  • Are you a fantasy writer? If so, today's immersive writing session is for you! This distraction-free, 2-hour writing session is designed to inspire creativity and deep focus - featuring fantasy adventure music and ambience that gradually gets darker (and spookier) the longer your write. Travel through mountains, mystical swamps, a dragon's cave, and finally arrive at a cozy medieval village by nightfall. We'll use the pomodoro method and do 4 writing sprints (25 minutes + 5 minute break in between.) A lot of you guys requested this one, so I'm very excited to share it with you! Ready to write? Grab your WIP and let's get started!
Comment below and tell me about your writing project!

Story isn’t about “what happens” - it’s about how what happens affects and transforms the characters. I believe that there is an exact science (a recipe, if you will) behind a perfect story. And if you know what ingredients you need, you can create your own perfect story with ease and confidence. I'm a personal fan of the 12:00-13:30 marker on Sprint 1: Mountain Pass. Apart from sounding great on its own, the music which follows the previously mentioned portion shifts towards an up beat feel good wagon riding, country siding, peaceful adventure. Makes me imagine that the adventurers accomplished some great feat & hopes are high. I live for these playlists.

As you venture deeper into the remote small, poor kingdom on the edge of the world, the once lush green forests and peaceful meadows start to give way to twisted, gnarled trees and barren wastelands. The sky darkens, and the air grows heavy with an eerie silence that chills you to the bone.
As you journey on, you begin to hear strange whispers and whispers that seem to come from the shadows themselves. You can't shake the feeling that you're being watched, and every creak and rustle sends a shiver down your spine.
Soon, you encounter a village, its buildings dilapidated and abandoned. The air is thick with the stench of decay, and the streets are littered with debris and fallen leaves. As you move deeper into the village, you realize that something terrible has happened here.
You hear the sound of footsteps, but when you turn to look, there's nobody there. The hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, and you can feel a cold sweat breaking out across your body. You're not alone in this place, and whatever is here with you isn't friendly.
As you push forward, the darkness only grows more oppressive. You see twisted, demonic creatures lurking in the shadows, their eyes gleaming with malevolent intent. You try to run, but you realize that you're hopelessly lost in this haunted world.
The sounds of screaming and moaning fill the air, and you can feel the evil presence closing in on you. The world around you seems to be unraveling, and you can't tell what's real and what's not. You're trapped in a nightmare, and you don't know how to escape.
You desperately search for a way out, but the world only grows darker and more twisted as you go. You start to fear that you'll never make it out of this place alive, and that you'll be trapped in this nightmare forever.

Somehow I had a feeling that flutes would help to soothe me, but this video was even better than I expected. The music and reason are perfectly gentle and balanced so there's no startling dynamic changes, and the background scenery is beautiful and relaxing as well, so soft and still and comforting. This is what I needed today! (Also, longtime various watcher, new subscriber as of today.) I am writing a fantasy story where the events do become "darker (and spookier)" the longer I write. 🙂 Unfortunately, I have to go to work soon, but I shall listen to this in full when I return. 👍

Hi! I literally just found your channel and I love all the content! This playlist in particular has been amazing as well as the writing tips! I did have a recommendation for a writing immersion, perhaps a vigilante/dark hero during the night? I'm working on a story that has that vibe and honestly I can't find just the *right* stuff to listen to on TH-cam. I love your stuff, your tips and videos have been so helpful, thanks again! ❤

Secondly, I wish the best of luck to any and all writers who are trying to just do the dang thing, keep going. You got this!
