As any musician would know, having the ability to act as a medium for music to talk through to the souls that are listening, is like a game of volleyball. The energy is thrown out to the people and is bounced back at you and then back out again back and forth. Its a strange, and very intense sensation that almost seems like magic.

To the people that listen to dark ambient, your my kind of people. You don’t find it disturbing and your not weirded out by it. You enjoy the emotion it gives you like as if it was from a film that is dramatic in a way of sorrows or just comfort. It doesn’t always have to be related to horror, it can just be the soft ambient it gives out that is called dark for a reason. Yet we all are here and each one of us are mysterious that listens to this including myself, I always loved dark ambient. Even just use it to either sleep or play open world games being by myself. (Edit) it’s like the dark ambient speaks in hieroglyphic words that we cannot understand only our mind and soul knows, the only thing we understand is the emotions it gives us that makes us think on a spontaneously deeper level, and that is what I call.....Meditation. Putting the reality to the side of what’s really going on and focusing on your thoughts of what comes into mind, and letting it run and make you think outside the box. It truly is mysterious how powerful our minds can be just by letting our brain focus on music on a deeper level.
Not sure it works that way. All the vivid images of everything that's gone wrong and is going wrong pop up. That the only hope is that all of it might come to a close as the world dies is a calming thought but not a good one so not exactly meditation.

This is so immersive. Landscapes are literally filling my head right now, and it makes me, someone who has never wanted to write or been compelled to write, sit down and begin to do so.
There were less stars in the sky today. Even the moon looked dim despite it being full. I watched the news and the last polar bear has gone extinct. I went to sleep and had no dreams. The water has rust in it today. The plants I look after have begun to wilt for no reason. Whats going on? Why is everything dying around me?

@@danielsmithiv1279 I have found a Facebook post of an article that mentions the sudden death of most of the visible stars, and the sudden extinction of polar bears, and that the 2 might be related. There must be some greater forces we don't understand yet behind all this. There is another article about the Sun suddenly dimming, making the Moon dimmer. The rusty water George mentioned is probably just something in his pipes, since I am not experiencing it (I drink well water though, that might be the difference). His plants probably died because of the bad water. I've read that your dreams are just the souls of your relatives and friends from your past life showing you guidance. If you stopped having dreams, their souls are probably already gone. Which would mean that Heaven got it's apocalypse before us...
@@starchild2299 Actually, the polar bear population is at around a comfortable 30k mark, has been for several years now, they're not going extinct with all the regulations and bans on their hunting. The most likely reason for not seeing stars would be light pollution, as I'm sure you can agree that astronomers would be concerned if what that article you read was true, not to mention multiple papers and publications would be writing about it. The Sun dimming is because we are approaching a grand solar minimum, and that one is a concern, yes, but even then not an extinction level concern, only a major worldwide famine concern due to the volatile weather it will bring, or rather is already starting to bring. And for the dream part I disagree with what the article you've read about them says, my own beliefs on dreams are too much in my head to be put into cohesive words at the moment so I'll leave that at this. Lastly, you shouldn't worry about the heavens, if we are to believe the as above so below rule/statement (or however it should be designated) the heaven is just fin.... Okay maybe a bit less than fine, but it's still pre-apocalypse in there.

