- THERINE IS LEAVING BACK TO LUZON, AND IT WAS TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO THE BEACH HOME HERE IN DAVAO ORIENTAL.
After saying goodbye to Mama Rose, we headed off over the mountain road to Davao de Oro. Starting in Maragusan, we drive to Lake Leonard. This volcanic mountain lake has a beautiful viewdeck snack cafe... you have to try to the kamote bar! From there, we head to the famous HOT SPRING WATERFALLS! Yes, there is a hot waterfall here in Davao De Oro. Therine loved it!
It was a great time having Therine here in Davao.

Therine is so special, and she appreciates even the very small things in life. Kyle is very lucky to have her.
It's hard when you have to be apart from Therine, Kulas! My wife Ling Ling works very hard and only comes home once a week usually but it's easier than your situation. Thank you very much for showing the Philippine mahogany trees! I never knew that their leaves changed color here! My Ling Ling is a Kagayanon Higaonon Bae. Her tribal name is Bae Lawaan Sophia. "Lawaan" is the Philippine mahogany tree!
A very simple beauty she possesses and borderline shyness. Therine you are a blessing to be in Kulas life.

Some really nice scenery. The view of the lake is amazing. Once again the waterfall is the star of the video. What an awesome waterfall. I think Therine enjoyed her time there as well. I am thinking Mindanao just might be the place for me to live. Definitely will checking out a lot of places.

Hello, Kyle and Therine. I see in your faces the enjoyment nyou experienced on your tour. I remember the place Lake Leonard, Barangay New Leyte, Maco, Davao de Oro. If you know that there is a copper mine and plant, the North Davao Mining Corp. that operate there in the 1980's. That Lake Leonard was utilized as the tailings pond of the said plant, and I am one of the employees of the contractor, the Capitol Indl. Const. Groups, Inc. who work there to construct the dam for its purpose and also the finishing of the whole plant in early 80's.The Mainit Hot Spring where Therine enjoy so much her bathing in the warm waterfalls is the way going out to Mawab municipality then to Tagum City. I reminisced those days when I'm still 25 and now retired. Keep safe and healthy. Power on 💪

Tambo is the material used in making a broom (walis Tambo), the ribs of coconut leaves when binded together is called stick broom (walis ting-ting)

Watching from Vancouver Island.I went there in January 2020,unfortunately it was closed,had to sneak in to get some pictures.There was a small version just below the road that was open.Incredible beautiful area, swam in some cold springs nearby and passed by a high security gold mine.Big adventure day for me on my Honda TMX.

Tambo in Hiligaynon is bamboo shoot.
Kulas , i think the place is called Tambo because the area is abundant of grass called Tambo which is usually used for making the "walis tambo"
Just like Manila was named after the plant called Nilad which was abundant in the area way back.
