I got my purple Switch Lite as a late Christmas present and was initially gonna have it just for Mario Wonder, I immediately got sucked into Link's Awakening and that has been this month's game for me. What a great way to start the new year
This was so awesome to read! I love Link's Awakening. The Switch version is really great! I've played through it a few times. What other games are you going to play?
1:24 Same. I'm doing one of the Armour Quests and haven't beaten the final boss as yet.
I love playing these games, but I don't like when they end. I'm glad there are other people who are like me

For me, my two Christmas games are Ocarina of Time on N64 and Pokémon Sun. Playing OoT on Christmas morning was so distinct. It was such a breath taking experience. For Christmas in 2016 I got my Amazon exclusive lime green New 3DS XL with Pokémon Sun and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Little did I know, that getting that 3DS would ultimately change my life, and turn me into the 3DS fan I am today.

The month of december is where I desperatly try to finish any games or revisit old games before I get any new games because otherwise ill end up focusing on games I have played a lot of instead. As im watching this video im revisiting my old pokemon white save.
The end of the year always seems to sneak up on me like you described. I find myself racing to finish whatever I'm playing at the moment to get to the games I said I would play before the end of the year. Usually I give in and play the games I know I'll like, which usually has the three I mentioned in this video. I hope your play-through of Pokemon White is going well.

Just got to my hometown and took my GBA for childhood vibes continuing Mother 1 and the 3DS to soak into Pilotwongs Resort remembering the beautiful days spent in the Wuhu Island but this time instead of being on the ground doing all sorts of sports, will be enjoying the place from the sky.

Great topic for a video! I've never really had games that I associate with a time of year, but definitely do with different times in my life, or emotional states. Mario Kart 64 was one I always turned to when I was having a bad day growing up. Merry Christmas!

It's interesting what games inspire a feeling of Christmas and for what reason. I especially connected with donkey Kong country 2 in this video because it's one of my favorites but also Metroid dread even though I haven't played it, it's the Metroid connection because I played Super Metroid for the first time during Christmas break 2022.
I am confident Scott would say his Christmas game would be Parasite Eve for obvious reasons and less about when he actually played the game and more of that, it happens during Christmas in the game.

Super Metroid is so good! I played it for the first time just a few years ago as well. It’s so good! Dread blew me away! It’s amazing. Descobriu one of the best Switch games. DKC 2 is also amazing. It still holds up extremely well. I try to play it at least once a year. I hope this year is great for you guys! You’re one of the best gaming channels out there. You are so genuine in every video. I appreciate all the work you put into them. I can’t wait for the next one

I love all three of these games! I decided to play Tears of the Kingdom again this month, but I think I will add Metroid Dread to that list. Great video!
I really need to finish Tears of the Kingdom. I love it, but I haven’t been able to invest as much time as I did with Breath of the Wild. I’ll definitely set some time aside for it soon. You’ll have to let me know what you think is Dead when you play it
I don't have any particular games that I revisit every year, but I definitely associate a lot of the games from my childhood to Christmas, as you might understand given a lot of them were gifts I received during the holiday.
It's those games I think I hold in the highest regard. I just love the feeling around that time of year. Those memories last forever.
Merry Christmas buddy! We all have something we enjoy around this time of year. I love to go back to my GB, GBC or Gamegear around this time. Batman Returns on the Gamegear is a great one to play around Christmas

Really liked the whole 3DS content. Wht do you play more now. switch or 3DS? Just got recently into the 3DS after owning a switch mostly for the older Zelda gmes OoT and MM.
I play the 3DS slightly more right now. It changes all the time. Sometimes I really get into a Switch groove where that's all I play for a while. Then I slowly switch to the 3DS or something else. For right now though, it's the 3DS.

Hey There! Question for you. I am a it’s going to be crazy. I have grown up never playing Zelda. I’m 35yr now and after watching many of your videos, I want to take the step back. Can you give me a order I should play them in? I have a NES, SNES, Wii and Switch.
I don’t follow many, but your narration is amazing. Keep up the great work.
I usually recommend people play a top down Zelda game. They are the actual foundation the series was created on. I would go with Link's Awakening or A Link to the Past. Then I would pay Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. Then I would suggest Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. With those you'll get most of the high points in the story and get caught up on the series. Plus, those are all my favorites. I hope this helps! Thank you so much for watching!

1994-DKC with the Official Nintendo Players Guide!
Mortal Kombat II SNES
1995-DOOM (SNES-I still own it too, red cart and all!! Look at me go lol)
1996-Purchased N64 with Christmas money Dec 30. My younger sister currently has it. Gave it to her as I own a Fantastic Blue as well as RGB modded console.
After that, I bought my own presents per se lol

@@NeanderMeander Noticed the switch in the thumbnail and snowflake so I thought it was like your favorite snow/winter related games that you can play on recent consoles.
For me though, (I grew up with ds) nsmb ds world 5, The Legendary Starfy Chilly Dip Cove + King Ping boss, and Pokemon Platinum route 216/217 are my most memorable. Those sold millions though so I'm sure others also remember those.