Thursday June 2, 2022 Heavy rain falling and the chronic pain has got me in a dark mood again. Found myself thinking of a girlfriend that died 13 years ago. Her name was Monica. She was 29 years old when she left this Earth. She was my soul mate and I lost her. I have never found any girl like her since. It really is hard to find someone new once you pass a certain age. Probably never will find another with my current situation? I won’t give up though because I know she would want me to be happy. To anyone reading this that is going through Hell like me. Tell that special someone that you Love them every day! You never know when Death is coming for you? Live your life the best you can and have as much fun as you can every chance you get. [Real Story on how I love the apocalypse and what I think lead up to it] Since I was a child, I was really into action movies, like Micheal Bay levels of action where there's explosions everywhere, sure people in the movie were scared but I really liked it. Than I gotten into horror with Creepypasta's and SCP's. They gave me, an unsettling feeling when watching a video on them, and I'm like talking about like 2012 to 2014 so their popularity was booming or lasting. But I never really gotten into horror because it didn't hook me with crazy theories. Around the same time I really liked the movie 2012 and Transformers Dark of the Moon because... it was something I didn't see before. Than I discovered FNAF, like back when the game was like 2 weeks old, when all the youtubers were playing it giving it rockstar level popularity amongst the internet, the ambiance, horror and questions I had ended up leaving me stay with the franchise till today. 2013, E3. The first time I discovered an E3... what is this? Oh video games! What is this Destiny game? I had questions and why I was hooked on the dissolute atmosphere. But this is a style I am quickly getting into like Fallout New Vegas and 3, Last of Us. So I was getting quite used to it. 2014, lots of games but one gotten my eye- Tom Clancy's The Division, it had action, and a world I recognized but in a destroyed state, so in 2016 I played it and than forgot about it but the atmosphere in that game kind of sealed the apocalypse feeling for me. Of course I looked for other atmospheric apocalyptic games and eventually noticed that it's really an art style so I decided to make a universe but to make it different than the stuff I listed... I basically made a worse case scenario like Yellowstone Volcano erupting- no All of the super volcanoes erupting, nuclear warfare- nope Viruses, famine, civil disorder. This would end up creating "Post Rapture", an idea that I'm hoping to write about in the future, the time period of the book would range from 2015 to 2035, start of everything going bad to when the world is finally recovering but will remember it. If I was to describe the atmosphere of Post Rapture, it has an Last of Us and classic Fallout feel with some bits of The Division in it. The book would be like a fictional journal of a man called "The Wonderer" collecting other journals- family diaries, notes, pictures of someone's loved ones; it's gonna be really hard to pull off but I think I can do it.
More on Post Rapture. It's meant to be a realistic take too, using reference of the atomic bombs on Japan in WW2, pandemics, how would a country would fall apart and much more catastrophic disaster events. The winters are much more harsher due to the volcanic ash up in the atmosphere Summers are killer because normally during that time of the year, the sun is beating down on the surface of the earth causing heat

It looks out it's window into the gloomy, shadow-strewn 'day', seeing dim pale red streaks bracketed by inky black shadows across the landscape amidst it's icy dead world. Pour a dram in your finest whiskey glass. Light the cigar, and take a nice big drag. Read the first 15 pages after the introductions and citations. Read that and tell me it doesn't sound like whats happening right now.
It's unknown where I came from, when I came to fruition to life. Void of anything around me, but I know that I exist. Without purpose, no goal... I know nothing, but I understand nothing. I can tell you anything you want in the universe and you still gain nothing. I could give you the power to rule the world as you see fit, but you will achieve nothing. Nothing, is all I understand. But, it seems you have arrived here with no knowledge as well, but you understand nothing, and knowing nothing. So... Who are you? What are you? Do you know you even existed in the first place? Physically, I am tired, I am weak. Mentally I am wearing a mask, I'm funny, I'm making the best of things. People like me. The truth is, I've recently lost everything and am still picking up the pieces. After listening to this for an hour, my mind and body are in sync.

