DF Architect is unfortunately broken on v11! In my research I missed checking that this module works on v11. Sorry about that! There is a workaround according to one user. Download the latest zip and manually extract it to your modules folder: github.com/flamewave000/dragonflagon-arch/archive/refs/tags/df-architect_4.0.0.zip
Yeah, you probably shouldn't use *any* of the DF modules anymore; the writing is on the wall for them. They haven't gotten any updates since early V10 (and some are broken with V10), their Patreon hasn't updated since December and none of the PR I opened to fix various issues have been noticed. They seem to have abandoned their modules. You really need to do your research before you recommend modules willy-nilly! And I say that as someone who has DM'd 4 weekly/bi-weekly groups for the past 3 years with Foundry and written modules, so your "300 hours"' feel laughable low to me.
@@DiceAndEasy Imported this zip folder into Foundry... received an error message that it uses outdated fields required for the most recent stable build. Alas...all of these killer features will have to wait for another day.
Build a Bonus video. yes please. I don't think I have seen one yet anywhere. I have a Druid with a staff that can create a 30x30 wall once a day. the wall has to be broken through (strength check) from both sides.
I'd appreciate a build a bonus video thank you! I wonder if we could use and tweak this module to make an interesting list for good and bad bonuses for players when they crit and fumble.
@@DiceAndEasy yeah that's correct. Make a rolleable table with specific bonuses for either 1 or 20 rolls. Like you rolled a 1 in the middle of combat, roll the fumble table and give that player a punishing debuff with the module. Idk like -2 to attack rolls for 1d4 rounds or something
Excellent list! I already use a few of these, but I will certainly be researching more of them. Right now I use Magic Items, but the Items With Spells DnD 5e looks... maybe cleaner?
Super helpful stuff! I'm just starting a campaign in Foundry for the first time so these guides are a huge time saver. Question @DiceAndEasy : Are you using a module to give your settings that tab-like appearance? For example at 3:20 when you're demoing PopOut! those stylized tabs are new to me. I think they'd really help clean up my UI since I have so many setting options on my windows with all these mods. Thanks again for the great content!
Glad to hear my videos have been helpful! Thanks for the kind words! What do you mean by stylized tabs? Do you mean the tabs at the top of the actor sheet (e.g. the DAE button)?
@@DiceAndEasy Yes, those! Sorry, I'm not sure what their proper name is, but yes the DAE, PopOut, Sheet, Token, etc. They appear more like buttons on your screen. In my Foundry instance, those all just appear as text across the top bar and aren't separated as "tabs". It also looks like there's a "more" button (the three vertical dots). In my Foundry if I have too many options they just start to overlap each other.
Ah yes I found out which module it is! It's a module called Plutonium which gives you access to all the DnD content you want. You can find instructions to install it here: wiki.tercept.net/en/Plutonium/Plutonium_Installation
My concern about foundry, as much as I love it, is the performance issues that happen on game night with the party, where things that worked perfectly during prep earlier that day get all wonky and laggy. My suspicion is that so many people are playing at the same time (and same server) on Friday and Saturday night. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions? I am already paring down as many live assets on game day, placing them into compendiums.
When I try to install DF Architect, I get an error that says "unable to load valid module manifest data". Do you know if there's a workaround for that?

@DiceAndEasy Yeah I found and tried that but for some reason it's not showing up in foundry. Hope they have a fix soon as that one seemed to be the cream of the crop.
It looks unlikely that the original dev is going to update it but there is another user in the DF Architect github who said that they have forked the repo and are trying to get it to work in v11.

Oh wow! Does this json actually make DFA work on v11?? That’s huge! Question: does this also include the tile flattener function?!!
@@roberttschaefer I haven’t tried this method myself but some users on the module’s Github page said that it worked for them.
