Mars MEI 2400 Series Bill Acceptor Repair. 2451.

The MEI 2400 bill acceptor/validator was rejecting bills.
It did not appear to be the belts, cleaning, etc. Based on it's symptoms, it had to be something in the logic. It would accept the bill, pause, then return the bill to you. It would not not forward it to the stacker.
Found the 470/35 electrolytic to be the culprit It was leaky, & vented. Problem solved.
Will keep the belt kit aside.

I Change the cap now its but no lights front and have two blinks on the back red led light.

Good Job. I bought a ESR meter kit and yet have had it help me find a bad cap to fix a problem. Alot of people swear by them but in your case you could see that the cap was bad.

+RanHam335 Yes, I'm not really "moved" by these ESR meters. It hasn't found one bad cap yet.

Robert, your sound went very muffled at the end, you may have a microphone problem on your camera.

+old64goat Works great now. Yes, the last clip was final put back test in a live environment. Cramped with no room. Hand over mic. again while trying to hold the camera. Had to work fast. Wish that did not happen. Goal was to have folks hear the 2nd. motor engage, & the bills being moved into the stacker. Which does happen now, but you can't hear it. It used to reject them all. Could have told you it is the capacitor immediately. Good luck.. change that cap every 3 years.

I'm not very familiar with that level once the bill is accepted. I do know it's output is based on nickles, & pulses the machine accordingly. 20 pulses per dollar or something like that. If the bill acceptor is green flashing, it's not the issue. It gives error codes via. blinks if defective. The path needs regular cleaning for the electric eyes.