I wish humans tried to *understand* and *think* more in general, without deeming everything so simple and seeing so many things as shallow... Everyone is just so emotional and irrational, as well as delusional. Even those who devalue emotions in order to preach logic and facts still end up doing the same by seeing objectivity (arguing such a thing even exists) as the equivalent of their subjective implications. Everyone uses logic, doesn't mean it's ultimately true; thinking otherwise makes one subjected to enter a state of mind which immediately judges oneself as correct. "X loves Y" means that and that alone. Implying "X loves Y due to Z, therefore it is Q" is your personal take on it. True neutrality comes from being open-minded, knowing many variables have not yet been considered, so why not contemplate other perspectives? True neutrality would be to see such a statement, "X loves Y", and only *consider* the possible implications when enough premises aren't given to form a valid conclusion. Everyone is delusional to some extent, in some regard; why not realize everything you come up with, see, or evaluate has passed through a subjective lens? Not saying that ceasing to voice out your opinions and thoughts, knowing you could be wrong or cause discord, would be a means to fix this (it surely wouldn't) but why not just stay considerate of other thoughts and views? It takes more energy to spread hate than to stay neutral, to not do anything. It should be everyone's priority to improve and evolve; sticking to what you know and deem true limits you from possible insights and future development...
I certainly agree, as the world becomes more connected and information more easy to obtain. We as a people lose the ability to analyze situations and facts without extreme emotion. With the ease of speaking your mind most believe that the way they see things is the only way. May many more people like yourself inhabit the world after the collapse which is only inevitable due to the lack abilities you have stated.
Whenever humans disappear completely and forever, I wonder how long it will take for animals to forget us for good. ? @@cryochamberlabel interesting how come copy right isn't an issue? also instead of using mods i just use my steam overlay web browser to listen to the albums i like for example i listen "dark gothic" "steampunk" "fallout" albums etc. for fallout games. i just mute the music and let it play on the background. anyone who plays fallout 76 / 4 should try those i mentioned above. it really feels more like a fallout game. sure those games have excellent soundtracks but saying that they are "out of place" would be too kind. for comparison listen listen to "metallic monks" or "vats of goo" from the original fallout games.
@@merihaday5067 You are right, you could simple play it in the background but there is an advantage if you have a mod that integrates it in the ambient music. When exploring places there is sometimes a short music clip that sounds like"this used to be a nice place full of dreams of a prosper future, now it looks like *insert badly managed city*"( I don't know the title). Or some areas do fit for a particular set of soundtracks better, like in Nuka World the space themed part(it cries on how much potential for this civilization was lost). As far as I know ambient sound packs can do that. If you don't need/ want that, thats fine. The OST are not bad, but like with modded soundtracks you need a change once in a while. Now about the copyright issue, I would pay for such mod as long you can use the titles also on other devices( like you pay for good music). To the people that listen to dark ambient, your my kind of people. You don’t find it disturbing and your not weirded out by it. You enjoy the emotion it gives you like as if it was from a film that is dramatic in a way of sorrows or just comfort. It doesn’t always have to be related to horror, it can just be the soft ambient it gives out that is called dark for a reason. Yet we all are here and each one of us are mysterious that listens to this including myself, I always loved dark ambient. Even just use it to either sleep or play open world games being by myself.
(Edit) it’s like the dark ambient speaks in hieroglyphic words that we cannot understand only our mind and soul knows, the only thing we understand is the emotions it gives us that makes us think on a spontaneously deeper level, and that is what I call.....Meditation. Putting the reality to the side of what’s really going on and focusing on your thoughts of what comes into mind, and letting it run and make you think outside the box. It truly is mysterious how powerful our minds can be just by letting our brain focus on music on a deeper level.

There were less stars in the sky today. Even the moon looked dim despite it being full. I watched the news and the last polar bear has gone extinct. I went to sleep and had no dreams. The water has rust in it today. The plants I look after have begun to wilt for no reason. Whats going on? Why is everything dying around me?

There must be some greater forces we don't understand yet behind all this. There is another article about the Sun suddenly dimming, making the Moon dimmer. The rusty water George mentioned is probably just something in his pipes, since I am not experiencing it (I drink well water though, that might be the difference). His plants probably died because of the bad water. I've read that your dreams are just the souls of your relatives and friends from your past life showing you guidance. If you stopped having dreams, their souls are probably already gone. Which would mean that Heaven got it's apocalypse before us...
@@starchild2299 Actually, the polar bear population is at around a comfortable 30k mark, has been for several years now, they're not going extinct with all the regulations and bans on their hunting. The most likely reason for not seeing stars would be light pollution, as I'm sure you can agree that astronomers would be concerned if what that article you read was true, not to mention multiple papers and publications would be writing about it. The Sun dimming is because we are approaching a grand solar minimum, and that one is a concern, yes, but even then not an extinction level concern, only a major worldwide famine concern due to the volatile weather it will bring, or rather is already starting to bring. And for the dream part I disagree with what the article you've read about them says, my own beliefs on dreams are too much in my head to be put into cohesive words at the moment so I'll leave that at this. Lastly, you shouldn't worry about the heavens, if we are to believe the as above so below rule/statement (or however it should be designated) the heaven is just fin.... Okay maybe a bit less than fine, but it's still pre-apocalypse in there.

