Another tip when using other peoples structures when you’re playing solo in your own Corp : make sure you leave something (eg scrap metal) in the hangar for a character, this will make sure you get notifications if the structure is going offline. You won’t get this notification if you only keep things in a Corp hangar.
I am a new player, less than 3 weeks. I just got started into mining and was really hoping his would tell me HOW to compress ore. I have to take insane amounts of trips hauling from pt A to B. I thought compressing makes the capacity volume smaller.
great vid but i would be interessted if someone knows when it is worth to aktivate the industrial core of an orca. Does one additional alt is enough to get more ore then the Heavy Water is worth?
@@JAKEL33T Thank you for the infos. I'm flying a max tanked orca and boosting 3 mackinaw alts. I headed your advice of your ice mining vid and crunched the ice i mined and sell everything except the Heavy water. What i noticed that the heavy water you are getting this way won't last very long sadly :( Even with my max skills the fuel bay holds Heavy water for max 2 hour. it is becoming a pain in the but for my small operation. Maybe i should just buy a freigther full of it and stuff the orcas normal inventory with it. Great content from you and thank you for the response
I see nothing has changed player base wise. There is a reason eve has hemmoraged and loosing players. The game is decent I would cut back on the grind aspect and speed up skills. What's killing the game is how ccp and the devs handle things lots of favoritism. If you want a example search up why there is a suside hotline paid for by ccp.
EVE's biggest problem is that you can't train Omega skills outside of Omega. If I could train "trading" to LVL 5 as an Alpha, I'd gladly pay to become an Omega to use it. Paying for the right to train is insanely stupid.

Great tip. I've had a structure get destroyed while I was on a long hiatus. Made it easier and cheaper to get my stuff.
I make it a point to hold up in NPC stations if I’m not logging a toon in for a long time.

Why do you hold onto the ore now? Do you plan to sell it? Reprocess when you have better skills? Or use it for industry?

If your worried about the cost of heavy water maybe not be in an orca. The cost is insignificant even if your just drone mining.

may sound like a dumb question, but how do you find buyers for the ore you are compressing

Why would a player station stop compression/reprocessing at its station?
Save fuel or just block certain people from using the service
