way this season gets a satisfying ending because everyone else is insufferable for their own reasons. And while I get the hate for Brittany, I am more annoyed with Turner since 1. people are praising him for making moves that were not his, and 2. He made a promise to Michael that he swore on the LGBT+ community to keep, which was gross and unnecessary if he never planned to keep it! I didn’t like it when Vanessa did it in BB17 either!
Come on, Dan Gheesling swore on the Bible AND his wife and kids during BB14 that he wouldn't put Shane up, and he's considered one of the best players out there. Not saying what Turner did was right by any means, but honestly, everything's been sworn on. There's very few squeaky clean Big Brother players even in the Canadian seasons that haven't gone back on at least one "promise".
@@KlaviceGavin 1. Sure, promises are broken, but my point is you can lie without going to such lengths. Michael chose to have integrity and not put Turner up because of the agreements they discussed. Turner could at least have had the decency to not go there when lying to the man! 2. Dan Gheesling is one of the best BB players of all time, but that's mainly for his BB10 gameplay, not his gameplay from BB14. Dan's game from BB14 is rightfully criticized, and many who praise it would argue it still pales in comparison to how he played in BB10!
@@JRJuggernaut1 I agree his game tanked in BB14, but the point is, he's as of this comment the only player so far to win then get second place on their seasons whereas someone like Cody Calafiore lost the game before winning in 22. He has one of the highest placements in both his OG season and his returning season. But even in BB10 Dan was willing to swear on anything to get himself and Memphis farther.
@@KlaviceGavin Dan made some shady plays in BB10 but not to the point where it tainted the quality of his jury management. And Cody won BB22 because everyone loved him and in the final 3 he was guaranteed to be taken to final 2 despite what a threat he was! The only backstabbing he truly had to do was to Nicole and even then you could understand why he did that! And to be clear this isn’t just about lying. Turner has done awful thing after awful thing and has never held himself accountable for any of it. He knew somewhat about Kyle’s racist agenda, as did Alyssa, but they kept quiet to avoid having it come to bite them. Then Turner tried to rally to save Kyle over Taylor which was not shown at all in the edited episodes. Turner is basically doing what Paul did in BB19, be absolutely terrible and not once own up to what they are doing! Turner has zero integrity and whether he likes it or not, Michael was right to call out Turner’s lack of integrity and manipulative tactics!
I'm mad Michael was evicted, cause yeah I love Taylor but he was the best competitor hands down and the only one that really deserved it. Also love that he went out like the king that he is.
That was the saltiest exit of all time and you think he went out like a king? King Joffrey, maybe. Don't get me wrong, Michael felt so so close to being the first and only person to change people's votes based on a final speech. It was legendary and he played until the very end. A valient effort. But he didn't hug Britney, he didn't wish the houseguests luck, he left a sore loser.
I can't remember the last time I genuinely enjoyed watching someone in competitions.. the competitions are always fun ofc, but it was like actually super exciting when Michael was around.
Micheal dominated comps on a szn where there was Monty/Kyle/Joseph and even Turner who would’ve been “the comp beast” on any other szn. An athletic super fan is a cheat code 😅…. He was gonna be evicted first chance someone in final 4-6 got BUT his speech/efforts were crazy 😂😂😂😂 and if Monty/Turner win, those girls will regret it
Hey I kind of had an idea for a future video. Maybe you could do “The Bizzare History of Houseguests Lying About Their Jobs” cause just off the top of my head I can think of quite a few - Danielle bb14 - Vanessa bb17 - Xavier bb23 - Michael bb24 - Joseph bb24 - Britney bb24 And I think it would be interesting to review how successful they were at lying (for example Xavier won the game but everyone knew he was lying), how it affected their game, and if that’s a good strategy/which jobs SHOULD you lie about You obviously don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, but I love your content and I know I’d never make it myself
Woowww, I'm late to the party, but never noticed his rope fall off like that. I didn't watch this season live, either, but they better have given him a big ass cash prize for ruinin' his chances to win. That's blatantly just, on the ground. I'd be mortified if I'd been him in that moment.
