Pro tip: instead of spending time to mask out top part in Zbrush, you could just poligroup and mask the group in 2 seconds.
    Thanks for the video.

Hi, I model something in zbrush and I need to clean the model and divide it in pieces in solidworks and keep modelling there.. what do you recommend me to do? Thanks

is this method useful for production? and creating a production mold? im not that familiar with the CAD side of things, but i want to be able to send it to a manufacturer but they tell me basically that they cant work with something that looks like its scanned.

Thank you for the great video. I tried couple files from rhino to zbrush, but when i import it back to rhino is not closed solid mesh, too many naked edges, therefore can't be printed. Please let me know how to fix this if you don't mind. Thanks again.

Glad you liked the video! Here's what Scott had to say about the transfer issues you are experiencing, "This can sometimes be caused by overlapping geometry or open surfaces in the Zbrush model. Navigate to the Geometry tab, and open the MeshIntegrity submenu. Click Check Mesh Integrity to check, then click Fix Mesh. Export again and see if that fixed it. Naked edges in Rhino are usually caused by open surfaces. Rhino does not see these as a solid so they cannot be 3D printed. You may need to eliminate any open surfaces in the Zbrush model before bringing into Rhino. Also, a quick Dynamesh at high resolution before exporting can take care of that and make it more palatable for Rhino."
