This proves the bias that the NFL has against Dorsett because they still refuse to make an episode of A Football Life about him. His story deserves it

They still may one day as he is still one of the top runners the league has seen.

@@rog9601 I think the fact that he was one of the bigger names who wanted to organize a lawsuit against the NFL over injuries of retired players has made them snub him all these years

I’m 51 yrs old and T . Dorsett is still my favorite player of all times.
The speed, vision, cutbacks and bursting through line like a missile was a sight to see.

Pittsburgh Panthers Legend and Bigger Legend With The Dallas Cowboys Man I Loved watching my favorite football player then and even Now more than ever TD was the most incredible player ever Don’t just talk about his size because nobody cares about Walter Payton size Tony Dorsett was and is the most misunderstood player and disrespected player in NFL History

Tony has always been my favorite player. He's two years older than me, so I've watch him since college and all through his pro career. I have never in my life seen a player that could go the distance on every touch of the ball like Tony. He's one of a kind. Before I start hearing crap from others about their opinion. This is mine so don't even start.

I loved Dorsett but hated the Cowboys, so of course, I was extremely upset when he became one.
There's one thing that makes him better than a lot of the big name RBs of his era, Dorsett won a Heisman AND won a National Championship and did those things in a program that wasn't very good.
When you look at Charles White and Billy Sims and Earl... those are BIG time schools, perennial champions, and contenders for the NCAA title each and every year.
Dorsett stayed close by his mother and look at what he did!
    Pretty Fantastic

I’ve gotta agree with TD; why in the world would they go away from a running Offense that was dominating? He was a great Back and whenever I saw him run, I thought, “He’s gliding through the Lines and down the field.” Thanks, TD. I was 19 when you won that Super Bowl. #DC4L

W/O KNOWING THIS (but paying attn over the yrs to various conversations): COACH LANDRY 'seems like' THE TYPE THAT WAS TOO SMART FOR HIS OWN GOOD. He didn't 'play' Tony Hill or Dorsett as much as rookies because it wasn't 'his way'. He didn't go w/'the hot hand' as well, BUT was a slave to his "system". U ARE NOT ALWAYS 'right', JUST BECAUSE U THINK U ARE!! I BET his stubbornness hurt THE COWBOYS in instances(regardless of how acclaimed his career may have been).
