It isn't even that complicated. No one said this thing moves any faster than a normal snail. Either move to the other side of the world and live for 47 years (I did the math on snail speed and half the circumference of planet Earth) or occasionally move every ten years. Even confining yourself to the U.S. coasts, you could easily get by moving once every 14 and a half years. Assuming you're 20 and live to be 100, you'd only need to move 5 times! Yes, I AM overthinking this!

The snail question left out something crucial, the Snails only trying to *find* you. Not kill you, just *find*. Which means that either the snail is just trying to be around you for whatever reason, could be in love with you, or just wants to watch you from afar. Which means the chance its actually trying to kill you is much lower. So you could get an immortal murder snail, but there is also the chance you will get an immortal snail friend. You cannot touch, but you could very well live with it even. It did not even include the hyper intelligence of the snail, so you're dealing with just a normal dumb snail that you could put in a jar.
Always make sure you word your magical hypotheticals properly, or the monkies paw may get you!

The problem is that there's no description of the snail. You'd spend the rest of your life having your staff constantly capturing/killing every single snail within a large radius of where you are at any given time. You'd have to move somewhere with no snails at some point because it would become too burdensome ..... but with the knowledge the ONE snail is out there somewhere perhaps stuck to the side of a ship/etc on it's way to your location. Perhaps you could have trained animals that can sniff out snails and protect you. .....

But the audience never laughs at that. They laugh at the nerds being awkward.
Watching an edit with most of the laughing and pauses for laughing removed actually makes the show very funny and entertaining.

@@masterm8840There's no reason they should lose any. Humans who survived (initially) could lose all their gut bacteria, with humans who died losing none. However, as @EireProductions mentioned, there's also no reason for the 50% to stratify along species, so it's also possible that no gut bacteria dies at all.

1 your room is big enough it's not taking up space. I have a dresser on the side so if I slid my bed over it would be to close.

Just because you edited out the laughtrack doesn't change the fact that it was recorded with one, and the actors act accordingly. If they didn't, then you'd have dialog constantly being drowned out by the laughtrack. They pause because they want the viewer to actually hear the jokes, *especially* when they do use a live studio audience.
Comedy is about timing. Even an unfunny joke can make you laugh if the timing is right, and purposely messing with key elements of comedy (like audio) makes your argument fundamentally flawed.
Sorry, this specific argument is a pet peeve of mine. If you are one of those people, stop it. Let people enjoy things, let people think things are funny. Whether it be FRIENDS, Big Bang Theory, and whatever other sitcom that becomes popular to hate.
