i've gotten so much mileage out of this compilation. perfect thematics, exactly what the beautiful art promises. Cryo Chamber is by far my favorite production house.
He had always been patient, the Druid King, patient as nature itself. When humans became too proud, thinking themselves above everything else on the planet, building gleaming metal cities and cutting down so many trees... The king just waited. His body dried up, his eyes turned into empty eye sockets, he no longer resembled that wise old man full of life, more like a corpse, but he still waited. And his waiting had paid off a hundredfold when humanity's arrogance had led to the Last War, which had devastated the greatest cities and turned them into deserts. Now it was up to him to rebuild from scratch, to cover the lands with forests anew and prevent the same mistake from happening again. Humankind was no longer welcome in his lands.
With the patience of trees, he watched. He had left humanity behind when he chose- no, when he was chosen. The trees had chosen him. Not the other way around. They had watched him for his sixty and six years. And now, he had to be like them. To watch, to witness. Though his skin drew taut, and his eyes dried out, he watched. His crown, given by the trees, sustained him. And it drank that pollution in. It turned his skin ghostly white. His eyes the darkest black. And he watched. His children, the seeds of his power, were growing, gestating. The rain ran through his ragged, moss covered clothes, and took the seeds that grew in his skin. This was not the power he had wanted. It was the power he had bargained for. Life, eternal. Knowledge beyond time. And patience like a tree. He watched. And waited.
Alone and childless he sat on his throne. He poured another shot into his skull goblet and gazed into his crystal ball. A sleeping dragon atop a heap of prismatic gems. The colors changed and the days came and went...
Oh boy do I have a good use for this. My druid's arc in D&D will love this for the last encounter the party faces before an ultimate sacrifice must be made.
Having a channel like yours is truly a blessing for those seeking to escape the stresses of daily life and find inner calmness. Listening to this kind of music provides significant benefits for both mental and physical well-being. It aids those with sleep troubles by promoting deep sleep, boosts concentration and motivation for those facing demanding workloads, and grants a sense of inner serenity to anyone seeking relief from the weariness of the day.
That thing, the 'Druid King." Its eyes appear haunted as well as potentially menacing. Like he might be pleading for your sympathy, or entreating you to come hear his story, only to wait until you're close enough for him to bare his fangs, breathe fire or devour you.
The imagery is so well conceptualised, its gorgeous in that it illustrates such a wide spectrum of emotion. The subtle swaying of the head, albeit seemingly mechanical in nature, is a nice touch as well. Thank you for your remarkable work, its truly gorgeous.
We've been using this as a background track while we're in the Death Dells. The big narrative beats have had matching music, as somehow the track swaps to match the narrative. The track hits just right every damn time. Amazing work!
I want to make this into a costume, imagine with black contact lenses, 3d print the mask or sculpt foam with a layer of mask clay, and a maybe mix in a deer antler into the bone crown.
Very creepy how you can see the faintest little reflection dots in the hollow eye sockets...as if to suggest an innocent soul once embodied these bones. Well done

Listen to me, if track 2, Megalosthronos, was in Assassin's Creed Valhalla the atmosphere would be on a whole new level. God damn, what an insane song. I have chills. Hearing that song while in AC V exploring some abandoned place or stealthily trying to take down an enemy in a heavily guarded area would make my heart go crazy lol. And Atrium's song afterwards makes it even spookier. 10 outta 10 playlist as always!!!
