How to Transfer Everything from an Old iPhone to iPhone 14 and 14 Pro

- Here is the simplest way to transfer everything from an old iPhone to iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. This process will transfer photos, messages, Whatsapp, and even your phone number with the new eSim.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro no longer have a physical SIM card. So you no longer need to transfer your physical SIM card.
The transfer process is entirely wireless and you don't need a computer.
You have two options during the setup process. You can use iCloud or keep the two phones next to each other for a seamless transfer.
If you choose the iCloud method to transfer to a new iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 pro from an old iPhone, Apple will give you temporary storage on iCloud if you don’t have enough space to complete the backup and transfer.
If you choose the second option and keep the two phones near each other, you don’t have to use iCloud.
Once the transfer is complete, you can choose to erase your old iPhone.
The process simply copies everything. So before erasing your old iPhone, everything will be identical on both phones.

Excellent video. Even a phone dummy like me, senior citizen, could do this. I transferred from an Iphone 8 ( my first Iphone) to an Iphone 14.
This is just what I was going to attempt to do, but I wasn't to sure how to do this is. This is so good. Now all have to do is watch this short and simple video on how to data transfer from my Old iPhone, to my new iPhone 14 or my iPhone 14 pro.

This works great if you are on ONE Carrier, but not transferring to another carrier (like AT&T to Verizon).

Great and simple, brilliant video. I Bought a new iPhone 14 Pro Max, spent nearly two hours on the phone with an iPhone technician and got nowhere, only frustration. I don’t want my carrier to transfer and that’s what I am worried about. I don’t think it works that way though. Don’t you have to put the SIM card from the old phone to get that?

hi, just bought iphone 14 plus online. Can I use your method to transfer from iphone 7 plus to my new iphone. I intend to used the same physical sim card from my old phone. Appreciate some tips
you will not need the physical sim card, it will create an e sim card (electronic one) so it'll be the same things as switching the physical sim card from phone to phone but you do not need to move the sim card to the new iphone 14 since it will now be all electronic! Not sure what you do with the physical sim card after your done transferring everything

Not sure if you respond to messages, transferring from 1 iPhone to the new iPhone always gives me anxiety… so we don’t have to take the card out of the current phone and instal into the new iPhone 14? Upgrading from the iPhone 11 Pro Max to the 14. Have not done it yet but I very much enjoyed your video.
The new iPhones don’t have a physical card, so you don’t have to take it out. The last model, you did. With 14, it transfer sim data without doing any SIM card change
Just don’t delete anything on the old iPhone or reset it before making sure everything works on the new one after transfer

Yea this is only for the items on your phone. You’ll need to physically change SIM cards if you still have a physical one in both phones

How do I sync it over? The cloud isn't doing it right & my Mac laptop isn't syncing with safari from my XS either. I did literally every step, made sure iCloud & safari are toggled on in the settings app, safari tabs is toggled on from the start page in the safari app, I signed out of iCloud & then back into it, then I reset all devices, I've watched 10 really in depth videos on TH-cam & nothing! I want the safari tabs & folders on my XS to be the same on my Mac & IPhone 14. Any advice would help so much

You forgot to mention that when the new iphone and mine is a 14 pro max is updating the software it will frequently get stuck on "INSTALL NOW" which requires a new reset. This is a known issue by Apple and has a bulletin on it.

That’s what I’m having trouble with! Nothing I do is syncing my folders I spent hours making in safari & I’ve watched ten different videos with really in depth steps but it won’t transfer.
It doesn’t ask me for my number and when I get to the last step I’ve waited hours and the bar doesn’t move

I have a standard 8 and preparing to transfer to a 14 Pro. I hope it works the same, though I've seen on other videos that it should work the same as long as you're running iOS 12 or higher. I'm running 14.8 so I think I'll be fine, but I'd check on yours and make sure it's updated to meet that criteria. If nothing else, I made a hard backup on my computer and have iCloud ready to go so I can try either of those options in case this method doesn't work for whatever reason. As long as all my data remains on the old phone, I'll be at ease

@@keepaw2076 I had to upgrade the iOS version to 15. Something in order to transfer all my info into the new iPhone 14. So i deleted a bunch of apps because i did not have enough space to download the 15. Version. Then after doing that i just re download all my apps into the other new phone.
I just transferred stuff from an iphone 6 (12.5.6) to iphone 12 (16.0.2) … without hassles … thanks buddy 😉
but ip14 asks to download 16.4 which takes a lot of time!
