Ice products + Planetary Interactions = Station Fuel, which can be quite lucrative. So while Ice by itself isn't that great, the products used can really bring up your returns.

So it means getting off the field the moment you see a large fleet come in. Chances are they need to find the belt you are in and then tackle you down. Hopefully by then you have gotten into warp before they find you. Finally, he wasn't at warp in and is far away from rocks, giving you more time to get away if they warp in.

Don't need two screens. You can ALT+TAB between your alts. I use EVE-O Preview.
