I know its not that easy but I wish you make more videos. Ive been playing pokemon and competitive for a while but just never felt like i understood what pros do and what plays they make. I’d very much like more analysis videos like this one!
I think its way easier for shillian to calculate that from his side than his opponent's side. Cause its pretty clear tha5 he can win with follw me ajd if you have follw me on one of your mon its usually the first thing you think about. Still,an epic play
I really love the explanations and I think it all makes sense. I would also like to see more analyses like this. But it seems to me that the discussed turn was not "extremely smart" but more like 50:50 mind game.

Yes there was a 50/50 at play, but given the complexity of the turn and the full understanding of the board state required to make the play I still consider it a phenomenal play. I think of it as a very weighted coin flip where both players are incentivized to go for the lines they did because of how obscure the follow me response is.