Michael is an absolute icon. The fact that they had to get him out in such a weasel way shows how good he is. Really hope we don't end up with a Monte or Turner win this season, but whatever happens Michael is going to be who is remembered and talked about most when BB24 gets brought up.
How is backdooring him “weasel?” It was the logical thing to do. Just cause you personally didn’t like it doesn’t make it any less of a good game decision for basically everybody.
when Monte won that double eviction Veto I was cheering from my chair to backdoor Michael. But a part of me wishes he was still in the house just so we could see how far he could go
Micheal was amazing all season and made BB interesting again. Two biggest mistakes game wise (not counting holding onto the Kyle info) not taking out Monte and Turner during those 2 HoH reigns.
I gotta disagree with you on that one. Turner has played one hell of a game, somewhat similar to season 17 Steve. He's positioned himself in a lot of good positions, has strong connections with a lot of the jury, and has flown under the radar, despite being pretty good at comps. I honestly think that if he plays his cards right and manages to take Alyssa to finale night, he'll win.
@@stetson0075 I mean sure he’s flown under the radar, but that’s bc he hasn’t won many comps and has had his HOH weeks controlled by other people. What has he done outside of that aside from not making people actively dislike him (jasmine aside)? He hasn’t been some strategical mastermind, he hasn’t convinced people to go his way.. I’d best describe him as tofu. Bland and influenced by what’s happening around him
Alyssa also spoke about the same thing happening to her equipment. She said it could happen if you didn’t have enough give and pulled on your rope too hard and she had to go back and re-hook it up
I thought something weird happened during last veto. He’s too smart to have kept running for it while vastly underestimating how much rope he still needed. That’s not fair. Also think Turner probably is convinced to not nominate him if it’s a full week
Can you make a video comparing Janelle and Michael whether that be who is an overall bigger physical threat or overall a better player. Love the videos, especially the ones where you break down a player, duo or alliance! 🔑
When I was watching the double eviction veto I thought I noticed Michael's rope broke but I thought i was trippin. But knowing it did is kinda controversial and in my opinion the competition should've either restarted or we should've had a new competition. Either way that man was on god mode.
Hey man! Ever think about doing a “pre jury Villians” vid? Ex: Devin BB 16, Ronnie BB 11, Jeremy BB 15 this season with Daniel? Think it would be a great vid!
I am very curious as to what the theme of that Thursday episode will be, because right now, with Michael gone my interest in this season has tanked beyond wanting Taylor to win badly. Most of it has to do with Turner, I think he might actually be the worst cast member of the entire season. Every good thing he did does not look genuine in hindsight, he showed various microaggressions toward players like Taylor and Joseph, and he refuses to hold himself accountable for his shitty behaviors. For those that don't watch the feeds, here's a list of some of his shitty behaviors: 1. Actually knew somewhat about Kyle's plans but only turned on him to avoid it coming back to bite him 2, Campaigned to have Taylor evicted over Kyle after he was put on the block 3. Swore on the LGBT+ community that he would not put Michael up to guarantee safety 4. Told Michael he loved him and then said "fuck him" on the feeds and that he could judge him for "playing the victim" even though we all know Michael's callout of Turner was completely valid! 5. Has campaigned to try and get Taylor out this week even though she agreed to go on the block so that he could avoid having to do so..... Monte is a misogynist and he is not off the hook for that, but I am more disgusted by Turner since he has done a greater variety of shitty things and yet refuses to hold himself accountable for any of it!
