Hi. What exactlly is the 300 in front of SERIAL_8N2 ? I've replicated your code entirely and i cannot make it work for the life of me. The acceptor does not come "online" so obviously i cannot enter any bill. Is the exact same acceptor as yours and it works perfectly, ive tested it on ITL software as well as any other modes i've tried. Cannot make it work on MEGA altho ONCE when i manualy connected the wire to pin 15 (rx3) the serial port displayed **IN_0*. What i am doing wrong?

You need to download the manual from the manufacturer. This will explain all you need to know about changing the currency type. You will also need extra hardware though.

what's the voltage out of the TX and RX lines? Would it be safe to connect directly to a Raspberry Pi?
