It is funny, but I rarely run into this situation. When directly addressing someone, I use the second person pronoun "you". No one debates this as far as I know. When I am actually with a person, I seldom find myself in the situation to use their third person pronoun "she" or "him". I do this when I'm talking ABOUT someone. And how often does one talk ABOUT someone using third person while that person is standing in the same room.Frequently that person is not present. Honestly, when I am with a person and I have to refer TO the person, I just use the proper name. Much easier.
It’s like everyone that talks to him just completely misses what he’s saying but are quick to assume he’s the in-compassionate one, he’s literally just against the government compelling everyone’s language by law. He’s for free speech, he’s against the introduction of laws in government that force people what to say.
One thing in all this, is why would people be referring to someone directly in the third person? When I speak with someone I say "How are you?" not "How are he?" In those rare occasions where you'ed use the third person directly, why would it be necessary to have a law?

The thing about language adoption is that general publics adopt language naturally, not when they are being coerced. For instance, only three years ago had I first heard the term "cis" and even now I refuse to refer to myself as a "cis". I'm just a woman and no one gets to tell me how I refer to *myself* in relation to others or that I should preface it with "cis-gendered". I refuse to compromise that just because how I reference *myself* makes *you* uncomfortable.
I agree that making misgendering a person a hate crime is pretty extreme, (It can be hard to tell sometimes and well meaning people will also misgender people.) and in my opinion everyone should either be he, she or they- i.e fit into the common language. But it’s important to remember that you don’t know how transgender people feel and that it’s not up to you to validate their experiences so if they wanna be know as a certain gender, show some compassion.

To me, this has always been simple: 1. You believe, identify, portray, and express as you like, excluding malice and hate (which is intent to hurt) and discrimination (denial of job, housing, etc.). That's your freedom. 2. I do the same. That's mine. 3. We do not tell each other what to say, and the government only does that to protect freedom insofar as possible. 4. Where these collide, we try our best to be kind (in this case, usually by avoiding unwanted words even when we can't say wanted ones). Summary: Give everyone opportunity and freedom, up to the point where it curtails that of someone else. Common sense, to me, is grasping and living by this. Think of two kids napping in the back seat and bumping heads. Each must stop at the center line. So must we. The center line is being pushed by those who, yes, have struggled to be recognized (gender dysphoria is real). But it is still the center line and it is still common sense to note it!

The narcissistic power play to pick a gender

@@royalewren I live in Seattle and it's really not that rare here. A number of grammar schools in Washington State have BIPOC only clubs, where kids are being taught they're oppressed and Whites are the oppressors. Kids who say they're Straight are being bullied at school. Seattle's Children's Hospital is performing genital mutilation on kids younger than 18. Suicide and mental illness has skyrocketed among kids, teens, and adults, in large part because identity politics is dividing and isolating people more and more. And focusing on one's identity only serves to empower the ego while obfuscating one's true nature...which is exactly what the parasitic psychopaths who are pulling the strings want.
She really did nail it. I think Jordan should speak her mind whenever she pleases and she should use whatever pronouns she wants to refer to other people. And I will keep referring to her as a she, because by her logic I should not be forced to use the pronouns she prefers. However, I could use Dr. Jordan Peterson instead of Mrs Jordan Peterson. Because you may be thinking I am referring to her wife. Would you know I was referring to Jordan if I referred to her as Mr.Tammy Peterson?

IF only Jordan Peterson could tell the truth. That would be a reasonable start.
To me, this has always been simple:

Legislation which speaks to 'gender' applies to everyone - cis and trans.
And 'Gender' - identity or identity and expression - has been protected in Canada for over 30 years - mainly as part of the protected category 's^x'
All Bill C-16 did was bring federal legislation in line with the Country. It did not change the legislation itself.
Dr Peterson's actual beef was with a point of policy (not a law) associated with existing Ontario legislation which has been in place since 2012.
See Ontario Bill 33 Toby's Law. He actually READ from this policy at the Senate almost exactly one year before this appearance.
Bill C-16 changed nothing in this or any other existing local legislation or policy in any part of Canada.

Why do you care about who they are as long as they're not hurting anyone?
Let me ask, if gender is a social construct then how is it “not a choice?” I agree, you can’t choice your gender and your are what you are, but you can see the confusion here, right?
Someone at work said my new gender is electrician 🤣
Someone at work doesn't care about how gender works.
I love how all of my opinions always turn out to be backed up by Jordan Peterson himself.
Speaking the truth
Free speech. Bottom line.
I agree with Jordan Peterson. SHE is right, I should be allowed to refer to HER with whatever pronouns that I want.
If that were true you would address him with the pronoun that fits that of what he projects.
@@RandomTask so you disagree with Jordan and agree with the new woke generation and would have to use the pronouns that Jordan want’s you to use by what HE projects. While Jordan is advocating that no one should force you to use HER pronouns.

@@wtrgypsy4533 You think only people who agree with your fringe politics are capable of relationships?
Shklee, Shklerm, and Shklem are my pronouns. If you use any other, despite you not being cognizant of my delusion, I am suing you.
My pronouns from hereby are "Majesty/Excellency", and that is to be respected.
What's the possessive pronoun of that? Like his, hers, theirs, etc.