You need to focus on the beautiful aspects of the world : people you love, the beauty of nature, the expression of the artist through their art... Meditating is a good start, and if you don't know how to meditate, just sit in silent darkness and listen to your inner self. Heavy rain falling and the chronic pain has got me in a dark mood again. Found myself thinking of a girlfriend that died 13 years ago. Her name was Monica. She was 29 years old when she left this Earth. She was my soul mate and I lost her. I have never found any girl like her since. It really is hard to find someone new once you pass a certain age. Probably never will find another with my current situation? I won’t give up though because I know she would want me to be happy. To anyone reading this that is going through Hell like me. [Real Story on how I love the apocalypse and what I think lead up to it]
Since I was a child, I was really into action movies, like Micheal Bay levels of action where there's explosions everywhere, sure people in the movie were scared but I really liked it.
Than I gotten into horror with Creepypasta's and SCP's. They gave me, an unsettling feeling when watching a video on them, and I'm like talking about like 2012 to 2014 so their popularity was booming or lasting. But I never really gotten into horror because it didn't hook me with crazy theories. Around the same time I really liked the movie 2012 and Transformers Dark of the Moon because... it was something I didn't see before.
Than I discovered FNAF, like back when the game was like 2 weeks old, when all the youtubers were playing it giving it rockstar level popularity amongst the internet, the ambiance, horror and questions I had ended up leaving me stay with the franchise till today.
2013, E3. The first time I discovered an E3... what is this? Oh video games! What is this Destiny game? I had questions and why I was hooked on the dissolute atmosphere. But this is a style I am quickly getting into like Fallout New Vegas and 3, Last of Us. So I was getting quite used to it.
2014, lots of games but one gotten my eye- Tom Clancy's The Division, it had action, and a world I recognized but in a destroyed state, so in 2016 I played it and than forgot about it but the atmosphere in that game kind of sealed the apocalypse feeling for me.
Of course I looked for other atmospheric apocalyptic games and eventually noticed that it's really an art style so I decided to make a universe but to make it different than the stuff I listed... I basically made a worse case scenario like Yellowstone Volcano erupting- no All of the super volcanoes erupting, nuclear warfare- nope Viruses, famine, civil disorder. This would end up creating "Post Rapture", an idea that I'm hoping to write about in the future, the time period of the book would range from 2015 to 2035, start of everything going bad to when the world is finally recovering but will remember it.
If I was to describe the atmosphere of Post Rapture, it has an Last of Us and classic Fallout feel with some bits of The Division in it. The book would be like a fictional journal of a man called "The Wonderer" collecting other journals- family diaries, notes, pictures of someone's loved ones; it's gonna be really hard to pull off but I think I can do it.

It's meant to be a realistic take too, using reference of the atomic bombs on Japan in WW2, pandemics, how would a country would fall apart and much more catastrophic disaster events.
The winters are much more harsher due to the volcanic ash up in the atmosphere
Summers are killer because normally during that time of the year, the sun is beating down on the surface of the earth causing heat
these so called "Dark" Songs literally better and more meaningful than most trashy music nowadays for some reason its also calming me better
yeah. "good music" nowadays is mostly just people singing about raping your mother for 5 minutes straight and people singing about their materialistic opinions. i'm glad i'm "not normal", don't want to be the kind of person that listens to that "good music".
Thats because these tracks have soul in them and each sound unique, while most modern music kinda all sounds the same
Imagine surviving WW1, 20,000,000 and then returning to watch your family and 50,000,000+ people die of Spanish flu. Then you marry your sweetheart, have kids, try to move on with your life. When you're middle aged, you get to watch your son go fight in WW2, your house gets bomb in the blitz and you lose your sweetheart. About 85,000,000 people died in WW2.

In some far off distant corner of the galaxy thousands of light years away, in a dwelling on a small, cold, dark planet circling a dimly glowing, blood-red dwarf star sits a creature, unable to rest, flipping through spacetube, and happening upon this video. It looks out it's window into the gloomy, shadow-strewn 'day', seeing dim pale red streaks bracketed by inky black shadows across the landscape amidst it's icy dead world. With a depressed sigh thinks- "Finally, it's my jams".