Ethanimale great video you made. I like people like micheal they came to play the game and not just become and average player. When you look at micheal you would not think that he is a great competition player. He was brilliant.
every competition he was in he either lost veto and won hoh or won veto and lost hoh. the whole time he was there he was winning hoh and vetos left and right. he really gave everyone a run for their money. had monte not win that veto he very well could have won. unfortunately when you are that much of a beast you usually get knocked out the first chance they get. if he was on season 22 or 23 he would have won. those casts would have let him steam rolled him to the end. sadly for him the cast for once used their brains and made a big move
Question. Michael had advanced knowledge of most of the competitions he played in to break the record. Were the comps all known when Janelle did it? I can't remember.
He is so great. He is the best player of the season (although Taylor deserves that win after all she went through). Taylor is like the Top 3 but if it is about games, Michael is #1
He cared more about records than keeping his threat level in mind. There was some comps he could of afforded to throw which would of made the target on his back much smaller. Congrats on the record, but he came in 6th place for this reason.
Taylor’s rope broke as well and she continued on playing without stopping and holding the rope - and if it had been something really bad, he would’ve brought it up to production
the veto michael lost his rope broke, not only do i think that wasnt fair but it was a design flaw in productions comp design, they should have paused the comp and fixed his belt
15:50 that is bs.. Monte did *not* win fair and square. Not if Michael's station was broken. And I'm sorry but I feel like they've re-done comps for less. This makes me mad. Imagine how many wins he'd have if he lasted longer. I swear if Michael isn't back in that house within yhe next 3 summers I quit.
Yeah I can get why Michael was so upset during his eviction. Not even that he played bad or made some massive tactical mistake. He got hit with some really crappy luck of the draw at the end.
Definitely the best new player since Tyler Crispen. Obviously he was a comp freak but his reads were also fantastic on a consistent basis. Crossing my fingers he wins AFP, though I'm pretty sure that will go to Taylor.

Didn’t Michael also break the record for fastest time in BBComics? If so, that comp win broke two records and tied a third!
I think there’s an asterisk on that because there were only 15 comics instead of 16
@@evl952 true, but someone also calculated how long it took the fastest people to do each one on average and michael was still the best
Exactly thats why he isn't a top player of all time he's just too passive most of the time
I have mad respect for Michael, I wish he would've stayed longer. But this means he might actually come back in another season if he'd really want to
He does want to unless he changes his mind later. He said so
Michael is BB LEGEND. Period. Glad your channel popped on my feeds. Love the guy ❤. He made a Janelle (BB Queen) Bucket List and achieved + exceeded. Hope he's brought back 4 All Stars.
Jag watched this and took this personally
Michael is also close to Janelle's amount of days spent in the BB house as she was evicted on day 67 and Michael was evicted on day 65. Also, another similarity is that both Michael and Janelle got their 9th win on week 9 then got evicted the round directly afterwards.
We will be seeing him play this game again. I can’t wait.
I think he'll be targeting first, prefer him on the Amazing Race
He actually deserved the win.
Thank you for the amazing content. I have started binging this season because of this video and because of your channel. My first actual season to watch. And it is Awesome. Thanks for all your videos.
congrats on 20k ethan!!
Thanks!
I didn't see this but thank you so much!
Mike is the definition of Superfan it was fun watching him play
It's weird how the final 7 this season were either nominated for eviction, were backstage or in the finals for the first HOH during week 1.
Except Daniel... for the best though
@@AsraliaX2 I guess I should've said lost the final round but yeah
He got too confident in the end, he should have listened to Brittany, if he got turner out Brittany would have won HoH and he would still be in the game
Should’ve won this season. Super bummed he didn’t. He’s the only one who deserves it.
Bro what? He went out awful.
I can't remember the last time I genuinely enjoyed watching someone in competitions.. the competitions are always fun ofc, but it was like actually super exciting when Michael was around.
it seems like no one was trying as hard to play as michael, he needs to be back in a real season
He's one of the best players I've ever seen - & I've watched since the beginning!
He's definitely got my vote for the Big Brother Hall of fame. He beat the record of his favorite houseguest.
