Hi just wiring up my onefinity journeyman with a spindle love the idea of the dust collector turning on automatically with the spindle .You don't mention whether this is a 110 or 220 vfd .I have a 220v vfd are the connection terminals the same ?Thank you in advance
Reason I didn't provide links is because this stuff is all over Google, but can sometimes be hard to find exactly what you want or need and it depends on what voltage you have and plan to use. 110v, 220v, 380v, etc.
If it were me I'd honestly probably just use this method. I mean there are other methods, but the IOT relay has 2 120v outputs so one could go to dust collection and the other to the recirculation pump.
I have been setting up my vfd and I would like to just turn spindle on and off from my X-controller that is all I want it to do. I would adjust single speed if needed at the vfd. Do you offer your services? Thanks for your consideration!
Yes x controller. I am needing to just turn spindle on and off the speed I can simply adjust at the vfd because I typically run at 10,000 for what I carve. Thanks
It's 120v and the video was for demonstration purposes on how easy it is to setup a VFD and spindle to the Onefinity cnc controller. You can see by the video this is a test setup on a wood table just to make the video.

The power of the VFD has to be greater than the spindle power?
Could I use this connection for the water pump instead the dust collector?

So you are wanting to just use the VFD to manually adjust speeds and that's it?

are you willing to share the directions on how you wired up the IOT relay?
Do you also have a HY VFD and spindle as well as a breakout board?

Okay. I'll try and do a wiring diagram and what to program on the VFD so that you can do this as well.