It's strange, that everywhere I go, I see furries.
Physically, I am tired, I am weak.
Mentally I am wearing a mask, I'm funny, I'm making the best of things. People like me.
The truth is, I've recently lost everything and am still picking up the pieces. After listening to this for an hour, my mind and body are in sync.
I rejoice for you to of found some peace. May I one day find the same. This music gives some temporary relief from the hell. My problem is my life has made me very tough but at the cost of almost everything that is important. May you continue on your journey to a better future.

I wish humans tried to *understand* and *think* more in general, without deeming everything so simple and seeing so many things as shallow...
Everyone is just so emotional and irrational, as well as delusional. Even those who devalue emotions in order to preach logic and facts still end up doing the same by seeing objectivity (arguing such a thing even exists) as the equivalent of their subjective implications. Everyone uses logic, doesn't mean it's ultimately true; thinking otherwise makes one subjected to enter a state of mind which immediately judges oneself as correct. "X loves Y" means that and that alone. Implying "X loves Y due to Z, therefore it is Q" is your personal take on it. True neutrality comes from being open-minded, knowing many variables have not yet been considered, so why not contemplate other perspectives? True neutrality would be to see such a statement, "X loves Y", and only *consider* the possible implications when enough premises aren't given to form a valid conclusion.
Everyone is delusional to some extent, in some regard; why not realize everything you come up with, see, or evaluate has passed through a subjective lens? Not saying that ceasing to voice out your opinions and thoughts, knowing you could be wrong or cause discord, would be a means to fix this (it surely wouldn't) but why not just stay considerate of other thoughts and views? It takes more energy to spread hate than to stay neutral, to not do anything.
It should be everyone's priority to improve and evolve; sticking to what you know and deem true limits you from possible insights and future development...
I certainly agree, as the world becomes more connected and information more easy to obtain. We as a people lose the ability to analyze situations and facts without extreme emotion. With the ease of speaking your mind most believe that the way they see things is the only way. May many more people like yourself inhabit the world after the collapse which is only inevitable due to the lack abilities you have stated.

Whenever humans disappear completely and forever, I wonder how long it will take for animals to forget us for good. ? I'd like to think some with their better memories, like apes or canines would for the longest time. Kind of a sad thought, but this world MUST move on past humans eventually. I think there is a few, we've gotten a lot of requests for FO4 and FO3/NV radio mods over the years, don't remember what they are called though.
@@cryochamberlabel interesting how come copy right isn't an issue? also instead of using mods i just use my steam overlay web browser to listen to the albums i like for example i listen "dark gothic" "steampunk" "fallout" albums etc. for fallout games. i just mute the music and let it play on the background. anyone who plays fallout 76 / 4 should try those i mentioned above. it really feels more like a fallout game. sure those games have excellent soundtracks but saying that they are "out of place" would be too kind. for comparison listen listen to "metallic monks" or "vats of goo" from the original fallout games.

@@merihaday5067 You are right, you could simple play it in the background but there is an advantage if you have a mod that integrates it in the ambient music. When exploring places there is sometimes a short music clip that sounds like"this used to be a nice place full of dreams of a prosper future, now it looks like *insert badly managed city*"( I don't know the title). Or some areas do fit for a particular set of soundtracks better, like in Nuka World the space themed part(it cries on how much potential for this civilization was lost). As far as I know ambient sound packs can do that. If you don't need/ want that, thats fine. The OST are not bad, but like with modded soundtracks you need a change once in a while.
Now about the copyright issue, I would pay for such mod as long you can use the titles also on other devices( like you pay for good music). But like often with paid mods, patreon is a pain in the ass, I just want to buy the one mod, and not getting drained every month. The Creation Club is cancer since it ruins your modded game. I personally like the "space" themed song better since they are less dominant in the mood they set.

My father died of brain cancer almost a month ago.

It will take a long time to grieve. Personally I don’t think anyone ever truly gets over the death of a loved one. The sadness does fade with time.

It is the last cat present in the material but as all comes to its final hour it leaps towards the sky, to places far from the material, to Ulthar where it will prance and hunt as royalty.
