I am back playing Classic Era and started making youtube videos again after a little break. Let me hear your thoughts about WoW currently and what you are enjoying playing the most!
Very good video, I was amazed how quickly era became fun. Even just leveling up it feels like a community, and you are rewarded for being a nice person. I saved a warrior from death on my pally, and he attached mithril spurs for me. Those little interactions are lost in Wrath.
I went back to retail and within the hour it was uninstalled, I decided instead of wasting a sub ill give classic era a try. Jumped in on a human warrior and ive never enjoyed the game so much before. Questing on classic is just so much more fun compared to retail, if your a returning player or trying to ignite the wow spark again take my word and play classic era!!!! Have a nice day

I feel you man it took me over a year to get my thunderfury was so happy when i got it. Then month later it dropped on my main. In era we have now seen 2x garr and 1 baron since back in 3 weeks.
I lvled up A fresh UD Rogue on Firemaw, cuz all my 2019-2021 60s is in Wrath Era. Classic Era 2023 is so Awesome just one thing is so sad tho, if you can't find a nor wanna be in a Raiding Guild that wanna gear you up. it's impossible to gear up cuz so many people want the same gear and i'm cursed with loots, or you need to have like 100k gold so you can bid win items in GDKP. I have played for 2+ month on my fresh UD Rogue in 60 and has barely gotten any items for real now. either lost every roll or haven't had enough gold for GDKPs so in that aspect Classic 60 era can be very hard for you, but otherwise it's Awesome :)
@@Johannesdog hm so far I am just getting through the leveling. It is kind of nice knowing I can take as long as I want. Hoping to try to get the old Corrupted Ashbringer. Going to be a long road but want to atleast try to get it. Hoping to start a guild with a few friends soon. The only thing is I am thinking getting 39 people will be tough. Especially since I am not a pro player by any means lol.
@@revan8795 It is tough getting 39 players together, ashbringer is naxx that is the hardest content, we recently had one drop think it went for 4-5k gold. Enjoying the leveling?
@@Johannesdog yeah still a little slow for my liking but I do see the appeal. Especially since we have all the time in the world to get to max level stuff. I do wish they bump the 40 stuff to 25 after a bit. Maybe have a toggable option for those that love the 40 man stuff. I might try to find a guild to group up with mine after I make it. Though that is a future problem lol.
Its on the Firemaw PVP cluster with many connected servers, hardcore players are on another PVE server to not get ganked. This is like normal classic how it was back in the day of the first relaunch with worldbuffs! :) It is a ton of fun hope that answers your question.
@@Johannesdog I play some classic era here and then, but I mainly play WOTLK on private servers such as warmane. I don’t really play WOTLK on blizzard servers, but I do play classic era on blizzard servers. Fijne nacht trouwens ☺️
@@Johannesdog Cause they feel more populated, they also got a whole website where you can purchase gear for alts. The gear is gear you can get in the game by playing, so I honestly see it as “pay to catch up”. Not really “pay to win” tbh. And they have polished everything super well. + I played such a long time on it I can’t just leave my friends behind.

If they had explained that tbc would just turn into wrath i think i would have kept my 60s on classic. Wanna sell me a service 30 dollars transfer/copy a 60-65 back to clasic.
I think that was what the most likely outcome releasing wrath after TBC. You could have made a copy just before but most did not as it was dead and players were excited about TBC coming out. Will you start releveling.
@@Johannesdog Era man!! me, and my friends started from lvl 1 again, a couple of months ago, and started our own raiding guild. It’s been an absolute blast.
@@Johannesdog all i can say is warmane is up for a very very long time so i dont think that it will get shutdown soon, and turtle is a blast around peak 7-8k players online and very chill community
@@AzureTHC Turtle wow is doing good, there is always that fear of blizzard trying to get it down are my thoughts. I think they will when they announce a fresh classic as it is still there product. You mainly playing on Warmane then?

I think Ulduar is one of the most exciting parts of Wrath and to me it's the raid I enjoy most. Ulduar is boring as shit already people are quitting left and right. There's like 2 bosses that are a challenge anyway...? Rest is you barely need to pay attention. If you don't do hm you can literally be asleep

Nothing wrong with that, but skilled players really want to finish woltk. Specially ICC. I guarantee you when p2 ends, you will see a lot people coming back again. After wotlk ends for good, yes lets all move to era again because cataclysm sucks.
Mate I'm not trying to be mean, don't get me wrong. When I say "you" I'm generalizing, "you players". Well, nax was easy as shit and people got bored, then ulduar is massive compared to nax and then they can't handle it. There's a reason Ulduar is known as the "guild breaker"
@@Johannesdog Ssc and Tk are not hard raids in my opinion, Sunwell yes it's a big step up from those last 2. They are different raids, but I would say ulduar as it's best with no nerfs it's still a bit harder than sunwell, just because you need to do all hardmodes to unlock Algalon, and then you only have 1 hour timer to kill him every week. Just that scales up the difficulty. Altho Kiljaeden is also no joke and it requires everyone to be performing very good. Ulduar has already been nerfed in wotlk classic, also Algalon, and yet the majority of guilds haven't killed him yet or even see him. Sunwell was the same back in BC, only in prewotlk with the major nerf most casual raiding guilds were capable of killing KJ. TOCG, the next tier raid we gona have it's a complete joke compared to Ulduar. Back in the day Ulduar had a short period of time cause blizzard messed up and most players did nothing with that raid, they went from nax to TOCG basically. Hence why blizzard boosted gear in ulduar so that it becames relevant and worth working on.

My guild cleared mc every week for the entirety of classic, we never saw a single right binding. Everyone had a left binding tho.