Micheal dominated comps on a szn where there was Monty/Kyle/Joseph and even Turner who would’ve been “the comp beast” on any other szn. An athletic super fan is a cheat code 😅…. He was gonna be evicted first chance someone in final 4-6 got BUT his speech/efforts were crazy 😂😂😂😂 and if Monty/Turner win, those girls will regret it
Joseph sucked at comps. He was worse than Jasmine and Terrance
It’s funny if you think about it, cats have 9 lives and Michael won 9 competitions.
I can’t wait to show Michael all the love after this season I hope he notices 🙏🏼💯🖤And shows all the fans some love
Yes!!!
Ohhhhhh my gosh. I love Michael.
12:40 it didn't even occur to me that he dove for the button lmao I fcking love him
Hey I kind of had an idea for a future video. Maybe you could do “The Bizzare History of Houseguests Lying About Their Jobs” cause just off the top of my head I can think of quite a few
- Danielle bb14
- Vanessa bb17
- Xavier bb23
- Michael bb24
- Joseph bb24
- Britney bb24
And I think it would be interesting to review how successful they were at lying (for example Xavier won the game but everyone knew he was lying), how it affected their game, and if that’s a good strategy/which jobs SHOULD you lie about
You obviously don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, but I love your content and I know I’d never make it myself
That’s a fun idea! Not sure if I would make a video on it but it’s a really fun thing to think about!
I'm gonna give y'all a tip to win this game: DON'T win 6 Power of Veto's if you don't absolutely have to.
Sad but true
Woowww, I'm late to the party, but never noticed his rope fall off like that. I didn't watch this season live, either, but they better have given him a big ass cash prize for ruinin' his chances to win. That's blatantly just, on the ground. I'd be mortified if I'd been him in that moment.
Michael was definitely one of my favorite bb players ever. Him an Ian.
Man... His idiot sandwich comment to Daniel is just hilarious 😂
Definitely worthy of All Stars.
I loved the festie bestie twist … that house split twist was cans though🍅🍅🍅.
when Monte won that double eviction Veto I was cheering from my chair to backdoor Michael. But a part of me wishes he was still in the house just so we could see how far he could go
He took the "WWJD" too seriously..
Micheal was amazing all season and made BB interesting again. Two biggest mistakes game wise (not counting holding onto the Kyle info) not taking out Monte and Turner during those 2 HoH reigns.
Another good video! Keep it up :)
I’ll never not be salty about Michael being evicted. He’s the only person who deserved to win season 24.
Agreed.. I’m kinda done with this season and only keep up via madrosed
Monte is deserving turner is deserving taylor is deserving like they would be better winners that like dick and Jordan and rachel
@@stetson0075 yep, Michael has zero social skills, he was just really good at comps. Go Turner!
She said it could happen if you didn’t have enough give and pulled on your rope too hard and she had to go back and re-hook it up
Glad Michael got evicted. He shoulda took Brittany's advice and go after Turner. He lost $750k 🤷🏾♂️
"We will never see anything like this again"
This aged quite badly
I thought something weird happened during last veto. He’s too smart to have kept running for it while vastly underestimating how much rope he still needed. That’s not fair. Also think Turner probably is convinced to not nominate him if it’s a full week
You need to go on BB! Fav player right there
Can you make a video comparing Janelle and Michael whether that be who is an overall bigger physical threat or overall a better player.
13:01 I LOVE HIM SM STOP
Michael is the best competition player in big brother history
Hey man! Ever think about doing a “pre jury Villians” vid? Ex: Devin BB 16, Ronnie BB 11,
Jeremy BB 15 this season with Daniel? Think it would be a great vid!
