It was a VERY HOT one, but still enjoyable running around a hot and hilly Worcestershire countryside!

Great job thought it was all on grass based on the start and finish!
Did Crowle last year ,pretty tough course and it was hot that day too. Support from people in Crowle was fantastic.
Indeed Claire, a tough course… I think the serious runners would say “not a PB course”. But as we know there is more to running than getting PBs and as you say the support there is great 🏆

Oh yes, we were running along together for a short while, but he is much younger and faster than me!

I did Leeds Marathon on this day so can vouch how hot it was.
41 minutes is a cracking time and the super strong finish was very impressive.
Amazing to think 41 minutes was only good enough for 3rd in V60 category - quite incredible in all honesty.
Thank you Colin and oh boy what a hot day! As you say amazing how being 19th overall with 350 finishers only gets 3rd in over 60's....clearly my videos are working to inspire others! How did you get on at Leeds?
@@PoetWithPace Mixed day at Leeds but an absolutely fantastic event.
Passed half marathon in 1:26 but faded and run/walked final 5 miles on what should’ve been the easier downhill section. Official time 3:03:14.

60+ the baby boomers. Very competitive age group👍
I think when i was born, 1961, the baby boomer period was over....
@@PoetWithPace I was born in 1960 and count as a boomer, and I think you do too, as the cut-off is usually considered to be about 1964. Definitely agree with Gary, the 60+ age group is very competitive at the moment.
@@derekrunsagainindeed a lot of 60+ have come out in past 2 years…. Wonder why?
Presumably they gave Mark (the VM60 winner) that VM45 trophy by mistake?
Indeed it was a mistake, but they couldn't find the right one....as that may of gone already to another athlete....

I'm sorry to see that we made a mistake with the V60/V45 trophies - must have been all that heat and excitement. I'll contact both prize winners and get a swap organised if still needed.
