You pretty much summed up how difficult the fight against Lance was in the original game for those who weren't aware of the Dragon Type Pokémon's weakness to Ice Attacks and were unprepared.
This felt so much like a final boss battle. That remix of Lance's theme was incredible; could never get tired of it.

When Dragonite came out, and I saw there were still 4 more minutes left in the episode, I was ecstatic. I don't think I've ever seen Dragonite shown with that much sheer power, and that Nidoking moment. Perfection.
Mad respect for NidoKing he was definitely the 🐐 👑👑👑👑👑
Let's just seriously take a moment to appreciate how smooth the animation always is!
I love how you showed the sheer power of Lance's dragons. For instance by having them move insanely fast (to the point Gyarados can dodge Pikachu's attacks) or having them shrug off most of the attacks that hit them save for the strongest ones (or Ice type ones). And of course there was Dragonite's entrance and first Hyper Beam... Heck, the entire part with Dragonite. Good examples of 'Show don't tell'. The staging was insane in this episode. Can't wait for the final episode! (Though it's a figure of speech. I'd rather wait a few months and have something insane than have you be forced to rush it.😅😉)

The best fight sequence yet i don’t know how Pedro continues to improve upon a flawless series but he does. He is single handily giving us the best Pokémon content 15 years.
We've come a long way. We've seen Red's journey up until now, but we've also seen Pedro's art get better and better with every video
This might be your best and my favorite episode yet. Lance’s team really felt unstoppable, like how dragon types really felt back then. So much great things to say about this. Like Red slowly figuring out dragon types weaknesses, and Dragonite just firing the Hyper Beam before he even fully came out. That was sick!! Loved the Lance battle remix, my favorite Pokémon battle theme!! The Dragons den remix was awesome too. Truly awesome battle man.
Hell yeah This episode was EPIC! The power level of Lance being so freakishly strong adds so much to his character, And Red having such an amazing relationship with his pokemon is fitting yet majestic in a way. This whole series just fits the characters so well. Here's hoping to one last fight between long time rivals.
Lance got more respect here than the literal Masters Eight in the anime.
Wow! That was intense! Lance is no slouch. Great storytelling. Brings back fond memories of myself battling against Lance's indestructible dragons.
The entrance of Dragonite is beyond epic. Hats off.
So good! Charizard vs Dragonite was the ending we all knew was coming, and yet it wouldn't have been close without Nidoking. Nidoking gave everything! Great animation! Even Blue's heart thumping and fist tightening. Gives me goosebumps are the climax that is Red vs Blue! Please keep up the great work!
Now that was quite an epic battle and seeing Red learn how to take on the dragons was awesome and calculating. Everyone out in work, but the MVPs were most certainly Lapras for finding a weakness and allowing the two Dragonairs to be defeated both personally and via freezing for Snorlax to finish off, and Nidoking for getting that clutch poison on Dragonite to help Charizard be able to take it on easier in an epic final battle.
