Hey there, thanks for watching the video, I just want to put here as a reminder that after renaming everything you have to launch the game from the epic launcher and not launch the launcher itself.
even today i'm still searching for a way to play it offline lan game without internet, no luck yet.
man 2k and epic games really suck. Thank God there are dedicated communities to helping fix this issue.

The problem occured to me already a few months ago and I even contacted support (they couldnt helped me even after sending logs and everything)
although to everybody else seeing this: you have to launch the game thru epic if you just launch the renamed launcher it will not work
Ah, I forgot to include that they do indeed need to launch it from the epic games launcher. Thanks for reminding me.
Do you know how to fix the age requirements problem I used to play it civ 6 on muliplayer but now it says "you don't meet the legal age requirenments" how can I fix it?

Same, 3rd day can't play. I've got steam version. Support only responds like, "Update game" etc.
I got the game when it was free on epic after I got this problem I searched a lot of time to find a solution they said I have to unlink my epic account from my 2K account I did that but it didn't solved my problem so I buy it from steam and my steam account was linked with my 2k account after that I download it from steam and problem was solved. So I refunded game from steam(also I didnt connect my epic account to my 2k account )and when I opened from epic it was playable

Ayo guys, it doesnt worked for my BUT i find another way that actually works, change my epic games nick cuz i had some special characters "Adrïl" instead of "Adril" for example, so; maybe u just change your id to an only alphanumerical characters and re-open epic games, and the game, hope i help u

I can play on Internet without any issue. For some reason, I got just the Grey logo issue, so i can't login with my 2k account.

I bought the steam version, it worked properly. Maybe, it is related to the Free Civ 6 license from Epic game.

I bought the game again in the steam and it worked.

how about mobile version, played full version for 3 months, but now the game ask to purchae full version, funies part is when i clikc the option it's say's the game already purchased 😅,,

@@petersonosoriodeoliveira9318 I also need the video becasue the 2K sign in button also appears in grey color, making impossible to log in and get the Cat Scout and Julius Cesar, and that problem has been present for almost a year on Epic Games.