I am very curious as to what the theme of that Thursday episode will be, because right now, with Michael gone my interest in this season has tanked beyond wanting Taylor to win badly. Most of it has to do with Turner, I think he might actually be the worst cast member of the entire season. Every good thing he did does not look genuine in hindsight, he showed various microaggressions toward players like Taylor and Joseph, and he refuses to hold himself accountable for his shitty behaviors. For those that don't watch the feeds, here's a list of some of his shitty behaviors:
1. Actually knew somewhat about Kyle's plans but only turned on him to avoid it coming back to bite him
2, Campaigned to have Taylor evicted over Kyle after he was put on the block
3. Swore on the LGBT+ community that he would not put Michael up to guarantee safety
Tucker took this video personally
Since he's been gone... I could careless who wins because no one who is left even did anything good. They all floated
Ethanimale great video you made. I like people like micheal they came to play the game and not just become and average player. When you look at micheal you would not think that he is a great competition player. He was brilliant.
Monte was scared little man!
every competition he was in he either lost veto and won hoh or won veto and lost hoh. the whole time he was there he was winning hoh and vetos left and right. he really gave everyone a run for their money. had monte not win that veto he very well could have won. unfortunately when you are that much of a beast you usually get knocked out the first chance they get. if he was on season 22 or 23 he would have won. those casts would have let him steam rolled him to the end. sadly for him the cast for once used their brains and made a big move
Question. Michael had advanced knowledge of most of the competitions he played in to break the record. Were the comps all known when Janelle did it? I can't remember.
That’s a good point
I think a lot of the All-Star comps were Trivia-based, so no?
I was so devastated when he was evicted but at least he went out with a bang
He is so great. He is the best player of the season (although Taylor deserves that win after all she went through). Taylor is like the Top 3 but if it is about games, Michael is #1
the d riding is insane
He cared more about records than keeping his threat level in mind. There was some comps he could of afforded to throw which would of made the target on his back much smaller. Congrats on the record, but he came in 6th place for this reason.
Taylor’s rope broke as well and she continued on playing without stopping and holding the rope - and if it had been something really bad, he would’ve brought it up to production
Wow so Jag could have matched him with 7 had he not folded.
Michael the veto king, gible the discord king
Congrats on 20k
Video idea: ranking the houses in big brother
Watching this video when Tucker is a houseguest xD
Michael was the king sucks so bad he got snipped. He is a legend
the veto michael lost his rope broke, not only do i think that wasnt fair but it was a design flaw in productions comp design, they should have paused the comp and fixed his belt
exactly cause had that not happened he would have won that comp and made final 5
The fact that Janelle & Michael are both from Minnesota 🔥
Seeing all these similarities with michael and janelle is crazy i couldnt imagine being him lol
woah, maybe i should watch this season- this guy is insanee
nevermind 💀
No watch the season its grear
This season is really good please watch
it’s a rlly good season
Love this!
I just realized he referenced the Gordon Ramsey/Julie Chen Idiot Sandwich Meme!
He would’ve definitely blew the record out the water if he got to go to 3rd place like Janel
minnesotans really represent on big brother. i’m proud.
Initially thought his Janelle speech was so cringe like Daniel talking about making moves like Dan Gheesling….. but damn Michael is a beast
I doubt michael would have won he was too aggressive in his dashes and he didn't complain
michael was like a big brother brantsteele. Except you put Michael at Comp beast for every comp, and put everyone else to terrible
Hahahahhah true, I tried that before to see how it would work
No cause Michael brought out them lawyer skills when he was on the block
Yeah I can get why Michael was so upset during his eviction. Not even that he played bad or made some massive tactical mistake. He got hit with some really crappy luck of the draw at the end.
week 8 veto was like
*micheal gets picked*
everyone else: why do i hear boss music?
My favourite player in years!
I need to see Michael on TAR
Definitely the best new player since Tyler Crispen. Obviously he was a comp freak but his reads were also fantastic on a consistent basis. Crossing my fingers he wins AFP, though I'm pretty sure that will go to Taylor.
He's nowhere near tyler he wasted his hoh that sent him home he had a bad read on monte and turner willing to take the shot at him. He also was not the best socially where people were again willing to target him and his threat level was soo high and he never even bothered to lower it
@@TripleBBBBB I said he’s the best *since* Tyler.
Damn Now nobody's left that I was rooting for
